Apple Park Picnic Pal Organic 15" x 12" Blankie

I bought two of these adorable Bunny Blankies and both products look exactly as depicted in the picture and the packaging is perfect for gift-giving. I will definitely consider giving these as shower gifts in the future! The fabric is soft and the stitching is well done. My son immediately took to chewing on the ears and rubbing the little bunny feet very cute. However, I was a little disappointed in two things, hence the 4-star vs 5-star review.

1) I expected the square fabric piece to be 15" x 12", not the overall measurement from top of bunny head to tips of bunny toes. So the blankie isn't as large as I hoped. Still, it is a good size for an infant/toddler to snuggle.

2) The product care instructions say to line-dry only. I have not tried machine-drying because I don't want to make this blankie smaller than it already is! The heads are heavy and filled with cotton so they take a long time to dry. I recommend buying two so your child can love on one while the other is drying (and in case you happen to lose one after the child becomes attached to it!).

purchased this for my five month old two months ago, and now him and his 2 year old sister are constantly fighting over it. it is very soft and looks pre-loved straight out of the box. it's a little pricey for something made in China though.

I purchased this darling monkey for my 6 month old daughter. I liked the fact that it was organic and it was differentiated from the loveys that her sister adores. Unfortunately, at around 10 months, when left to her own devices in her crib she literally ate one of the monkey's eyeballs off. The result was a rather ghoulish-looking monkey and two parents on alert as we waited for a monkey eyeball to appear in her diaper for the next 48 hours (we found it). That was fun.

I'd recommend the Angel Dear or Under the Nile (organic) loveys as an alternative. They are also both much silkier.

I bought this for my 14 year old daughter who is going overseas on a service project. I bought it because it is smaller and softer than the blanket she would like to take. I am very pleased with its material and quality; I was surprised however with it's size. Buyers ought to almost think of a 91/2 x 11 pan when they imagine the size of this little guy.

I got the gray bunny for my eight month old son. It's not as soft as I had hoped and has an odd texture not cottony as I had expected. It's also quite thick and doesn't seem as comfy to snuggle with as a thinner blankie would be.

Fisher-Price Amazing Animals Press & Go Crocodile

I bought this for my 5 month old son for his first Christmas. We took it in the kitchen and watched it go.. and he LOVED it! It moves fast and goes about 5 feet and the alligator jaws "chomp" while it is in motion. Tried it on the carpet, but the effect was not good as it only moved about 1 foot in distance.

My one year old recieved this for his birthday and loved it! He has no problem pushing the little bird to make him roll away.

BRIO Knock-Out Pounding Bench

Maybe our son is too young to enjoy this toy, (he's not yet 2) but he has banged it once or twice with vigor, though not quite hitting the nail on the head. In any case, it requires a lot of power to really drive those pegs into the board. This is good and bad. The pegs don't get lost, but that's because it takes a strong kid to whack 'em all the way through. Very durable and well made, though kinda small sized.

We bought this for our 2month old...not interested, even scared her a bit due to loud crinkle noise. Fast forward to 3 1/2 month old and BIG difference. She gets VERY excited when she sees it. She is now 5 months and still loves it. She loves the crinkle ears and nose now that she is teething. I put a link on the rattle tail and attach it to the mamaroo or activity mat and she plays with it for 15+ minutes. She even works on the little pink ribbons with her fingers! This is so adorable,and high quality soooo soft. Only trouble was, my granddaughter received about 7 of these! Different animals, but I thought this was the cutest! The design is very adorable and hard to be misplaced. However, the whole chain is quite big. I bought some soothie pacifiers and the hole is way too small to loop the chain in. I managed to looped it in but the thought of removing it..it was just eaier to leave it on that specific pacifier. It works good on other pacifiers such as NUK, Playtex binky, ect... Also because it is big and bulky, sometimes the clip cannot stay put so I would recommend to buy it for your baby once he/she can hold on to it.

Evenflo Bounce and Learn Bee Exersaucer

I recently bought this exersaucer for my 6 month old boy (who is big for his age: 21 pounds, 30 inches). Although it is super cute and not as cluttered or overstimulating as other exersaucers I've seen, I'm overall not impressed with it for 4 reasons:

1. My very large baby can't reach the floor even on the lowest setting, so we have to keep a folded-up towel under his feet so that he's not just hanging there.

2. After only a few days, he managed to chew some of the paint off of the dragonfly's face. This concerned me enough to remove the dragonfly completely from the item, which is sad because he really liked that part.

3. As far as he knows, this thing does not bounce. The springs are so stiff that it takes a lot of force from me to create a bouncing motion. I guess I should be grateful that he can't bounce it himself because it makes way too much noise---a delightful crashing plastic noise.

4. There is one place on the toy tray that does not have a toy. I did not know this because in the picture, the empty place is hiding behind the bee's head. However, be warned that it will seem to be missing a toy when you are assembling it. Maybe there are extra attachments that you can buy??

I'm considering returning it....the only reason I haven't yet is because baby boy loves hitting the frog on the head for the sound effects.

EDIT: Shortly after posting this review, I found more paint chipped off of a different toy (the eggshell/bird toy), and therefore I have decided to return the item. It's a shame...it had a lot of potential to be good, but the thought of my baby eating paint chips is a deal-breaker for me.

This exersaucer is definitely going to last us a long time. Baby is a little young to really get into it, I know the suggested age is 4 months, my little guy is only 3 but he has great neck control and loves trying to stand. I know that he is going to grow into this and love it. There are 3 replaceable toys and two electronic toys, so there are less batteries than the frog evenflo bouncer. It also has the stabilzer feet on it, which was really important for us since little one is no where near ready to have it wobble around. I am very happy with this and can't wait for the little guy to grow into it!

Bought this for my 4 month old and she liked it right away, even though she couldn't make it bounce at that point. As the other reviewers noted, we did have to place a pillow on the bottom so her feet were touching (she's 60%-75% for height). She is now 7 months old and still needs the pillow, but has been bouncing in it just fine since she was 5-6 mo old. She loves to bounce. It's a good amt of bouncing so she has fun, but she can't get too crazy with the stiffer springs so that I worry about her head bouncing too much. However, I have a 26 mo old that gets in the bouncer and can definitely really make it bounce! There are 2 chew, flexible toys, 1 with a bird in an egg that vibrates when you pull the string (my daughter has always loved that), and 2 toys that need 3 AAA batteries each that talk, sing & make noises (1 has a mirror). My only complaint is that nothing plays full songs, or anything like the classical music from my old Baby Einstein exersaucer. My baby does chew on the butterfly & apple & thankfully we have not had any issues with the paint coming off. Overall, we are very pleased with this bouncer and it has worked out great!

We bought this because I assumed new model= new and improved. The lowest setting is so tall that my 4 month old's legs needs to grow at least 3 inches before he can touch the base. He is in the 75th percentile for height and weight. Seat padding is cheap feeling with no quilting or softness. The head rest part of the seat is supported by a thin piece of low density foam that falls backward because the stitching is too loose. If I had seen this in a store I would have bought a different model. I have only had this for 2 days and cannot write a more detailed review, but wanted to warn others of how high this is.

UPDATE: Baby is now 10 months old and feet have only touched bottom on lowest setting for 2 months. This is by far the least stimulating toy he has and he screams when I put him in it. It also makes a cracking screech noise when he does jump. By far the worst design yet for an exersaucer. It is cute but that is the only compliment I have after owning it for 6 months.

Toofeze Baby Teether/Soother, Green

Toofeze was shaped a little different than I had originally thought even though I had seen the pictures. My daughters first tooth came in a couple days ago. She likes the silicone piece more than she likes the metal part but that may change over time. I let the toofeze sit in a bowl of ice water to get it colder faster and that seems to work ok. Not sure if its worth $20 but if my daughter continues to take to it, Im sure the money will be worth it if it helps the teething process. Only complaint I have is that the metal disc doesnt stay cold very long. It is shaped with babies small hands in mind. She is able to hang onto it really well.

I bought this at a local boutique for $20. My son loves it. It's just the kind of thing he likes to chew on. He doesn't care much for the stainless steel bump, but that may change when he's really cutting teeth. He has 2 teeth so far but they came in before I bought the Toofeze. I don't really get the "keepsake" idea, I know you can engrave the metal, but a mint-green rubbery toy as a keepsake? I don't expect we'll bother with that. The tooth hart is a nice idea, we may use it. All-in-all, my son likes it, the color selection is limited (as in just one), and it seems a bit over-priced, but if it keeps some of the screamies at bay, I'm happy with it.

This teether does what it states!!! Dip it in cold water and it instantly chills, hold up to the ac vent also instant chill. It also come with a teeth chart which is a nice bouns and will fit nice in the baby book. The green part of the teether smells a little funny, but it works so who cares. The one thing I would change is the carry bag it comes with is a sort of mesh so it allows small specs of dirt to pass into the bag and onto the teether. I wish it came with a different type of carry case so I didn't have to clean it every time I dug it out of the diaper bag.

I know this teether is more expensive than many on the market, but it is wonderful and completely worth the money. I have a couple different teething toys for my son and this is the one I save for when he is really upset. It works so well. It chills quickly and remains cold longer than the gel toys. John Deere Sit-N-Scoot Activity Tractor

My son got this as a gift on his first birthday. For months he pushed it around the house and played with the animals inside the seat. After a while, the animals went in the toy bin with all the other figurines we have, but he continued to "hide" other things in the seat. He also started to ride the toy in the house.

The next summer (he was nearly 2) we took the toy outside to use as a riding toy. He loves it! Since he doesn't know how to pedal a real bike yet, this was perfect for him to race around on.

He still uses the toy and he is nearly 2 and 1/2. He loves the horn and he is still small enough to be able to push himself around quickly. I would recommend this ride on toy to anyone looking for a good, durable toy for inside or outside use.

It was the most popular gift on his first birthday. He loved pushing it, sitting on it and moving the small animal figures. Lots of different kinds of fun for him.

I ordered this for my son's first birthday. We brought it to the party so he could use it to walk around since he's not fully walking on his own yet. It worked very well and now he uses it around the house. He loves the animals that come with it and the start up tractor sound. The only assembly is the seat back, which you just have to slide into the slots so easy! I would definitely recommend this for pre-walkers. We'll see if he likes to scoot on it as he gets a bit older. UPDATE: The sound/music died within a few months. We thought it was the batteries so we replaced those with brand new batteries and nothing. It seems like it just shorted out. My husband (who is all things electronic) took it apart and couldn't figure out what happened to it. This is actually the second John Deere product we've gotten first one was a tractor flashlight that would make the sound of a tractor starting up...the same thing happened with both products. I'm beginning to wonder if this might be some type of defect with John Deere toys. My son still keeps pushing the button to make the tractor sound and say's "Dada, fix it." It's a fun concept, but overall I'm disappointed with the quality.

Mary Meyer Okey Dokey 10" Dino Plush Bank

I ordered this for my son on Valentine's day and received it very quickly. It was packed in a sealed plastic bag which kept it clean, and the box it came in wasn't HUGE like a lot of other things I've ordered from Amazon. I love the design, the quality is great, and I found the price very fair for such a cute little guy! I've thought about ordering one of the pigs for myself sometime (lol). The only slight downfall, is that loose change can easily roll out of the slit on the top if your baby is playing with it or knocks it over. I use it more as a decoration in my son's room, although plugging the top (or leaving it empty) would make it appropriate as a toy. My son is 19 months now. Older children would have no problem with this. I would recommend this for any dino lovers out there!

My 4 year old absolutely LOVES this bank. I got it for her so she could start saving money. The plushness serves two purposes -it makes it a little more attractive for kids and it gives padding for the inevitable drops and bangs it will encounter.

The port on the bottom is easy to unscrew to get the money out, but there is a little plastic string that keeps it attached to the unit. Smart, that is, because the kids ALWAYS lose the plug somehow.

Little Tikes Jungle Jamboree Tiger Xylophone/Piano

This is a great toy, and not just for those 18 months and over.

When he was 4 months old, my son picked this out at the store; he seemed intrigued by the tones when I demonstrated it. I placed it at the end of his play gym, and one day he stretched out a foot and hit a piano key. Bing! He stretched out another foot. Beng! I could almost see the wheels turning. Excited, he started kicking fast, realizing his feet were playing a tune, and he loved it! I always kept the piano far enough away that he would hit only the plastic piano keys and not the harder xylophone keys. During tummy time, this was a toy to which he would stretch, and playing it made him forget that he was on his tummy.

A year and a half later, he plays with this all the time. When he was learning to stand and walk, we kept this on the ground, because it could hurt if it fell. Now we keep it on a low table at "piano" height, and he plays both the piano and the xylophone (yes, the string is a bit too short, but the lawyers probably designed it).

Another big plus to this toy: No batteries.

I bought this cute xylophone toy for my year old grandson. Even though it is a toy I expected more. Quality control should have made sure that there was a complete scale. In this case the 2 highest notes were identical in size and therefore sound. The pitch was off on a number of keys. The producers could have done better for a musical toy. Even though it came with songs (that is if you cut up the box to get at the song cards)they were annoying to listen to since the notes were either missing or off pitch. I would not recommend this xylophone.

My wife just got this for our son for Christmas. We tend to favor toys that will foster a love and understanding of music. Perhaps there is an advanced music lesson to be had here -that when you cut a piece of steel a little smaller than another one, it will indeed be a higher pitch but not necessarily tonal with respect to the other. That's not a lesson that my seven-month-old is ready to learn. The scale of the octave is badly out of tune. It grates on my ears, and I hope to raise a child on whose ears this toy would grate as well.

It is a good looking toy, and it seems like it's probably durable. It "works" in the sense that the action of the keys results in a bell being struck. For these reasons, I give it one star rather than trying to demonstrate that it deserves zero.

Only buy this toy if you are sure your child is tone deaf or ready to explore breaking away from the limits of chromaticism.

We had wanted to get Little Tikes' worm xylophone/keyboard, which is very similar to the Jamboree Tiger. However the worm, which I had gotten for my nephew around 5 years ago, is no longer made, so we figured the Tiger would work just as well.

The first one we received from Amazon had about two keys badly out of tune and about three keys that would only chime with dull thuds, unless you hit them very hard. We returned it and received a replacement, which was even worse, with even more flawed keys.

All in all, this was a very disappointing product, especially compared to how well the worm worked. I will note that Amazon prime provides fantastic return service.

We got this for my daughter's 1st birthday since she likes to smack things and seems to enjoy musical toys. I read a lot of reviews about various xylophones, and noted that the baby versions tend to be very out of tune. Figuring that my daughter wouldn't care, we bought this anyway.

The reviews were right; somewhere around the orange key, it stops being a scale and is more like a musical catastrophe. When I see these (and others like it) in stores, I try them out, and each one is wrong in a different way. My daughter doesn't care though, and that's the point. When she's old enough to care, we'll get her something that sounds right.

Love this toy...it's soft and very durable (washed once a week for the last 6 months). My daughter loves to chew on the ears or just shake it up and down.

I ordered this from Welcome_to_my-Toystore but NEVER received it, only ONE of my several emails was answered and when i left feedback, the seller had the audacity to LIE about communication with me, and that they sent me the item and I declined. Why would I contact them requesting the item and not a refund if I declined it?? Plus if you track the package it only says package information was received on one day, never mentions anything about it acually being shipped.

Schylling Ambi Trumpet

...but my son can't get enough of this thing. I am constantly torn between congratulating myself for finding something he enjoys so much...and psychologically flogging myself for buying my toddler a HORN.

This toy is great! It is simple, solid plastic and really easy for small kids to use. My daughter figured out how to use it at 7 months old and she hasn't stopped blowing this horn since (now 11 months old). We have also bought other horns (tommy toot and one man band) from this company and are very satisfied with the quality. We were concerned when our daughter was not vocalizing yet at 7 months old, so we purchased this horn so she could practice making some noise, and once she understood how to use it, she has been tooting it everywhere. Only complaint is that when we received the horn it made noise both ways (both sucking and blowing into it). After it got full of a lot of spit (teething and drooling a lot) it only made the sound while blowing. It is still useful though, because you can blow on both sides for different sounds. I'm not sure why there are a bunch of choking hazard warnings on this product. It is solid plastic and I don't see any marbles or balls.

The sound is crazy annoying but you cant help but to be glad that the kids are having fun. I brought 2...so each could have their own. And they love it. great buy. Quality brand. Have other toys by this company.

Definitely my fault for not looking at the size, but looked at a bunch of trumpets, none were this small except the party favors. It is only 5 inches long. The sound is not bad, but nothing like a trumpet, more like a b-day party favor or kazoo. Not a bad toy, just not worth $9 plus $5 for shipping. I will read all the fine print next time.
