Great costume for the price and my 10-year old daughter was thrilled! FYI though, the "socks" aren't socks, they are plastic covers not a problem to put regular socks underneath, but wasn't what I expected regardless. Oh, and it only comes with 1 glove. I suppose I thought the other was hidden under the pom-pom. Again, no big deal....we love the costume and know it will be a huge success on Halloween!

very cute costume. really hated to spend this much for a halloween costume, but my daughter REALLY wanted it. when it arrived very quickly i was happy! but then when i opened it i discoverd it only had one pom-pom. making it just a single pom i guess. and only one striped arm band. it never stated there was two of either, i just assumed there would be. but it was still cute. the white part is made of a shiny pleather type material. it was wrinkly and i didnt know how to remove them cuz i didnt figure you could iron that? ... which irritated the 9 yr old :( helped make that bad attitude for the "cheerless leader" that much more authentic imo!

I read a lot about the importance of children having a baby doll both boys and girls, and a lot of the dolls out on the toy market seemed aimed at little girls, and I wanted something unisex/culturally diverse so I was happy to find Basket of Babies.

The babies come in a basket and wear little sleep sacks kids can take on and off (the hat stays on the baby). My son loves the doll wearing green and carries him everywhere, and likes to "tuck the babies" into bed.

I thought this would be a fun toy to hang from my baby's stroller but they don't clip on well. They fall, don't stay in place and my 4 month old can easily pull them out when they do stay in place (for about 1 minutes or so). So I can't really used them, not even as a floor toy because the clips get on the way and my baby has hit himself with them... bummer, the bee is beautiful!! (the firefly is REALLY ugly though)

I got this for my daughter because I thought it would be a good teething toy. I love that it is organic cotton (and even stuffed with organic cotton) I don't have to worry about any chemicals from my daughter chewing on it. I love Under the Nile products and I like that they are fair trade. So far the strawberry is a little big for her to put in her mouth but she will chew on the strawberry leaves. My daughter also has one of the Under the Nile scrappy cats and the arms are easier for her to chew on then this toy.

K's Kids Press and Go Inchworm Rattle

This is a really cute toy. I love that the sounds in the bead filled wheels ifs very gentle. Also when you let the toy go and it hits something, which it often does, it does not damage the surface not make a sound thanks to the soft plushy head of the caterpillar.

Loooooooove it, and my daughter plays with it often.

My only minor complaints are that the push down mechanism is not that easy for a baby to learn it does require pressure that a tiny hand just cannot figure out. So she plays with it as a rattle but I have to make it 'go'.

Also, the description suggests that the heads shakes. Well it doesn't shake on its own or during movement but you can rotate it manually.

I got this for my 17 month son. He loves it. It is a fun rattle, that he likes to shake, and I'm teaching him to press on it. Once pressed it rolls for a long time on the hardwood floors, but much shorter on the carpet. Also, I like the fact that it's not all plastic. The head and tail are made of soft material. I highly recommend it.

RoomMates RMK1132SCS Transportation Peel & Stick Wall Decals

I painted a simple mural with sky and gently rolling hills and then applied these decals. I'd add a picture but can't figure out how to do so. They're so awesome because...

I bought these transportation stickers for my baby boy's room and it really makes the room! The detail and color is fantastic! The price for what you get (amount of stickers and quality) is great. I did not have a big budget for decorating her (and her brother's) room so after tons of research, I chose these RoomMates stickers and I was not disappointed! I was able to remove and reposition them several times.

A few things to keep in mind:

These stickers are printed on a clear background so whatever color your walls are, it will show through slightly. My son has blue walls but this did not affect the clarity of the mural at all.

The stickers are super thin, so be careful when peeling them off of the paper! Make sure the sticky side does not stick to itself and that you do not tear them as you remove them.

Make sure you start with a clean wall to ensure these don't peel off over time. Also clean hands will keep dirty fingerprints from sticking. Lastly, try to keep these on interior walls of your house. Meaning, not on window walls or walls where the outside is on the other side. The temperature change in the wall might cause these to unpeel.

Yes, these arrive folded up in a small package, but even though there were fold marks on the castle and some of the other stickersthis does NOT affect the sticker at all! You do not have to try to flatten it out before you apply to the wall, like someone said. The stickers are so very thin that the folding makes no impact. There are no fold marks because it is just rolled and slightly flattened to fit in the package. This is a non-issue though.

These decals are very cute and could be very fun. However, they are very thin and not very durable. My 2 1/2 y/o son put a decal on the refrigerator right after we opened the package. When he pulled it off, it tore in two. The same happened with the second decal we tried on a window. We were hoping for an item a younger child could stick on the windows and move around when he wanted. Seeing they are vinyl, I expected them to last. These decals do not seem to be up to the task.

Teddy Bear Infant / Toddler Costume

I ordered this costume in the 12-18 month size for my 12 month old, who is the 90+ percentile for height and 75+ percentile for weight. As soon as I opened the packaging, I was impressed with the quality of the costume. It is heavyweight, high quality, and the padding on the tummy was a cute touch. The bear feet are separate from the rest of the suit which is also a plus because it may be difficult for a toddler to walk around with those huge bear feet! I thought the costume itself was perfect, however the sizing ran big. It was wayyyyyyyy too big all around and about 6 inches too long for my son in both the arms and legs. Granted, he is in between sizes; I had debated on whether to order 6-12 or 12-18. The latter was obviously the wrong choice so I returned it for the smaller size. I'm hoping that one will work!

VTech - 3-in-1 Learning Zebra Scooter

Grandma and Grandpa delivered the Zebra Scooter to our 28-month-old grandson this past weekend. I (Grandpa) could hardly put it together since he was so excited about the scooter. Would the excitement last? After screwing on the wheel and securing the seat, he was off! He rode it around the house and outside. We took it to the park and he rode down the hill. He kept saying 'I love this'. And he certainly proved that. The scooter is a 'cute' design.... I think it looks more like a cow. It is well-made, and did not scratch or mar the wood floors. Technologically, it was more advanced than I thought it would be. There are 3 different attachments that plug in to the top of the zebra head: a compass, flashlight, and walkie-talkie. These attachments will 'program' the toy to give different responses when the lighted buttons are pushed. Yes, this toy does speak and play music. The parents were going to put some tape over the speaker to mute it, but I didn't find the sounds intrusive, even while we watched football on TV. The speaker has a loud and soft setting, and the music and voices are pleasant enough. I didn't get a chance to listen to all the messages, because our grandson 'claimed' this toy and was energized by it. The 3 different modes of the scooter are really inventive. The basic, seat-down position is his favorite, as he can scoot around all day on it that way. The seat can be raised a bit for another position, which is used to push the scooter. He was also able to sit on it in this mode, sort of like an Easy Rider position. The third position is the standup scooter. He is a bit young for this, but took the challenge, and managed to scoot around with some help. His Mom and Dad said the toy was a hit, and we got our share of 'I love you's' from our grandson.

Congrats to V Tech for making a neat toy for young kids. This is a perfect gift that should get a lot of use.

I got this scooter for my two nephews. One is almost two, the other is a newborn. The great thing about the scooter is it converts from a walk-behind toy for toddlers learning to walk, to a sit on scooter to a standing scooter. The conversion is pretty easy and requires no tools.

I was very impressed with the build quality of the scooter. Some assembly is required (isn't it always). But, it's not bad. The sounds the scooter makes might get annoying to parents after a while. But, there is a volume control on it (two position switch). As for learning, my first thought was "Kids aren't going to learn an awful lot from this". The manual didn't really detail how to use all the functions. But, then I realized an 18 month old ain't gonna be reading the manual anyway. There are buttons to push and things light up and just maybe they'll learn something from the animals and songs on the scooter. But, the main thing they'll learn is cause and effect, at that age.

I think my nephews will love this toy and it'll be something they can use for quite a while.

Normally I associate V-Tech with learning toys. I think they are now branching into other areas. This is a well built scooter. Has more than the basics, lights, music etc. Not sure if the kids actually push all the knobs and whistles while actually driving it as a scooter. It is sturdy, looks nice and bright. Can be used in multiple modes, a push walker, scooter etc. Looks cute too. Do you need a $50 scooter that can blink and whistle... it is upto you. For the money it does a admirable job.

My 9 month old loves this toy! He rides on it while being pushed around or moving his feet to cause it to roll forward. He's very intrigued by the flashing lights and sounds. The clarity of sound is amazing,,not muffled at all. Causes my infant to pay attention to what's being said. Goes well in my son's Safari themed play room. I love that the baby can sit on it, use it as a walker (that does not tip), and eventually use it as a scooter! Says it is to be used starting at 18 months, but my 9 month old is doing just fine with this toy..just as he does with the Fisher-Price Go Baby Go! Stride-to-Ride Dino. Great that he will enjoy this for years to come and it's very easy to interchange between the different functions. Excellent education about different animals too. Kinda pricey here but I got a deal elsewhere when it was on clearance for about $30 bucks. Worth every penny!

My son recieved this for Christmas when he was 8 months old...He loves being able to push it all around the house without our help and it has so many lights and songs that keep him entertained for long periods of time. This has also been a favorite for my 2 year old. She enjoys being able to sit on it and ride around the house. She is very small for her age (at 28 mths she's 20 lbs and 29 inches tall) and she can reach the ground with her feet to do it herself, which has been a problem with other ride on toys. It is very stable and we haven't had issues with it tipping for either of the kids. It has also held up very well to their abuse...It's been rammed into many walls and shows no signs of wear at all. I think that it will definately hold up to many years of fun for our kids.

Lamaze Mix & Match Activity Blocks

I bought these as a baby/holiday gift. Thought they were stackable, but three of the four blocks are actually connected, so you cannot stack and have baby knock over--isn't that the point of blocks?!

Little Tikes Cozy Coupe 30th Anniversary Car

I find the complaints on here a little hard to believe. I found the instructions, while lengthy, very simple to follow and easy to accomplish. This is a great product. I put the coupe together Christmas Eve, after about five cocktails, and it still only took me about twenty minutes. Some people just like to complain, I guess... and others are incapable of doing things for themselves.

My little girl (14 months) loves her coupe and was playing in it instantly. She quickly figured out how to get in the seat and start to play. The cutest thing is watching her open and close the doors herself and then draping her arm over the windowsill, just like a grownup.

If you are at all handy, do not be intimidated by the complainers... it is an easy job, well documented and quality constructed item.

I have put together a lot of toys for my daughter, including the Kidkraft Suite Elite Kitchen but nothing has never compared in terms of frustration level to the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe! It can be put together, but it is not fun... I've included some pointers in the video portion of the review.

Ok, so the assembly is a nightmare, but once it was assembled our daughter loves her cozy coupe. I mean she really loves it! She likes the little horn on the steering wheel and I like the removable floor. Our daughter is currently 15 months and she is still a little too small to propel herself... she tries but she usually starts to fall underneath the Cozy Coupe. However, we installed the floor she learned that she could sit back and enjoy the ride.

One thing that is worth mentioning is that once this thing is assembled it is pretty robust and seems to be well-built.

Pros-

+ A nice design for both boys and girls

+ The removable floor means that it grows with your child

+ Our daughter loves the little horn on the steering wheel

Cons-

We have all talked about the assembly here are a few of my tips

Use a rubber mallet instead of a hammer

Forget using a screwdriver you will need to either pre-drill the holes or use a decent cordless screwdriver (It needs some muscle)

If you can find videos (in addition to mine) watch them prior to assembly. Taking parts back off of the Cozy Coupe will make your nightmare that much worse.

Why can't they add a few words in the instructions... such as "This part is a sticker"

It would have been great if there was an optional handle I can push the Cozy Coupe but I must scrunch quite a bit

Unless you open the door it is a bit of a challenge to get into and out of... not that big of a deal, but our daughter has not mastered the door yet!

Final Verdict-The Cozy Coupe is a great toy if you are up to putting it together!

My parents bought this for my son, who admittedly does love it. But the thing is a nightmare to put together (especially the six red caps that go over the exposed metal rods). And has been pointed out, the instructions are worthless.

And no sooner did I get it together, one of the red caps broke, leaving an exposed metal rod that he could get hurt on.

So I went online and filled out the form to get a replacement of what has to be a thirty cent item. And although this is the 30TH ANNIVERSARY COUPE that only came out THIS YEAR, I was told I'd need to provide proof of purchase to show that it was purchased this year just to get a replacement for a badly designed part that is there to ensure safety.

I'm sorely tempted to return this car, and to avoid Little Tikes products until they improve their customer service.

Edit:

My parents insisted on keeping the car, and although we found the receipt & emailed it to them per their instructions to get a replacement part, they've yet to send it. My parents still like it, but from my perspective the quality is lacking & their customer service sucks.

We bought the Cozy Coupe for our grandaughters 2nd birthday. It arrived the day of her party so we didn't have time to put it together before giving it to her. No problem for Alivea....she got so excited when she saw the box....the adventure began! My son-inlaw was removing the pieces from the box and Alivea was already finding ways to play with them. After just a few minutes when the car was taking shape, Alivea was already setting in it. We had to remove her so her Dad could finish assembling the car with the help of his brother. The next morning, my daughter (Alivea's Mom) told me that Alivea had to eat her breakfast in the car. The Cozy Coupe is a great value for the money! We just received this adorable little car for our baby's 1st birthday. We were nervous to embark on putting it together after reading all of the horror stories. My husband and I are not the most handy but we really had a fairly easy time putting the car together. I STRONGLY recommend using the assembly video online instead of the paper instructions. I watched it once before we started and then watched/paused as we went along step by step. We only had a little trouble screwing on the roof--be sure to start the screws early as advised by a 'tip' in the video. Really helps to use a drill or electric screwdriver for this part. Another little tip from me: I took all the small parts and laid them out in the box they came in and used a sharpie to label the part's letter--made it easy to grab the one you needed as you go. Othwerise, our baby is LOVING his new car and we are very pleased with our purchase.

Animal Planet PET20107 Hammerhead Shark Dog Costume

The body of this costume fits my dog just fine, but the hammerhead "hat" slips all over the place. My dog's head is no smaller than the pug's in the picture, but as soon as he moves it starts slipping. Perhaps a better design would attach the hammerhead to the neck of the shark body to prevent side-to-side slippage. On the plus side, my dog still looks adorable even without the "hat".

I got it for a 25 lbs pug and it fit well, but it was a blue shark and not a grey hammerhead shark. I would put a picture here if I was allowed.

I actually returned this product. I bought it during "shark week" (held in August) because I thought my Jack Russell should play her part by dressing up. The costume was disappointing (not unlike many dog costumes---most of the time I make my own, but a shark was beyond my expertise) It did not fit properly, the tail would not go straight, and was not completely connected to the costume. Bought this as a gift for that hard-to-buy-for daughter's boyfriend's dog this Christmas. It is very well made, and the hammerhead piece is an amazing feat of engineering. His dog is a tiny min pin who loves to burrow and wear warm coats, so he wears the whole thing without complaint. Hilarious! I tried it on my rat terrier but her ears are too upright for the headpiece and she hated it. If your dog is at all compliant I would say it is worth a shot to buy this, especially if the ears are more floppy than perky.

Radio Flyer 3-in-1 Walker Wagon, Pink

We received the Radio Flyer "3-in-1" as a Christmas gift. My daughter is 15 months, and was an early walker, so the "learning" angle of this toy was limited for us. Like another reviewer, however, I would hesitate to use this toy for a child that hasn't really grasped walking yet, as the axles are very smooth and there is less friction than in other walker/ride-ons. This is a huge plus, however, for little ones that already know how to walk, as it is less frustrating to push around.

Although I am happy with "ride-on" mode of this toy (pictured), the "wagon" and "walker" modes are not very good. The darker-pink "shell" of the toy clips into the "ride" position, and can be unclipped for the "walker" and "wagon" configurations. However, for these modes, there is no way to secure the shell, it is very loose, and easily comes off. This essentially turns the toy into a scooter. There are ample warnings against letting your child use the toy in "scooter" mode, but all the child has to do is lift the shell off when using "wagon" mode, and voilà, instant scooter. (another caveat the instructions warn against letting children ride inside the "wagon" or "stroller," but a child's bottom fits very comfortably within the shell, and the temptation to get in is really too strong for any child to resist).

I fixed this problem by drilling two holes through the shell and into the base and securing the shell in "wagon" mode with plastic bolts. This fixed the problem, but it is very frustrating that this step was necessary. I would have simply left the shell in "ride" mode except, at 15 months, my daughter's legs are not long enough yet.

Despite the obvious design flaw, the toy is very well-made, rides very easily compared to most walker/riders, and is pretty adorable. Those prepared to drill a couple holes, etc, will enjoy the versatility of the toy. Everyone else should just stick with "ride" mode and wait until the child is old enough to have their feet touch the ground while riding.

I bought two of these 3-in-1 walkers the red one for my nephew and the pink one for my daughter who turned one within a few weeks of each other because I love the idea of a toy having multiple functions. I am a little disappointed with this product though for several reasons.

Ride on mode: The seat is very slick and small it is easy for a small child to slip forward or backward off of it. It is hard to push the child when they are riding on it. There is also no way for a child to steer the toy.

Push walker/stroller: The wheels on this are very slick which means it slides easily. And it is hard to steer.

Pull wagon: When you flip the bucket for wagon mode, there is no way to secure the bucket part so it is easily removable. Once removed, the toy looks like a scooter which is dangerous and not what it was designed for.

In conclusion, I would not pay full price for this toy (thankfully I got mine for 75% off). My daughter has enjoyed aspects of it but buyer please beware of the limitations of its functionality.

We bought this for our daughter's first birthday. She is getting ready to walk and we thought a toy she could push around would help her learn to take those first steps. This toy is darling, and easy to assemble. It is made of very light-weight plastic, and the wheels are very slick plastic. We found our daughter can only walk this toy around is if she pushes it, on the carpet, from the side. If she gets behind it, or gets her hands up on the handles, it moves way too fast for her. When she is older and can ride on it, it will be great fun. Until then it has limited use. The seat can flip over to be filled up with toys, but it does not snap into place. It only sits on the base, so it too is very unsturdy. I bought it because Radio Flyer makes those wonderful wagons, but this toy has nothing to do with those wagons. It should be weightier and should have rubber wheels instead of light-weight plastic.

Radio Flyer has always been a brand you can trust. So durable & now adorable as well! This toy is perfect for my 1 year old niece! She can ride it, push toys around in it, and even uses it as a 'stroller' for her big stuffed bear! This item is so cute, she loves it & calls it Buggy! (Sounds more like Blugy when she says it!) I love Radio Flyer products and am pleased to see them step out of their shell with this item.Very unique gift that will provide years of fun!

INFANT Deluxe Eeyore Costume - Disneys TM Winnie The Pooh

This costume is absolutely adorable, except it is made of fabric that is itchy on the inside, and it is not lined. On very cold Halloween nights it may be OK, as it is really thick, and you'd have to put it on with an extra layer of clothing on underneath since it's so itchy. My son looked just precious, but didn't last longer than 10 minutes in it, and he fussed and cried the whole time (he's NOT a fussy child in general). Oh well...

The quality of this costume is so bad that I couldn't even put it on my child. He started having a fit as soon as his skin got in contact with it. What a waste of money. It really is horrible.

This costume worked out great for Halloween! My baby was only 10 months when he wore it and the only size I could find for this costume was 12-18 months but I just rolled the sleeves and legs in a bit and it fit him fine. It was very warm and soft and he seemed comfortable after getting over the initial annoyance of having an Eeyore face on top of his head! He crawled around a little too while wearing it and went about his normal baby activities. It's definitely a great outfit if you're going to be outside in chilly weather but my baby did get warm when wearing it inside for awhile so we ended up taking it off of him once we were in for the night. It made for some very cute pictures on baby's first Halloween!

Lawnmower Push Toy

I purchased 2 different push toys for my son. This one and PlanToys Preschool Walk N Roll. I felt compelled to write a review comparing noise level. This toy is so much more pleasant. The PlanToys version was VERY loud, and I am going to return it.

This toy also has a 2-piece handle so that it can be adjusted as the child grows older.

I bought this for our year-old great grandson. He received many toys and things for his birthday. His mother told me that is favorite toy is the Push Toy. When she vacuums, he walks behind her with the Lawnmower Push Toy with a big smile on his face. This toy was recommended to me by a friend who is also a grandmother. I'm sure he will be outdoors "mowing the lawn" with his Dad this summer. It doesn't make any noise to distract visitors or his mother using her phone.

Was deciding between this and the classic lawnmower style push toy with the wooden slats on the outside and balls inside. Followed another reviewer's advice regarding the noise and am very happy I did. This makes enough sound to interest my one-year-old but isn't one of those toys that you end up taking away because you can't stand the racket any more. As far as push toys go, if you have a small house with narrow spaces for the child and toy to negotiate, this is much more practical than some of the larger walker/push toys out there.

My one year old loved this. He pushes and pulls it around the house. It does not make annoying sounds just enough to keep him interested plus no batteries required. He just got it and already has had hours of enjoyment. Many toys today have a "learning" toy label on them but in my opinion they are just noise makers but with this one I can actually see him building his skills. Quality is good and should last.

Kids Preferred Amazing Baby Feel and Learn - Soft Book

Our 4.5 month old LOVES "crinkle" books so when we saw this in Buy Buy Baby we had to get it. And it is a wonderful book!

As with other books of this type, it's just a few pages long, but each page has bright colors and different textures. The cover/inside page has plastic teething corners and an orange fish made out of some really soft material (I don't know my materials, sorry!). The second page has a soft purple mouse. The third page has a silver butterfly with a smooth pink body and a shiny metallic-type material for the wings. Then we have a sheep with a fluffy woolly body...and last but not least a soft pink pig with a plastic hot pink nose.

Each page has matching animal noises in text, along with what the animal is (furry mouse, woolly sheep). I think the "scaly fish" should have had a different material, LOL, but I still love it. It also has a string with plastic toys on the end (a star and a circle) that you could easily attach to those plastic rings you always end up with when you have a baby!

INCORRECT PRODUCT DESCRIPTION ALERT: Amazon's page says "Features include teether spine, plasic and soft parts for tactile exploration, a photo slot for your favorite picture of baby, and sounds of rattle, crinkle and squeak!" Well, there is NO photo slot for your favorite picture of baby and there are no rattle and/or squeak noises--it's all crinkle. I am assuming the product description text is generic and used for all their books. I didn't mark down for this, however, because I bought it in person so saw what I was getting.

Our baby son absolutely LOVED this book!! It was his favorite toy for several months (approx 6 9 months old). The book would regularly keep him occupied for 20 minutes at a time. We could always rely on it as a quiet, portable toy to bring to restaurants, on car trips, and at home. He even still plays with it occasionally at 14 months old.

One of the best features about this book is that it has held up very well to weekly washing and scrubbing. Depending on how dirty it was, I put it through the laundry machine (in a net bag), through the dishwasher (top rack), or scrubbed it with a scrub brush + dish detergent in the sink.

Defintely a great buy!

First of all, the "scaly fish" is made out of exactly the same (soft fuzzy) cloth as the "soft pig," so forget teaching your kid anything, this book is purely for textural enjoyment. And that would be fine... except that this book totally unnecessarily includes polyurethane foam. If you've been following the news (or try googling), polyurethane foam is very likely to contain toxic flame retardants, and it is difficult even for a toy company to determine what chemicals the foam it purchases may contain. There is simply no reason to include polyurethane in a book like this that babies are meant to chew on! I received this as a gift and will not be keeping it.
