My granddaughter looked great for her first Halloween. This was a quality costume. We were very pleased with the purchase.Read Best Reviews of Cuddly Elephant Infant Costume Here
My son love it. When I brought this for my son, and he was so happy. It made a whole difference if my kid's happy. This is a nice costume: well made, good materials. Minor gripe: the ears don't stay up too well and the hood falls back sometimes.

It wad lop-sided once blown up. It did not stand straight up. The top part of the cupcake and candle was hanging off to the side. It wad poorly made. But, cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for.Read Best Reviews of Inflatable Birthday Girl Ring Toss Game Here
I ordered this game and it wasn't what I expected. When I opened the game found that it had holes and we couldn't play the game. Pretty bummed! But I knew it wasn't going to be what I expected! Save your 8$. I wish I had :-(It looked like it came from the Dollar Store. It would not stand up and would only tip over. Two of the rings would keep deflating. It was useless!Sunday, August 10, 2014

The Farmer Says
This toy has a half ring that can be flipped back and forth to display different animals. There are 16 animals, which are named and make their individual sounds when the handle is pulled. There is also a song sticker that plays Old MacDonald had a Farm or The Farmer in the Dell. And there is a quiz sticker that asks you to find the animal based on the name of the animal or its sound. The farmer is on an arrow in the middle and you point it toward whichever sticker you want and then pull the handle.
I only have two minor complaints with this toy. The handle sometimes sticks on the way back up and makes a soft grinding sound. Also, the volume is a bit loud and there is no volume control button. Overall, it's a great toy. This is a bad replacement for the classic! It uses batteries so the lever is useless. It does nothing but make the sounds unaudible with extra rumbling. It doesnt need the extra page because the extra animals on the other page, the song, and the quiz are all unrecognizable. The reduced size is a plus, but the handle is hard to pull for my 2 year old. So no sounds come out since the handle didnt get pulled correctly. I remember the classic being a much better toy because it would play on all pulls, the sounds were great, and the size was perfect for laptop play. Blah, for $10 it was not worth it!I am not sure what is going on with this toy and the companies that are selling it through Amazon. This toy, made by Fisher-Price is a $10 item. You can get it from ToysRUs, Target, Walmart, etc. I don't know why it is selling for so much more ($80-$90 range). I have e-mailed the two companies selling this item, B&H Outlet and Wizard Entertainment to find out why it is so expensive. I am still awaiting a reply. I would hate for someone to pay so much for such a simple toy; although, I would like to think no one would. Was looking for the same toy I grew up with but this one was half in size and not loud at all. Hearing the sounds are a big problem. Did not hold the childs attention well at all. Very disappointing. F-P could have made this one better potentially taking safety too far and overiding the performance factor.I bought this for our grandson Ian a few months ago. Its so cute and really does teach a small child a lot about animals. Very clear, easy to handle and operate and bright colored which I think is important to small children. Its a great buy and will provide hours and hours of entertainment for a small child. A must have. I liked it so much that I pre-ordered the new ABC one for another grandson.

My daughter loves her "Georgie." So far it was survived very nicely almost 6 months of sleeping and playing with my toddler. She is not rough on her toys, but I'm still glad to say that it's not falling apart at all.Super cute and very well made. My toddler loves him and I would buy more of these in different styles.Monday, June 16, 2014

Delta Cars Toddler Bed
Also the cars pictures are stickers that do not stick on well and get pulled off by pillows or sheets being pushed around near them. Do not try to tuck in a comforter or thick blanket at the end of the bed as it will bend the plastic end piece.
The bed has held up well and shows no weakness, but the stickers are now gone.
I would not recommend this to anyone who has an active curious toddler who moves things around a lot or might tear off stickers if they start to pull away from the bed.My wife and I bought this bed for our two year old son. We have had the bed for two weeks now and nothing but good dreams so far. I had some problems with screws lining up but beyond that set up was easy. I would recommend this to any parent worried about thier toddler tearing the bed up from being to rough.

I got this bed for my son when he turned two and was climbing out of his crib but not big enough (and we couldn't afford) a twin size bed.Two years later, it's going strong! He weighs about 30 lb, I weigh 120 and we both sit on it each night when we read stories. I've had two adults and my son on it without issue. My son is beginning to outgrow it now, mainly because he tosses and turns so much at night but for the price it was totally worth the buy. He's four and still not too long or too big for it. He just moves too much.
I don't recall having too much trouble putting it together either. I would buy it again in a heartbeat!I bought this bed for my 17 month old and he loves it! I make sure none of my kids jump on it and that it is in a room that the kids aren't rough housing, but I think it could take some rough housing, but maybe not jumping. I feel it is very study and my son loves sleeping in his big boy bed and hasn't fallen out once! Overall a good buy!I bought mine from a local Sears. Same product. Bed was easy to put together. I am not handy. It took me 45 minutes but for most handy dudes it would have been about 20 min. All the screws lined up. However, some screws went in easier. All screws were vacuum sealed in one handy cardboard piece. No bags. Alll screws were labeled. Our 2 year old loves it. "Big boy bed" is what he calls it. Highly recommended.

Little Tikes Push & Ride Racer
Assembly was easy enough for my husband, although it did take about 30 min--there are quite a few pieces that go into putting on each wheel. It'd be nice if the wheels were preinstalled but then the box would have to be a bit bigger, which isn't as economical, so consider your time spent an environmental service :)this little tyke ride-on car was given to my oldest boy on his first b-day 2 years ago! he loved it and still loves it today! my two year old rides it now and loves it too! we were going to get one of those ride ons that makes noise and don't look as durable! we are so glad we chose this! its a winner! you cant go wrong w/little tyke brand!

My son is almost one and I really want him to walk (not that I'm a pushy parent but I'm pregnant again and he's hard to carry around.) The minute my husband put this together my son went crazy! His eyes got big, his tounge came out, and he made giggly noises as he pushed it everywhere through the house. When he runs into something that causes him to stop he hollars out for help. Not only is it a cute sight to see, but I feel like he is learning balance and coordination too. Not to mention that he is now becoming aware of the three dementional world in which he lives. True, it's a simple toy with no bells and whistles but that's what makes it nice. You child is sure just to delight in their ability to get up and go!Read Best Reviews of Little Tikes Push & Ride Racer Here
I bought this for my son, who has been crawling for 2 1/2 months and seems close to walking.Pros: He loves it! This is a small, simple version of a push-toy/walker. It's great for apartment dwellers or folks who have limited space at home. It's small enough to fit well in my son's playspace, but large enough to support his weight. It's study, too he's a rough 'n tumble kid, and the car has held up very well. My sister and best friend also bought Push & Rides, and all are still in perfect shape after four years of enthusiastic play.
Cons: It's a pain to put together. The directions are all in pictures (whatever happened to using words in instructions??). I've assembled entire pieces of furniture with less frustration.
I'm including my addendum to the instructions for those who want a little more guidance:
Parts List:
K (small, black) and O (large, gray) are tools. You'll need them to tighten the nuts, but will throw them out after assembly.
M: red screws; G: white anchors; H: yellow endcaps
The rest of the parts list is clearly defined.
Instructions:
1-Pull the three metal bars out from the bottom portion of the car. You'll have two skinny bars (E) and one thicker bar (I).
2-Take one of the skinny bars (E), and hammer one end into a small nut (J). It's easiest to do this if the nut is on top of a sturdy block. Do the same thing with the other skinny bar. You'll end up with two bars (E), each with one nut on one end. You'll have two nuts (J) left over. Set the bars aside to use in instruction #4.
3-Put the white plastic hubcap into the indentation of the black wheel (do this with all four wheels).
4-Take the skinny bar (E). Next to the nut (J), add the wheel so that the white portion is touching the nut, then add a washer to the other side of the wheel. Put the bar through the holes as shown, so that it acts as an axle.
5-Once you have the bar (E) poking through the other side, add a washer and then a wheel. Now, you just need to add the last nut (J) to make sure the wheel stays on securely. Take the two small black capnut tools (K). Fit one capnut tool (K) over the nut that's already on the end of the skinny bar. Turn the car on its side, with the capnut tool (K) on the floor.
6-Put the other nut (J) on top of the exposed end of the skinny bar. Place the other small black capnut tool (K) on top. Bang on it a few times with the hammer until both nuts (J) are securely locked onto the bar.
7/8-Push the white plastic anchors (G) into place as shown.
9-Hammer the yellow endcaps (H) into the handlebars.
10-Hammer the thicker metal bar (I) into one of the the larger nuts (N).
11-Put the bar (I) into the blue car base and add red handlebars as shown.
12-Use the larger gray capnut tools (O) to hammer both nuts (N) onto the bar (I) securely.
13-Pop a beer: you're finished!
Want Little Tikes Push & Ride Racer Discount?
DON'T BUY THIS! It's horribly flimsy. It broke when we very carefully put it together. I then called Little Tikes to complain and was put on hold for twenty minutes until I gave up. Tried again later and this time after 10 minutes of hold music enter in my phone number for a call back. I then received a call back but was put on hold again for 10+ minutes!!! I finally spoke to an agent named Alison who was rude and threatened to hang up on me when I tried to explain my problem.Just an awful company with ZERO customer service. Will never do business with them again.

Moby Clutching Toy
However, once he was able to sit up on his own, the baby really enjoyed putting Moby's head or tail in his mouth and gumming on the particular end he had chosen. The non-toxic finish on the tail piece has dulled and lightened from his chewing; the adjacent blue ring has also lost the sheen it had when Moby was new. The head is dulling, but the eyes are still fine. The other drawback to this toy is that when a little one decides to shake it vigorously, there is the distinct possibility of clunking either himself or the adult playmate with Moby. Yes, it does "hurt" when you get bopped by Moby!
Moby is a fun toy; but, it would not be my first choice as a gift or personal purchase. Haba toys are well made and have multiple uses. Nevertheless, there may be choices for your little one, other than Moby, which will provide better sensory or play experiences.

This toy is so cute, I almost bought it for myself rather than my son. But it is a great toy for him as well. It is a little more challenging than some of his other toys. It teaches him how to grasp things with two hands and manipulate things into his mouth. He likes it most when he is getting a little tired and is sitting in my lap, needing something quiet to do. I also like that it's made of wood, not plastic, and is something we'll keep even after he outgrows it.My son didn't get interested in this until he was about 4-5 months old. This toy is probably a little too much for younger babies.I really like this durable toy. It has bright colors and is made very well..i'm not worried my son will pinch his fingers or anything like that. I do agree with some of the other reviewers about it being a little too big for small babies..my son is 4mo and i don't believe he is quite ready for it. He can hold on to the Haba frog teether toy better.

Merrymakers Princess Baby Doll
Buy Merrymakers Princess Baby Doll Now
My granddaughter loves the Princess Baby books. She enjoys holding her Princess Baby doll while Gran reads the book to her. Well worth itI love all things Karen Katz and was adding books to my collection for my 3rd child coming in June. I saw this doll and thought it would be perfect for my daughter. It is very cute and will be a great 1st doll for her. The size is perfect and she is soft. The tag says it is for any age but you would have to remove the crown and shoes to make it safe for a baby/toddler.Friday, February 28, 2014

Fisher-Price Meet Abby Singing Abby with Dvd
Buy Fisher-Price Meet Abby Singing Abby with Dvd Now
My daughter got this as a birthday gift for her 2nd birthday. She has been fascinated since Abby's arrival on Sesame Street, so when I saw that this toy was a talking doll that came with a dvd and was reasonably priced, I knew I couldn't go wrong. She loves it! It is well constructed. She can squeeze the belly on her own and have Abby say about four phrases, which are cute and funny and honestly, I don't find them irritating at all. The volume level of Abby's voice isn't loud as some toys can be. It's cute, a good size for her to tuck under her arm and carry with her as she often does, and well, still a month later she loves it and Abby is still holding strong. Great toy and well worth the $. The dvd is short, and it's just an intro into Abby's arrival on Sesame Street. Maybe about 20 minutes long? Still cute and worth the $ and a great investment. Well constructed and a fun new character to add to the loveable gang on Sesame Street. :)One note on rating I did rate the educational value fairly high because I feel that imaginative play is important for kids, and this definitely does encourage plenty of it.

I gave this to my 3-year old granddaughter who loves Abby...by squeezing her stomach she says different "Abby" expressions. She is light and soft, and I recommend her for a younger child as well. She comes with a DVD which she hasn't played as yet,so I can't review, but just the fact that the sound is so clear and she is soft and cuddly would have been enough without the dvd!My daughter got this for Christmas and Abby instantly became her favorite. She sounds just like the character does on tv, says several short phrases and sings a song. My daughter is 2 and is able to activate the voice part by herself (some toys are too hard for her to squeeze) and the sound is not make-you-deaf loud like some toys. The only complaint I have is that the wand came off and I had to sew it back onto her hand. However, considering how much love this Abby is getting I shouldn't complain! She is also the perfect size for my 2 year old to carry around (which she does, all the time!). As far as being educational, this toy certainly is encouraging imaginative play which is very important in the development of small children. My daughter loves to pretend that she is also a "fairy-in-training" even to point of insisting that she wears her hair the same way!
