Infantino Baby Girl Animals Twist and Fold Activity Gym and Playmat
Buy Infantino Baby Girl Animals Twist and Fold Activity Gym and Playmat Now
My twin girls were about 3 1/2 months old when I purchased this item. At a time when nothing seemed to entertain them, this did the trick! The toys are really cute & the girls are very entertained by the sounds they make. The mat gives them room to play. Love it :)Read Best Reviews of Infantino Baby Girl Animals Twist and Fold Activity Gym and Playmat Here
If you are looking for a cheaper activity gym that folds up, this will work. It's nothing fancy. The one reason we bought it was because it folds up. However, during the folding process we bent one of the bars which makes the whole activity gym lopsided now. Cant bend it back so it is what it is. Overall it is just ok.Want Infantino Baby Girl Animals Twist and Fold Activity Gym and Playmat Discount?
My granddaughter loves being on the playmat. Gives her a variety of colors and shapes to kick and watch. The mat gives good protection from the germs of a carget.Friday, August 1, 2014
Kettrike Happy Navigator Air
UPDATE February 2013: Grandson (almost 4) now graduating to a 2 wheeler with trainers this has been a great ride since he was 13 months old and still looks/works good as new! See pictures from "no more stroller" to "been a great ride"!I tried the lower priced model first because it was about $100 less but ended up moving up to the Happy Navigator Air Trike. We are very pleased with the product. Assembly was fairly easy, even though the instructions suck.
The quality of this trike is miles above the first model we tried. Adjustments for size of child take seconds and the air tires make it smoother and quieter both indoor and out.
Our grandson is a special needs child and this will serve as a great training device. The free-wheeling feature works very well and the adjustments will make this trike last for years for him. Most important though is how well it works now.
Very well built, solid, and good design.
I would recommend this one if you can afford it and suggest the toe clips.

We purchased this trike for our 15 month old son for Christmas after camping with some friends who had one. It has become our son's favorite toy!! Being able to steer for him is awesome (he still thinks he is the one in control). It's a little pricey, but well worth it. It is really well made and durable. Seems like it will last for years!
In fact, we saw one at a garage sale a few weeks ago that was about four years old. Although it had seen alot of use, it was still in great shape!
Definitely recommend this product!!

The designers of this trike solved virtually every shortcoming one would find in a trike. Most of the great features are described by other reviewers so I won't repeat them here but definitely spring for the "Air" Navigator that comes with real rubber tires. Plastic tires won't last. What I will address is the negative reviews which stem from either a lack of understanding about how the trike works or an incorrect assembly. First, this trike will absolutely allow your child to pedal, brake, or coast. That's what the 3-in-1 Auto-Freewheel was designed for. The reviewers who claim their child can't pedal haven't bothered to adjust the front wheel so the pedals rotate. Notice that the guy with the review: "so glad i didn't pay full price for this glorified stroller" bought his at a estate sale? He probably bought a different model without the Auto-Freewheel function! I recommend going to the Kettler website and watching the video. It will quickly show you how to adjust the trike because as many reviewers accurately state, the directions leave much to be desired. Everything is pictorial rather than explained in words. Second, the handle bars, if properly installed and tightened, do not "rotate freely." I would imagine everything would need re-tightening after some use which is basically applicable to any product that has a screw! I find the parent steering to work very well. Before I engaged this feature I tried steering without it and it's difficult. Most importantly, my 2 year old son loves it and because of the quality construction and adjustability, he will use it for years, easily justifying the $239 price tag.Want Kettrike Happy Navigator Air Discount?
The Kettrike Happy Navigator is in another league. German Engineering for the little ones! This tricyles is durable, very well made, sturdy, and strong. It looks and feels like a bike that will be in the family for a long time. It is also very versatile-you can lock the steering and control everything with the push bar when your little one is younger and then unlock the steering and remove the push bar as your child grows. The tricycle can easily be adjusted as children grow taller and need more leg room.
Highlights:
1) Real tires-this makes for a smooth, quiet ride and longer lasting tricycle
2) Three point harness-outstanding safety feature
3) Our little guy loves the basket in back-perfect for collecting leaves and pinecones on our walks.
4) Metal frame-super sturdy and durable
Worth every penny. Be sure to remember a helmet!

Step 2 Sizzlin' Shapes Kitchen
Although, now that she is almost 2, I think she plays with it a little more. She cracks me up with some of the things I find tucked into the microwave or in the refrigerator. She enjoys putting things in the sink and refrigerator and watching them tumble out and the shape sorter is a great. Her favorite thing about it, naturally, is thedifferent noises it makes.
Overall, a nice product from a good company. I would have given it 5 stars if it held my daughter's attention a little bit more, but I think it just depends on your kid.Gave as gift to granddaughter at 16 months old. This is the first toy she runs to when she visits every time for the past year. She is now almost 2 1/2 and is getting too big for it but still loves it. What she loves the most are the electronic sounds -the sizzle when she sets a pan on the burner and the water sound when she pushes button on sink faucet. I've been looking for a bigger kitchen and am disappointed that I cannot find a larger kitchen with the water sound feature. The only thing disappointing with the kitchen is the refrigerator -the shelves are barely there and round so that nothing can sit on them and therefore is useless. But, this doesn't matter to granddaughter because she is happy using the stovetop, sink, and microwave. My grand daughter loves this. It's perfect for her small hands...not too big and not too small. Just the right number of extra pieces.Step 2 Sizzlin' Shapes Kitchen

Fisher Price Peek a Block Incrediblock
And probably the coolest part from MY perspective as a mom, is that the Incrediblock has built-in block storage, so when playtime is over you can put all the blocks away behind the little door, to avoid stepping on blocks all over the house!
I highly recommend buying a set of extra blocks. We got the alphabet set, and they're a great supplement to the included blocks. I don't think it comes with enough blocks to "fill up" the various locations where blocks can go. The only weird thing about the alpha blocks is that the animal inside the G block is a grub... Why not giraffe, or gorilla? Grub? Really? Okay then...
If you have a kid that is constantly starving for new and exciting toys, you really can't go wrong with this toy.Overall I like this toy. However, the biggest bummer is that I also got the extra blocks with all the alphabet letters on them.... THEY DON'T WORK ON THIS ITEM! It come with some blocks and when you place them on the top it will say what it is, which is really neat, but the alphabet blocks that you buy seperate only play a song when you plug them in. I also thought that something neat would happen when you place the blocks in the side block cut out spot, Nothing happens : ( My 1 year old son loves to climb on it and put the blocks in the holes, but some of the features I thought I was buying this for were pretty disappointing!

Bought for my great granddaughter for Christmas. She was only 9 mo. old but she loved it right away when the box was opened.I originally bought this toy for my son before he was born because I really loved the Peek-a-blocks. Before he was even born over 10 kids had played with this ranging in ages 1 to 9 and they were all so entertained by this thing! Granted I have almost 100 of the blocks this thing has so many compartments the kids can be entertained all at once and switch sides. My son is just getting old enough to play with this and already loves it too. I definitely recommend to anyone who loves the peek-a-blocks.Sunday, April 20, 2014
Kathe Kruse 5" Wooden Ring Rattle Plush Toy, Hedgehog Paul
One thing I didn't expect, though, is that the hedgehog is only held on the ring with weak velcro. It comes off when my son shakes the ring. In fact, we don't bother reattaching it. We use this as two separate items -a hedgehog with a bell in it that he likes to play with and a separate ring with crinkly fabric that he finds very interesting. It looks plain to me, but son often reaches for this toy first.
Plus, it's not made in China, which is so rare these days.
VERY happy with this purchase.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Fun with Friends Musical Table
I like that it has a few different settings that include ABCs, music, an interactive real life sounds and Spanish with English translation. My only complaint about it is that it doesn't have a volume control like so many Fisher Price toys have!! However, I really haven't been too bothered by it, as the songs aren't very long and are actually rather cute. I find myself singing along with them frequently.
I love that the ABC setting includes numbers, too. Each individual number can be pressed on the telephone. My son also has the Leap Frog Learn and Groove Musical Table, but it doesn't have a lot of the different features this table has.
I would definitely recommend this toy, it's great. My 9 mo boy has been playing with this every chance he gets since he was 7 mo. I also know the LeapFrog Learn & Groove(tm) Musical Table because my niece has it. I like this one better because it has a lot more going on. Both kids seem to like this one better if given their choice.
I put the legs on it immediately as he was already starting to lean on furniture, but as other reviewers note they are easy to take off (unlike the leapfrog), which is great for packing. It has been great to see him get more and more steady on his feet. He can now crab walk all around it to choose which toy he wants to use. It looks like great exercise and that is my favorite thing about the toy. of course, he fell backwards a few times while practicing his standing, but that's just in the nature of the toy: do not use unsupervised. Probably best used on carpet.
Others have complained that the computer closes hard and kids can get there fingers trapped. I have to say that although it makes a loud noise, it does not close with any force. Closing the computer with his hand in it seems to be one of my son's favorite things to do and he does it often with no indication of pain or injury. He just slides his hand right out and is in no hurry to do so.
Actually, the biggest problem is that he likes it so much it is sometimes hard to get him off it. When he does get off it and we start to get into a good game of peek-a-boo, it actually pipes up with "hey, I wanna play" and he actually leaves me to go play with it again. I guess there is a timer in it that makes it say this after it is inactive for about 30 seconds. Now I turn it off immediately when he gets off it so it will shut up. I also hide it from view for a few hours a day so that he will play with me, his other toys, visiting grandparents, etc.
Another gripe: the Spanish mode says everything in English first. Since he presses the buttons one after the other, he sometimes doesn't even hear the Spanish word. I don't understand why they need to translate everything from English, since he doesn't even speak English yet. Also, the songs are still in English. So it hardly speaks any Spanish at all. If it is very important to you that your child learn Spanish, the Leap Frog does it better.
All in all, I'm very satisfied with it. I think that it is helping him with walking. I have gotten more than my money's worth and highly recommend it.

My children (even the 5 and 3 year old) love this table. The songs are catchy, but if they start to get too annoying, you just switch the mode to something less noisy, such as the imagination mode where each button just makes a funny sound. In response to the first review about there being no volume control, there actually is a switch under the table that changes the volume from loud to soft.Read Best Reviews of Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Fun with Friends Musical Table Here
My 10 month old received this as a gift, and she's very entertained by it. The different modes provide plenty of variety. However, like another reviewer experienced, the laptop toy is easy to catch baby's hands. My little one slammed the cover down on her hand and screamed. It's too soon to tell if this will be a recurring problem, but we're keeping a close eye on things. Another concern is that the table is so light that it slides around and tips over easily. We're going to have to buy a rubber mat or something similar to make this product safer to use. It's surprising to see so many safety issues, especially some obvious ones that would have been caught in product testing.Want Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Fun with Friends Musical Table Discount?
My almost 10 month old son received this for Christmas from his grandmother. We were all excited about it as he loves to stand up and play. The tabletop activities immediately caught his attention. He loved it. I loved it. I was taking video to share with grandma. Within 5 minutes of it entering the play area, it tipped over on him twice, making him fall backwards with the table on top of him. (video is of first time) Fortunately he did not hit his head, but this toy will not be staying in our home. I don't want my son getting hurt because of the instability of this toy. I will be making contact with Fisher Price tomorrow.

Intex My Baby Float
Also, this product is made of simple vinyl. Hence, leaking phthalates. It would be great if Intex could come up with some product made of (P)EVA so that our kids don't have to absorb chemicals. We took our 4 month old son on his first vacation to a waterpark. He was about 16lbs at the time when we went. I know the float says it's for 1-2 years old or up to 25lbs I believe, but we used it anyways. He is able to sit up on his own, so we thought it would be okay. He absolutely LOVED it! We had a blast because of this thing. It allowed us to keep our hands free, let him kick around under our supervision. We were able to pull him around in the water, it really made our vacation a good time. Other reviews state that the little tabs that you blow the air into pop open, we didn't have a problem. If you secure them they way they are supposed to be, they will not pop open. I would recommend this inexpensive item to anyone going on vacation with a little one! I purchased this as a second float for my toddlers since they each wanted to float in the higher quality one that we have. I figured I'd get a cheap second and that was a mistake. After only using it a couple times the flap between the legs that keeps baby from falling into the water snapped. Thankfully we keep the kids right next to us even while in floaties, because otherwise my child would have gone plummenting under water. Spend a little extra and get something that will last all summer and that you can relax and know your child is safe.

Sassy Sensation Station Suction Toy
pros:
in theory, you can attach to a high chair or bumbo tray and your baby won't be able to knock or throw the toy away
the bright, contrasting colors attract and stimulate your baby
quality construction my daughter can slam it onto a table and it won't break or crack
cons:
in practice, toy detaches very easily from suction cup. Also, my daughter at 4 months was pretty strong and was able to tear the suction cup off of the bumbo tray (one of the most suction-cup friendly surfaces around very smooth). Ruins the entire point of a suction cup toy. She does enjoy chewing the suction cup, I guess maybe that's another pro?
this plays annoying music and tones that you ***cannot*** turn off (you can't even remove the batteries, it's buried somewhere in one of the components). I was originally hoping to use this in a pizzeria or other casual restaurant to help keep my daughter happy while sitting in one spot, but not with this music
there isn't even a volume control. It is SO LOUD.
We haven't had the heart to get rid of this toy, because my daughter does like it. However, we do hide it. We curse whenever we accidentally bump it and get it going feels like we just teleported to a circus.A friend of ours gave us a suction cup toy for my son who just turned three months old. After attaching it to his high chair and seeing how excited he was to play with something while sitting up, I went to find some similar toys. I found this one at Target and figured I'd give it a try even though it said 6+ months on it. He LOVES it. It spins and plays sounds and music with every bat of the hand, it has really started to improve his ability to grasp objects as well. The suction cup works very well on both the high chair tray and the small tray that attaches to his swing. I'm looking forward to buying him several of these types of toys so we can rotate them and keep him entertained.

My baby loves this toy. It has been a lifesaver to put her in the highchair at the dining room table and actually get a chance to eat before my food goes cold. She is 5 months and hasn't been able to pull the suction off. It does come un-suctioned occasionally, but I find if I attached it with a little water right before she uses it it works great. She LOVES to spin the toy, and while I always seem to set the music off, she hasn't quite figured it out yet. When she does accidentally set off she's so happy. I received this toy as a gift and want to recommend it to every mom. I told my husband about the negative reviews its received b/c of the music, his comment was: "As long as she's (the baby) not crying, I could care less what the music sounds like". That about sums it up baby toys make noise, but crying babies make louder, more annoying noises.Read Best Reviews of Sassy Sensation Station Suction Toy Here
I liked the design of this toy and the cute music....until I realized that there's NO way to make it stop. The music is activated by movement/vibrations, and there's no on/off button or any way to remove the battery. So get ready for the thing to start playing music in the middle of the night if you place something next to it or accidentally touch it. Have fun!Sorry for yelling, but it is the most annoying toy ever made. You cannot turn off the sounds, and it is really loud, and it plays following every tiny movement it starts paying even if you so much as walk in the vicinity of the toy. When you give it to your baby, every movement makes it go, so it plays non-stop until you get it from him. There is no cause and effect learning, because the thing never stops. If you make a mistake of giving it to your child in the car or in stroller, be ready to listen to annoying two tunes and two sounds non-stop your entire trip.Friday, December 13, 2013
Buggyguard Retractable Stroller Lock
The only issue that we had was a user issue. I didn't give my husband training on how to unlock it and he left us to get the stroller while my son and I rode Peter Pan for the 5th time. Throughout the ride I kept thinking to myself "please don't let him try to get the lock off." Well he did and he either: hit all the buttons so many times that he broke the mechanism OR changed the code without knowing that he changed the code. Either way I couldn't get the thing unlocked. Luckily for us, Disney came and clipped the wire for us. NOTE TO MOMS: Either don't let your husband unlock it or fully train him on how to unlock it.I'm not the type to write reviews but this one is worth it. The buggyguard stroller lock is long overdue and my husband and I have really enjoyed using ours. It's great for when we go to Disney World to know that our stroller will be there when we return from all the rides. I highly recommend this cute lock to anyone going to Disney or any other park. You'll be glad you have it. Trust us. We will not leave our $400 stroller unattended without the buggyguard. It's easy to put on and off and the peace of mind is invaluable It's also great to lock your bags to it as well. And I plan on using it on my kids bikes when they get older.

I bought this due to all the good reviews and for peace of mind when leaving my stroller unattended in the park/zoo/amusement park. I think that it's overpriced for such a flimsy cable lock. It really looks like it can be cut fairly easily. I've seen bike cable locks thicker than this for half the price! But if we're to assume people don't usually walk around with pliers, it's better than leaving your stroller unlocked. I also wish it was longer. It's only 4 feet long. In the commercials, it shows that you can pull this thing through the back wheels of any stroller to lock the stroller to itself. I have a Baby Jogger City Elite Single Stroller and the cord is too short to go through the back wheels and lock, so I can't even do that. And the most annoying thing, every time I try to lock it, the monkey unlatches from the velcro thing so I have to AGAIN and AGAIN reinsert it into the plastic holder piece, and carefully do this so it doesn't fall out again. It's such a frustrating pain in the butt! The only thing I like about it is that it's retractable, and it offers some peace of mind when I'm with my child -so I'm not constantly looking over my shoulder to check on the stroller. Otherwise, it's a pain and sometimes I feel like not even dealing with it and just leaving the stroller!! :( I'll be purchasing a THICKER, LONGER and CHEAPER bike cable and throwing the Buggyguard in the garbage! We received this product to use at Disney as our stroller had been stolen. When the product arrived it did not work. The creator of the product was very reasonable and quickly sent a replacement. Worked great and perfect for taking to Disney or other high volume areas where your City Stroller may get stolen. Does the job, worth the money, and customer service was excellent.

This was a big hit at my son's party! It is 6 feet tall! Make sure to allow yourself enough time to set it up. In the product picture it looks like it's all one piece. Turns out it actually comes in 5 pieces. The top banner is 3 pieces. Elmo, Cookie Monster and "Happy Birthday" are all their own pieces. The bottom portion comes in 2 large parts. It's pretty easy to line up but does take some time. I would also recommend turning the flash off on your camera to use it for photos, as it does shine and the flash creates a glare. It was about the thickness of a thin tablecloth but worked perfect against a white wall. The kids loved getting their pictures taken next to the characters. I took it down carefully and refolded. Will definitely use again.Thursday, October 31, 2013
Winnie The Pooh Deluxe 2-Sided Plush Jumpsuit Costume
I did have a problem dressing the "head". The way to dress it is to leave the head in the front, and then pull it back, wasn't convenient at all. It was also difficult to take the costume off for the same reason. You need to leave the head in the front and only then you can take the baby out of the costume. Once it's on, that's ok. Good for couple of time use, or maybe for older kids. My daughter didn't like the dressing process. Once it was on, she didn't mind. Oh, we also had a problem closing the zipper to the end, as it is located in the back and so her hair was caught in it. We ended up just leaving it opened.
Also, keep in mind that it is very warm inside the costume, so it is very good for the winter but you would need to take it off inside where the heat is on. My 9-month-old son didn't even mind putting this costume on because it was so soft and plush! The tummy is so cute because it sticks out just perfectly, unlike others I have seen! It was completely adorable on him and he didn't even mind the head part.
The only down fall of this costume was the way it is to be put on and off. It is very awkward and I even worried about the positioning I had to have my son in to do this. He definately didn't like that part!

I bought this costume for my 14 month old. I decided to get 12-18 month size, since she wears anywhere from 12-24 month clothes. When I received it i tried it on her. First it was a little awkward since the zipper is in the back (I bought the piglet costume for a friend, and that zipper was in front). I know it's because the costume has a cute belly, but it really interfered with the head. Once it's on, it's really hard to bring the head over like a hoody. But we were able to do it, and thought it was so cute. The real problem came, however, when we tried to take the costume off. Trying to get the hoody back over her head was really tough and my little girl got really upset because we had to force it. I almost decided to cut out the zipper right then and there to get her out of it. Anyway, maybe I should've gotten a bigger size -but the legs, arms and everything once it was on fit perfectly. In the end I had my mom take out the zipper and put in velcro, and we slit the hoody head and put in some extra fabric. It was a lot of work for a costume that already cost $40+.Read Best Reviews of Winnie The Pooh Deluxe 2-Sided Plush Jumpsuit Costume Here

VTech - 3 - In - 1 Smart Wheels
I do have to say that the one we have is slightly different than the one pictured here. The seat on the one we have is longer and the accessories on the "dash" are placed differently. You may be able to see the differences in the "Customer Images" that I submitted...Got this on sale at Amazon for. Great deal. Both of my kids love it.
This toy is packed with lots of little functions not mentioned in the manual. For example, one function sings the ABC song and another says the ABC's in ascending order as you turn the wheel. There are three electronic modes, and the shifter and steering wheel works differently based on the modes.
I gave it a 4 star because it was built with lighter plastic, making it easy to tilt over when a small infant (over 25lbs) leans on it. The steering wheel should be padded more for infant comfort. The four supporting wheels should be more padded so it wont' scratch the tile/hardwood floors. The wheels don't move well, so don't expect kids be able to ride it like a tricycle. I put this on a carpet surface and into the Rocker, so my two kids can sit, rock, and play.
I wish the manufacturer will spend a few more dollars to use heavier material.

This toy is entertaining for all my children. The more they play with it the more they discover it does.Do not consider it a riding toy. It really doesn't ride well. Who needs a riding computer anyway?
Highly recommended for hours of entertainment.I searched on the internet for my son's first riding toy for Christmas. He was 10 months at the time. Ratings were good so I looked at the actual product in a local store. On first glance in the box it looked cheap. Decided not to get it. Out of despiration closer to Christmas I bought it and I am soooo glad I did. It is a great toy!!! As from previous reviews, when it is in the riding mode, it doesn't function well with rolling. However, when the bottom is converted in the rocking mode, my son sat and played for long periods of time. He couldn't walk by it without sitting on it even for a few seconds. As for construction, toys for this age group are grosely over priced. You are getting what you pay for and construction was very acceptable for age range. After just a few trys my 10 month old was able to get on and off without any problem. Had more functions than I realized when making the decision to buy. I would buy again and recommend to others!I can hardly get him to play with anything else. He loves to sit on it and straddle the seat and stand on the side rails. He will sit and play on this toy for hours... being so little I have to sit on the floor and hold him, but he's learning balance, he figured out that he can turn the steering wheel and make it sing the alphabet. He loves getting on and off it. He really gets excited on it, banging away at all the buttons. I can't wait until he's big enough that I can turn the rocking base around to the wheels and let him ride on it. I'm so glad I bought this when it was on special. I only regret not getting a few more for children of friends.
