I was very disappointed with this item. Eventhough it's a cute huggable toy I also bought it because my 18 month old loves the "I Love You" song.This only plays one line from the song even after you pull the battery protector card out. I thought that it would play the full song once it was out of demo mode but I was wrong. If you want a cuddly Barney for your child this one is good but don't expect it to play any of the full song despite the reviews.

I bought the hearts barney for my daughter for her birthday and I can't wait to give it to her. I know she is going to love it. I think the cost of this toy was a litte pricy but since it was so hard for me to find a barney toy for her, it was well worth the money. The description of this toy was extremely accurate and I have no complaints; it was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Amazing Plush!

I ordered this toy for my 19 month old granddaughter who loves Barney. When it arrived she was here and so excited! The toy is just the right size and when you squeeze it's hand it sings "I Love You" and a couple other songs. I highly recommend it for any one who has a child that just loves Barney. I feel it is appropriate for a child of 18 months or older.

Be careful to order the "hearts" barney and not the "stars" barney if you want the "I Love You" song as they are two different toys. As a grandmother I am very pleased with this Barney. It also lights up on it's "hearts" while singing the song.

This looks smaller than the toy boxes but it's definetly better to get rid of the clutter and help your little one find his toys. You can categorize the toys and find them easier later. They get lost in toy chests, especially the little toys. My daughter's room is pretty small and I use it as a guest room too, I stacked them up when I need to open the sofa bed. It's also very good quality construction and stain. Very durable to every kind of toddler abuse!

I don't really think this is worth the $80 I spent on it. It chips and dents easily and the feet fall off the front exposing sharp pins. It is difficult to put the feet back on the front of the boxes without them coming loose again so I now leave them off so my kids don't poke themselves. It looks odd without the feet on the lion but it will have to look that way for safety reasons. If it was half the price I wouldn't recommend it either. It is cute to look at but that's about it. It doesn't hold much (we have little people cars in it and not much else.) It was cute for a short time, but not practical and not worth the price tag placed on it.

Rubie's Costume Deluxe Shark Romper Costume

I ordered this costume for my baby who will be 10 months old for Halloween but already wears size 18m at 8 months old. The description of the costume in the search results says it is size 2-4, but there are buttons that allow you to select size 0-6 months, 6-12 months, or 12-24 months. I figured a size 12-24 months would be perfect for my baby this year, and probably still fit him next year. What arrived was a size 2-4T costume. This is okay, because I will be able to use it in the future, but it is not the size I thought I ordered so be aware when you are ordering that you may get a size 2-4T regardless of the size you specify.

The costume looks cute, and although it's too big for my baby this year it will be a fun costume next year.

Fisher-Price Roll-a-Rounds: Touch 'N Tickle Rounds

I wanted to buy balls for my 9 month old. I went crazy and bought all the Fisher Price "roll arounds". In that case save your money. You do not need all of them, your baby won't miss anything if she only gets one set. that being said these are probably the best buy of the all. she likes the colorful tags and the bumpy texture on them. There is one that. has different panels of materials that she hasn't really discovered yet. My baby plays with them off and on but they aren't her favorite. I think I find them more interesting than she does. They are made of very hard plastic. If she falls or lays on them they of course aren't very comfortable. I thought at firs Ii would include them in her ball pit. I quickly changed my mind when she hit me on the side of the face and it hurt quite a bit! I wouldn't want the kids to throw them at each other or fall on them. She likes to put them in her mouth. I'm sure they each feels different . They each have different textures. I think when she starts to roll them around she'll find the more interesting and fun to play with. A couple of them in this set make a chime noise when they are rolled or shook. I wouldn't say they are a waste of money and not to buy them. I just thought she'd be more entertained then she is. However, she might when she gets older.

I have a very physical learning 1 year old. He's stimulated by all different textures and noises. These balls are great and keep him busy for a while. They are probably best for a child in the 6 month-12 month range, but my 12 month old is getting a lot of use out of them.

My First Scribbler, Pink

My 1.5 yr old baby likes to scribble with a pen so we got her this to practice in a more safe (and clean) way. The product looked good on website, but when we got it the figures were very cute but very hard for her to figure out how to use them as drawing instruments!

She bangs them on the board but it does not leave a mark unless the instruments bottoms are pressed directly against the board. They also require quite a bit of pressure for leave a decent mark.

My granddaughters had an Etch-a-Sketch, so I bought this as a second one to avoid arguments. It is not nearly as good as the one they already had. The drawing is not dark and requires lots of pressure, and the screen does not clear completely. Very disappointed.

I purchased this for my daughter, who is 15 months old. The characters are easy for her to grip as she scribbles away on the board. They are difficult to get in and out of their holders though, even for me. Also the board seems to be very cheaply made, with thin plastic and a screen that doesn't entirely erase the magnetic sand unless you slide the erasing piece (heart) over several times until the screen clears. I think there must be similiar products made that are of better quality. I know my daughter is young, but I used it myself and am a little disappointed in the quality.

Great soft blocks for a little one. Different sounds, textures, colors, and pictures. The only negative was that I was expecting wooden wheels like in the photo, but ours came with plastic Orange wheels. Not as cute, but the little one doesn't notice and has just as much fun with them. Good toy.

I really like these blocks for an infant. The baby is only 6 months old and tumbles over her toys every once in a while, so it's great that these blocks are soft. Each block makes a different noise when shaken, they have different texture material that the baby can handle, they crinckle, and can be assembled into 3 pictures. Very neat and have lots of room for exploring for an infant. The pull-along cart is a nice bonus.

Bright Starts Having a Ball Cluck and Learn Barn

My grandson picked this out at the store just before he turned one. Now it is 3 months later and he still loves it. Once he learned not to block the hole on top with his other hand, he started putting all kinds of things in the chicken to see what would make it through. Sure the balls that came with it make it through, but so do the balls from his other toys, the pieces from his sorting toy, most of the characters from his Noah's ark toy, his pacifier, etc. Great fun. And the buttons on the front light up and play music. What more could a kid ask for?

There's a seperate small cheap Chinese device in the middle of the product. I've plugged it out and tried to figure out how it works. But in order to make it work you have to hit it hard (I mean very hard). And It does not work when you put that device into the toy.

In order to make it operate, you have to bang it very hard to the ground..

My daughter loves this toy now at 6 months and I can see it growing to be even more fun for her in the next few months since she hasn't even tried to pull the head out of the ball. It features a magnetic hand that she loves to pull away from the lady bug over and over. She also likes to play with the attached rattle and there is a crinkle flower she enjoys as well.

There are some things that would interest a baby such as rings to slide, a crinkle flower, and a magnetic hand. The ball also has a cute face that vibrates when you pull it out. It does have some flaws unfortunately. The ball is supposed to make sounds, but it only does so when it is thrown or hit very hard. It isn't very sensitive to touch I guess. The head is also very hard to pull out.

We get our children a stuffed animal from TRU each year for Christmas. Last year we waited until the last minute, and the selection of "nicer" stuffed animals was horrible. Wandering around the store, we found these. Son (6 yr) got a panda and daughter (8 yr) got a polar bear. They both LOVE them! They have watched the BBC documentary that came with the toys several times, and proceeded to repeat many facts to me about each bear. My son sleeps w/ his panda every night w/out fail, therefore it has been machine washed several times in the last 6 months and has held up just fine.

This toy is rated by the manufacturer for 2 and up. It contains a medium sized stuffed panda and a 22 minute DVD documentary. My 3 1/2 year old selected this item as a treat. We were both disappointed. The stuffed panda is of moderate quality and is certainly not worth even $15. The documentary on the DVD was not appropriate for this age group. It is an old BBC documentary on pandas that has that typical monotone narrator voice. That would have been fine except topics covered include mating, inbreeding, poachers, and how when twins are born one typically dies because the mother will not nurse them. It was a very boring video for my daughter but even she started asking questions that I would have preferred not to answer at 3 1/2. I would highly recommend selecting a higher quality stuffed panda with the money and skipping the DVD.

This toy is for educational purposes. I would let the children watch only segments of the video and not in its entirity. The stuffed animal is a good reading buddy because it is washable. It is worth what I paid for it becasue of its educational purpose.

Step2 Push Around Buggy (Pink)

This toy is a lifesaver for me. We got it for our 10 month old as she learned to crawl and believe it or not, it helped her to walk! She not only crawls up to it every morning but can now hoist herself up and into the sturdy seat with very little help! She is so attached to it I think it has become her very favorite toy. Construction is excellent on this; the chubby wheels are solid and roll easily in the street or around the house, even on thick carpeting. The long handle makes it a cinch for mom and dad to push and the little storage compartment in front is perfect for a little bottle, your keys if you're just taking a quick stroll, or even a quick diaper change. The seat is just the right width to keep tiny tushies secure, and the adjustable seatbelt fits pefectly. If your child isn't able to completely support themselves sitting upright, then they're not ready for this buggy just yet, but once they can sit alone, the seatbelt and comfy foot rest is perfect. Colors are very appealing too, and the removable handle makes storage convenient. I would recommend this to any parent who loves to spend time outdoors without a stroller. And if you have room in the house, it's fun indoors too.

Our daughter is more than 2-yrs-old and she has had this toy since she was 9-month-old and still loves it. We used it so much the 1st year we had it that two of the tires cracked. When used outside, this ride-on toy is fairly loud but once the tires cracked, it became even louder. So I e-mailed the Step 2 company asking how I could go about purchasing new tires and without even being told, I received a package in the mail from Step 2 (via UPS) and enclosed were 2 brand new tires! Absolutely free. They didn't even ask me to pay for shipping or proof of purchase or anything! They were easy to replace and we have puts lots more miles on those new tires. We still love this toy as much as our daughter.

We bought this car for my daughter for her 1st Birthday. She loves it. She always wants to go for a ride around the house/block in it. I purchased this car over many others becuase it has a floor for her to put her feet on, and it also has the "saftey belt" to keep her from climbing out. She still little and I was nervous putting her in a car without these features. It is very light and easy to move around. This car is a big hit in our house. Gund Baby Spunky Plush Puppy Toy, Small, Pink

This is the first review I have ever posted on Amazon.com. When my daughter was born, my then boss brought this for our newborn daughter days after her birth. On his arrival, I was in the middle of dealing with my first diaper malfunction. We joked that I would lovingly call the puppy PP a reference both to the Pink Puppy as well as the diaper malfunction. I had no idea that 6 years later we would still be hearing daily references to PP. After hearing the story of PP's arrival many times, our daughter decided to legally change it's name to Grace (she actually asked if there was anything official she needed to do...). Anyway, I wish there were words to describe the amount of love and comfort this has brought to our little girl over the years. We have several times tried to wein her from this toy to no avail, but have decided to let nature take it's course.

As for quality... the barker stopped working about 18 months after her arrival... (This was a blessing if you ask me She has also been re-stuffed at least three times, but I would not hesitate to buy this for another newborn girl anytime soon. I never would have thought that 6 years later I could find the same stuffed dog, but sure enough this is the same dog, and the name matches the tag on it's back 'Baby Gund Spunky'. She'll always be a part of our memories of this time in life.

My second daughter is super attached to this toy and she sleeps with it all the time. We first got one when I had my first daughter 4 years ago. It was very soft and cute the quality was much better then the one I recently bought. However, 2 years later, we lost it and I ordered it online since that was the only place I found it. I was surprised to see that the quality went down I had to stitch it up in a couple places within the first couple weeks we got it. I was very disappointed. I'll probably have to buys another one because she is so attached to it and we only have one. But I did not think it is worth the price.

My daughter loves this dog, and won't go to sleep without him. I bought a half dozen to have as back up in case we lose one. The barking is a little obnoxious, but she forgets that he 'talks' so we don't hear it too often.

Swimways Baby Spring Float Activity Center with Canopy

Okay, forget the "activity center"....that thing just gets in the way of interacting with the child. Throw away the sponge-like floating toys that come with the activity center....they just get pieces bitten off by the child. Now, enjoy the floating ring, put the shade on and pop the kid inside. Fun, fun, fun. You can spin her/him, take trips around the pool zoom, zoom and have both arms free to wipe away the water drips and drops as others splash around. A big hit at our house. I'm just sorry the visit was so short and our 11-month-old granddaughter had to go back home.

I love this float. The very first time I used it, I got so many compliments and my son loves it. He's 4 mos old and 16.5 lbs and fits in it fine. The canopy is easy to use and the snaps on it can be used to dangle his ring-a-links. While we were swimming, he was so comfy in the float, he actually fell asleep reclined back. I'd definitely recommend this product.

My 5 1/2 month old baby is very fair skinned. This product was perfect for "swimming" in Grandma's pool. There are two snaps on either side of the toy so that the canopy can be adjusted to the direction of the sunlight.

The attached toys make this toy a lot more interesting than the $14.99 version sold at a big box retailer.

None of the other reviewers seemed to have sizing issues, but I did. We took this on a trip to disney (I liked the fact that these spring floats fold really small when deflated for travel/packing) when baby was 7 months. The mesh seat was so deep, and the opening so large that it just swallowed him. The water level was bobbing over his shoulders.

I put it away and tried again now that baby is a month older and it's still too big. He's average in size and weight. Also, the valve stems pop open on the outer ring constantly causing a loss of air. Since it's barely keeping my baby above water fully inflated, this thing is basically useless. I wish they still made the heavy duty plastic/styrofoam dolphin and airplane floats. Swimways, are you listening? Those things were great!

I had a version by this same manufacturer that I used for my daughter who is now 4, so I really wasn't expecting these issues. At any rate, the one for my daughter was round vs. this one which is oblong, and the seat was not as deep on the older one. I really wanted one with a canopy to keep baby out of the sun but this one just isn't it, and it certainly isn't worth the price quoted here. If you are going to give this a try, definitely price-shop!

This has to be the best baby product we have ever purchased! She is totally comfortable in the pool and doesn't want to get out. Never does she feel scared and its SO nice to be in the pool with baby and not have to keep her afloat. Its so fun to enjoy pool time with her and be totally secure knowing she is safe and happy.

The big plus is living in AZ she is safe from the sun under the little Cover.

Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Dunk 'n Cheer Basketball

Our 8 month old loves to pull down on the hoop to hear the crowd cheer. He also likes pulling down the basketball on the side, twirling the little boy on the right and spinning the numbers on the top. Since he is presently a crawler / stander, these are the key features for him.

We love the feature that the hoop can be raised or dropped; it allows our son to play with the features he enjoys without falling over. We love to try to make baskets from across the room which makes him laugh, a little tough on the ego though.

Fisher-Price's Dunk'n Cheer Basketball is a wonderful little toy for your youngster. If your child is crawling or walking successfully, this basketball goal is accessible to both of them. My twelve month old son enjoys dunking the balls in order to see the crowd "jump" and cheer. He also enjoys the sliding basketball on the backboard, the spinning score wheels at the top of the backboard and the mini-dunker on the side as well. This toy comes with two basketballs and a very sturdy basket and net. It's also adjustable so whenever your child gets a little taller, so can this toy.

This toy is a great idea, teaching a child to put a ball in the basket. Unfortunately the mechanism does not work as one would imagine. The cheering and music is activated by pushing down on the rim, not by anything triggered by the ball going into the basket. As a result, a succesful attemp where the child gets "nothin but net" is not "rewarded". However a child rapidly learns that there is no need to put the ball through the hoop, they can just bang on the rim and it cheers and plays music. I think this is a design flaw -probably done for cost.

Bought this for my 1 yr old granddaughter & it is such fun. My only complaint is that it is not sturdy enough for a new walker to hold onto & stand up beside it w/out it toppling over. Otherwise, a great fun gift.
