Playgo Musical Spinning Wheel

Playgo Musical Spinning WheelFirst one was a gift, bought this one to replace it when the grownups broke it (over-winding). This is a great toy for kids who are crawling: the smooth rolling action (it's basically a wind-up music box wrapped around an axle) encourages them to go after it, and one side has a mirror which my daughter finds hilarious. I like that's it's not digital noise, and that the sound does wind itself down; the major drawback being that the theme to the "Mickey Mouse Club" is the only tune it plinks out.

This is my grandson's favorite toy! He is only 2 months old and loves to look at himself in the mirror during tummy time. The wind up music plays for several minutes (a diaper change) which is nice since I will have to wind it for him until he can do it himself. It can be wound up in either direction. He is already manipulting the colored beads. The toy is very well made. I am sure he will enjoy it even more when he starts crawling and can roll it. Best of all.........NO batteries.

TRY-ANGLE by Discovery Toys

TRY-ANGLE by Discovery ToysI used to sell Discovery Toys through home parties, so was very pleased to see Amazon carry some of the Discovery Toys. This is one that I had not seen before. I purchased this for my granddaughter who is 5 months old and the toy did not disappoint. It is well made and will grow with her. At this point she is fascinated by the mirror and the spinning tabs, but she will grow into the other areas, such as the gears. The toy can be configured in many ways to accommodate the child in a sitting or laying position. An excellent toy I would highly recommend it.

iPlay Tub Boats

iPlay Tub BoatsI'm very pleased wit this toy. It is very well made, the boats do float indeed. The magnets are strong enough to hold the set together when riding on the floor. They've been thrown of the hard surface few times and that didn't harm them at all. Good buy.

My daughter received this toy for her first birthday. She loved playing with the toy, pushing the boats and attaching the magnets. Ten minutes into playing, one of the boats came apart and my daughter put a small clear plastic internal boat piece in her mouth. It was the first toy we've had that has broken, so one star for these boats.

Buy iPlay Tub Boats Now

I bought these specifically for the bath tub and they are my sons new favorite toy.

The toys aren't too big and the magnets aren't too strong that he can't pull them apart and he loves to try to make the clicking or squeaking noises with the moving parts. The only negative is that the tugboat with the plunger takes a moment to start squeaking when it is wet.

This toy is great fun in the tub! The boats magnetically link, so they make a train, and will find one another in the tub and link up after being separated. Each boat has some sort of lever or button, and the colors are bright and appealing. Now that my son is older, he likes to line the boats up on the edge of the tub, and their little wheels allow them to travel happily on the edge of tub "road." Overall a wonderful toy!

Nature's Purest Pure Love Jingle Ball

Nature's Purest Pure Love Jingle BallOur baby is on the way, so I have yet to see how the baby will like it. I, however, think it is beautifully made and the "jingle" is a pleasing tone that sounds more like a wind chime. I am thankful to find sweet, gender neutral items, as we don't yet know what we are having. This would make a great gift for any baby,

Especially for Baby 6 Piece Soft Blocks Set

Especially for Baby 6 Piece Soft Blocks SetGreat for stacking so he can knock them over, keeps tummy time interesting.

Also when he was still a wobbly sitter I wasn't afraid of him falling onto these (as opposed to wooden blocks)

I also let him carry one around in his carseat and he uses it as an awesome teether!

Only wish there were more in the pack.

Wonderworld Puppy Car

Wonderworld Puppy CarThe Wonderworld Puppy Car looks very cute and bounces gently when it moves, which is fun, but the wood for the product is quite rough in spots. My baby at first liked chewing on this toy. One day she was chewing the car and started crying. After that she stopped chewing on it. My best guess is that she discovered one of these unpleasant rough spots in the wood. I wish that the body of the car was made a little better. It is also smaller than might be obvious by the photo, only a little larger than the palm of one's hand.

K's Kids I Am the Boss

K's Kids I Am the BossI bought this as a Christmas present for my 7 month old son and he absolutely loves it. He will sit in the dinaosaur and kick the balls around, a great way to learn balance while sitting and kicking. I'd say the best toy we own. When we take it to go we throw other toys in such as blocks and rattles and he's set. Even our friends 18m and 3y old couldn't resist playing with it.

The only think you might want to know that other people haven't mentioned is that the included balls are soft and tend to dent. they are not like the hard balls in a ball pit at chuck-e-cheese. I consider this a good thing as they are safer for babies or toddlers when they fall on them.

Great Product.

Buy K's Kids I Am the Boss Now

This was my grandson's favorite birthday present. I had thought about getting it for Christmas and I wish I had (he was 6 months then). He loves diving into the balls, passing them out, and putting them back in. He can learn counting and colors with the balls. It went with them when they went on vacation this summer. Picking up the balls can be tedious and my daughter threatens to send it home with me! At least it doesn't sing or make noise!

This colorful, well-made dinasour continues to bring laughs and excitement to my 9 month old grandson. We toss the balls out, we toss the balls in! We have lots of fun and I would highly recommend this toy.

Want K's Kids I Am the Boss Discount?

The product showed up perfectly just as expected and the amount of balls it comes with is perfect. I got this for my nephew for his 1st BDay because he's obsessed with balls and I thought going this route instead of a full on ball pit would keep my brother in law from coming after me! well the balls still get all over the floor but he has fun popping them in and out of the lil holes on the sides. I would say it's more for younger babies though... it only holds his attention for a few mins and then he's over it and it's not the whole 'surrounded by balls' effect, but the toy does its job and is everything it claims to be.

Safety 1st Sounds n Lights Discovery Walker, Dino

Safety 1st Sounds n Lights Discovery Walker, DinoMy son loves this walker. It took him a day or so to get the idea and start moving his feet, but now he is zipping around our house.

I like that the toys can swing out, which leaves you with a fairly good sized tray for snacks. The tray is also deep enough that my son can move his cereal around without knocking it out of the tray. The toys are ok. They don't seem to be super high quality, but they provide a little bit of extra stimulation. Most of the appeal, though, seems to be in the freedom that it provides for my son.

The safety grips on the bottom of the walker seem to work well. For example, the walker won't go over our flooring thresholds because they are too high. However, I would note that we only have hard surface flooring in our home, and we don't have any stairs.

*Update 12/14/10* My son is 11 months now, and he still enjoys his walker. However, there is no seatbelt in the walker, and he has figured out that if he grabs onto things, then he can pull himself up to stand in (or on) the walker. This has become a big safety issue, so I wanted to note the lack of a seatbelt for other parents with climbers (or future climbers).

Like any first time parents, we wanted a walker for our baby in hopes he'll learn to walk soon. It was hard to decide on one as there was no reference on what the minimum height should be and I was worried that our boy is still too early for a walker. So for your reference, our baby is about 3.5 months, and 2 feet tall when we purchased this walker. With the lowest setting, he is still not able to reach the ground. However, we were able to make some adjustments to it to make it lowered so that his feet can now reach the ground and he is able to push himself backwards.

The toys on the tray are ok. I thought they were a bit simple and not very entertaining: the bear at the end flashes a red light and plays 3 different sounds, the palm tree has rotating mirrors, the dinosaur turns and clicks, the yellow ball spins with tiny balls inside so it also makes noise, and a red plastic toy tied to the tray and our boy ends up just putting it in his mouth. I liked how the toys has its own tray and you are able to move them to the side so you can use the tray for snacks or other toys.

The only thing we didn't like about this walker is the design of the seat. The two holes for his legs are way in front where his legs dangle instead of allowing him to stand up and move freely. I hope they will reconsider the design to either make the leg holes wider or move it to the middle of the seat more.

Overall, this is walker is affordable, simple to use and set up, slides effortlessly on hardwood floor, and great for travel as the seat can be lowered to flatten. Also, the cloth seat is removable for washing when it gets soiled. It's a good buy!

Buy Safety 1st Sounds n Lights Discovery Walker, Dino Now

Originally, I gave this walker only 2 stars stating "We have a 7 1/2 month old baby girl who is starting to pull up and can stand on her own...The leg holes in the seat are at the front instead of the middle, forcing the baby into a sitting, rather than standing position. My baby girl will be walking on her own without the need for a walker by the time that she's tall enough to touch the floor while sitting in this product."

What I didn't realize a week ago is that she had to learn how to stand up in the walker instead of use the seat, and that the walker is not too tall for her (she's between 26 and 27 inches tall). She's still not quite walking, but the walker will allow her to do so when she figures it out. While this design was frustrating at first, it allows your child to sit when they tire of standing. After understanding how the seat works, I consider it an innovation rather than a shortcoming. The way the two sections of toys swivel out of the way to reveal a tray underneath is pretty neat as well.

I stand by my original statement, "The walker is a great value, well constructed, and the toys are great."

I bought this for my almost 4 month son who has been really trying to stand and tensing his legs. I pondered a stationary exersaucer vs. walker. I decided on this walker because it got a couple of good reviews and I wanted something that would fit two purposes, stationary entertainment and walking practice when he is older. My son is bigbut his feet are a few inches from the floor. That's fine with me since I don't want him moving in it yet, anyway. I folded up a blanket and put it under his feet so there won't be too much pressure on his bottom in the seat. He is happy and has been trying to explore the little toys. I would reccommend this walker.

Want Safety 1st Sounds n Lights Discovery Walker, Dino Discount?

I read the reviews before I bought it. It said that there old enough baby feet were no where near touching floor. The lowest adjustment was too high. I ignored it since my granson is tall for his age. He is now 8 mos old and his feet dangle. Should have listened. This manuf needs to check and compare heights. Also seat leg cutouts are quite stiff and when baby sits in it for 15 mins (since he cant go anywhere) thighs are red. Also the light up dinosaur lights up only half the time. I would not recommend this walker at all. Should have returned it..

Gund Lil Fuzzy Plush Bear

Gund Fuzzy Chocolate 13.5' Bear PlushI purchased this bear for my 20 month old son and it has been a favorite since. "Bear" goes with him EVERYWHERE. Bear has been great for my son's sense of security and a true best friend. My son would cry whenever we dropped him off at the church nursery until he began taking bear with him, since then he walks right in carrying bear and takes bear to play with the trains or go down the slide. We even use bear to teach behavior lessons we want our son to learn, he takes it well since he feels he isn't the one being corrected (he's very stubborn). "Please tell Bear he needs to sit on his bottom so he won't fall and get hurt!" Since bear goes everywhere with our son, he gets sweated on while sleeping, gets dragged through the garden and swingset, dragged through plates of food, etc. Bear sometimes smells more like a monkey so we wash him at least twice a week (I have to wait for my son to fall asleep at night, sneak in and kidnap bear and hope and pray my son doesn't wake up during the night before bear is dry enough to replace). I put him in the washer then take him out and let him air dry overnight. He's held up great so far (we've had him for two months now) but I am buying two replacements in case he doesn't hold up much longer or we lose him. My son carries this bear everywhere and gives him about 100 kisses each day. He would be so sad if he ever lost his best bear friend. There are other animals available too. My daughter has the white bunny. I would think any kid would enjoy this but it is just perfect for a toddler to handle.

Our now 16-month-old son received this bear when he was born and it's been with him ever since. He holds the bear by the ear and sucks his thumb. Unfortunately the stitching that attaches the nose to the face has come undone (and I have resown it) and the fur on the bear is no longer fuzzy from all the washings. Now the stitching around the neck is loose and the ears may not last much longer. It is a cute bear, but when I work in a replacement, it will be a similar-looking bear from Jellycat, since our 3-year-old has one from that company and it is much more durable.

KNOBBY TEXTURE CHEWY TUBE GREEN

KNOBBY TEXTURE CHEWY TUBE GREENThis is my son's second favorite chew. (He prefers the P-shaped chew.) I would give this one five stars, but it can be used as a whistle by very curious kids, and is therefore a little annoying at times. :) Otherwise, great product.

We got this as a gift from our sons speech pathologist, and have been using it now for nearly 2 years. Its easy to clean, and never seems to show any wear. We use it for oral motor stimulation, and also to keep him from chewing on more dangerous things. At first the nubbies caused him to gag, but as he has progressed he now tolerates it very well.

Of all of the Christmas presents for my 8 month old, this is his favorite. He's teething and will chew on this for 30 minutes at a time. It is smaller than I expected. It is the size of my palm, not my whole hand. It is easy for my baby (with low muscle tone) to hold on to this and yet it is big enough that he can't gag himself with it as he does some other toys. He enjoys picking at the nubs on the handle. A really great product!

Want KNOBBY TEXTURE CHEWY TUBE GREEN Discount?

Our 5 year old son's Occupational Therapist recommended a "chewy" as we call them, when we told her that he had been biting on his blanket when going to sleep at night. She sent him home with a Nuk Brush, which he loved but destroyed the first night. While researching a more durable product, I saw that parents of aggressive chewers indicated that another product, the Chew Stixx Oral Chew was good for older children. Not sure what our son would prefer, we decided to also purchase the Knobby Texture Chewy Tube Green, The two products are quite different in their firmness, but our son uses them equally. I think the softer, collapsible tubes of the Knobby might be a nice alternative when the firmer, solid arms of the Chew Stixx provide too much resistance.

Be aware that the Knobby Chewy Tube Green has hollow tubes that can collect saliva. I was concerned that this would get messy, but actually I've only noticed it drip saliva once. After 2 weeks of use every night at bedtime, and sporadically during the day, both products look nearly new. In the end, I think purchasing both products was a good decision for our little guy.

PlanToys Roller

PlanToys RollerI love the idea of this simple toy for babies, but was horrified when mine fell apart during its first day of use. The six side pieces and ball present serious choking hazards when the toy doesn't stay together. We were able to repair it with some gorilla glue, but buyer beware!

Toy is Ok...much, much smaller than it looked in the picture...no dimensions. It is smaller than a baseball. We thought it would be somewhat larger.

Buy PlanToys Roller Now

Our son started playing with my husband's toy car (metal, with moving parts, not appropriate for baby), so we ordered this toy as a substitute. It's great very colorful with a ball inside so it makes noise as it rolls. The ball also helps to make the toy roll smoothly across a flat surface.

My only quibble is that the toy is about the size of a plum. From the picture I expected something larger, so I was pretty shocked at this tiny little thing that came out of the box. however, our son can get his hands around it, and it rolls really well, and he likes it. So the size is not that important as long as we keep our eyes on it. That thing could go missing under the sofa in nothing flat!

Read Best Reviews of PlanToys Roller Here

We love plan toys. We have many of their toys and my kids (5yr, 3yr, and 7mth) really love playing with them. This toy was great for my first son but my 7mth old got his fingers stuck in the space between the colored slats. I had to pull pretty hard to get them out and he had crimps in his fingers after I pulled them out. I thought maybe it was a fluke since it had never happened before with my other son, so I didn't throw it away.

He ended up grabbing it again a few days later and got 2 fingers and his thumb stuck that time! He was shaking his little hand and it wouldn't come off. So, I guess it wasn't a fluke.

I would not recommend this toy. However, I called Plan Toys and they were really nice and are sending me a different product to replace this one.

My son received this from our registry for Christmas. I was surprised at the size. I thought it was going to be bigger, but it is the perfect size for little hands to grasp. He was 2 months old at the time, so he didn't show much interest right away, but a few months later, this became a favorite of his to play with. Now he is 8 months old, and he loves to hold it with one hand and shake it and pass it to the other hand. We also roll it back and forth to each other. I turn it and point to the colors and tell him what they are. Plan Toys is such a great company. I feel completely safe when I see him gnawing on it, knowing it is non-toxic and eco-friendly. We haven't had any problems with durability. Will definitely buy more Plan Toys in the future.

Disney Pooh Certified Organic Plush

Disney Pooh Certified Organic PlushThis is a great stuffed animal. My daughter received all four of them as birthday gifts from her grandparents. She loves them. But, they all have rattles somewhere inside of them. I suppose that I am kind of old fashioned. I like stuffed animals because they do not make noise. Alas, all of these do. If I had been aware of this, I would have suggested different versions of the Pooh characters.

I wish the filling was also organic but I love that this Pooh is organic and washable. Pooh goes everywhere with us, eats with us, etc. so it's great to be able to through him in the washing machine.

I bought this at a store for my 2.5 year old daughter, just days after seeing the movie for the first time. She noticed it, and yelled "Pooh Bear"! I could not resist. I felt like it was very familiar looking, the packaging. I immediately looked for the brand and was happy to see that it was by Miyim. I bought my 7 month old son several toys by this brand. Yes, I know the brand is from China and their products are made there. But what isn't these days? Anyways, this brand is the only one I support from China, because there material is organic, and it is near impossible to find organic in a stuff toy that my daughter would enjoy. She has not let go of it since we bought it for her two days ago. It has such a sweet old world, faded vintage look to the colors. She will have it forever. It is a timeless plush toy and I am so glad that we got it for her. As she grows more into the film and the characters I intend on getting her all of the characters. Love it!

My 4-year-old son has a Miyim bear that he loves. He's into Pooh now, the chapter books. Thought he'd enjoy the Pooh and Tigger, but the bell inside the toys is not only annoying, but makes the toy very babyish--though I don't know any baby that could nap listening to it. Why, Miyim, why wreck an otherwise great toy? Not sure if I'm going to do surgery and cut the bells out (though I can feel they are quite large) or return them. They were supposed to be Christmas gifts.

Want Disney Pooh Certified Organic Plush Discount?

Yes, there is a "rattle", but it is not loud or annoying. It is more of a light tinkling. I love that it's organic since my son sucks the ears. This is his lovey in his crib and when I put him down for his naps or at night he immediately rolls to his side and hugs his Pooh! It's light enough for a baby to maneuver but solid enought that I'm not worried about leaving it in his crib while he's sleeping. Plus the tinkling is nice to hear over the monitor to let me know he's awake!

Blossoms Pacifier Chain by Haba

Blossoms Pacifier Chain by HabaIt really is! I like Haba products, but I had to return this one. The clip is not easy to use and the whole thing is just too big :(

This product is adorable. Baby loves to chew on it and we don't have to worry about plastics. She likes chewing on the toy more than the pacifier! We like it because we've been misplacing the paci around the house and this makes it hard to miss. We don't even have to clip it on, it's not going anywhere because it's nice and bright and big. But I do like the clip design.

Buy Blossoms Pacifier Chain by Haba Now

The design is very adorable and hard to be misplaced. However, the whole chain is quite big. I bought some soothie pacifiers and the hole is way too small to loop the chain in. I managed to looped it in but the thought of removing it..it was just eaier to leave it on that specific pacifier. It works good on other pacifiers such as NUK, Playtex binky, ect... Also because it is big and bulky, sometimes the clip cannot stay put so I would recommend to buy it for your baby once he/she can hold on to it.

Haba Trioli Clutching toy

Haba Trioli Clutching toyWe received this teething toy a couple weeks ago. It had a fairly small crack on the green wooden knob. I didn't think it was a problem at the time, but it has become a fairly big crack already. I should've sent it back immediately, but I just didn't get around to it! My baby really likes this toy, but I'm going to toss it because I don't want her to split the green knob and choke on the loose piece!

Thanks for a shoddy toy, Haba.

Great wooden toy. I only purchase wood or other natural toys for my little one. This is one of her favorites. Well-constructed, good color, and soft wood. Easy to grasp too.

We absolutely love anything made by Haba. They make quality baby toys and always use non-toxic paint. We bought this for our friends 6 month old baby boy. Having first hand experience with plastic teething rings (which often don't stay in the mouth long enough to be effective), we opted for this one because of the colored balls that will get and keep a baby's attention. He loves chewing on this and his little hands are able to get perfectly around the ring. Only con is that it does kinda look like he's got baby bear-knuckles =)

Sesame Street Baby Purse Playset

Sesame Street Baby Purse PlaysetThis is a really great toy and we were excited to give it to our daughter at her first birthday. The only drawback is she can't open the purse by herself. You have to push the handle very hard towards the back to get it to open. It took our three year old quite a while to do it and sometimes she can't and has to ask us for help. We had a similar problem with the Sesame Purse that was made a few years ago. They need to redesign the purse so that is is easy to open. It could possiby be a heavy duty cloth bag with velcro closure or something along that line. The toys inside are great so we generally leave them out of the purse for her to play with.

We bought this toy to try to occupy our 18 month old on a long plane trip. It worked,... at least for a while. The plastic purse contain several items including lipstick, keys, cell phone, change purse and others. Our daughter does enjoy playing with this although she prefers toys that do something (come part, make noise, have moving parts). The cell phone does open and squeak when you press the buttons and the change purse rattles but the other items really don't do anything so she became a little bored with them. Still she did like this toy and enjoyed imitating mom by putting on lipstick, "talking" on the phone etc. The toy itself is pretty durable and has survived several drops on the floor without breaking.

Overall I would recommend this toy for any young toddler that likes to imitate mom or play "make believe." At the price that it is selling for it is also a pretty good value.

My daughter received this as a gift when she turned one and I didn't give it to her right away thinking she was too young. Once I showed it to her at age 14 months, she absolutely loved it! She pretends to be painting her lips and mine with the big plastic lipstick. She loves opening, closing and shaking the coin purse (it's great because there's only the "sound" of coins so no mess to pick up). And she opens and closes the cell phone while pretending to talk on it. She's 16 months old now and totally understands that it's "her purse" and LOVES emptying and filling it. One of her favorites!

SugarBooger Kiddie Play Backpack

SugarBooger Kiddie Play Backpack, Wind-Up ToyI bought two of these backpacks, one as a birthday gift for a two year old girl, and one as a Christmas gift for my daughter who is just shy of two. The two year old loved it and it was the perfect size for her frame. The backpack was a bit much for my 19-month old, but as she grows closer to two years old, she is more interested in wearing it. It doesn't hold much, perhaps four or five, small to medium sized books. It doesn't have any interior/exterior pockets, so this wouldn't be the book bag for an elementary school child. But for a 2 or 3 year old child, for library trips, this does the trick and make them feel like a "big kid".

Chicco Baby Jogging

Chicco Baby JoggingMy 9m old girl really enjoys this walker. I had a tough time finding walkers because I have tile floors and those walkers with plastic wheels just don't work on hard floors. It has a strip of rubber that cover the wheels and rubber rollerblade brake-like pads on the rear wheels that allow for more control, it doesn't seem like it can get away from her, but it does move smoothly forwards and backwards. It's very stable, as she can pull herself up using this walker and it will not tip over. I also like that there are 6 height settings allowing it to grow with your child (mine is tall for her age). Of course since she is just learning how to walk, she falls occasionally, but she just falls back to her bum. I don't expect to see any face plants with this well designed walker, it's worth the money! It also plays a happy tune and lights up as your child pushes it, the music stops if they stop and gets faster if it's pushed faster. I really believe that this encourages her to keep trying! Yes, the walker has no toys or other "bells & whistles" on the front like other ones, but this is exactly what I wanted.

So if you want a simple, well built walker that works on bare floors as well as carpet and won't tip over on your child, then this is the walker for you!

This looks like a good idea on paper, but was poorly executed. The idea of it having adjustable height seems great to sort of grow with your child as they learn to pull them selves up to a standing position and then progress through the stages of eventually walking on their own. Plus having the music play as it's pushed to encourage the child to keep going is a great idea.

The max height is a little lower than you would expect though. My daughter is tall, but started walking at an early age and this had to be set to the highest setting for her and wouldn't have lasted long had it not broke.

As for the breaking part...the front axle is made of a small metal rod that is so small an flimsy our 7 month old daughter was apparently too strong for it. After about two weeks of use it started making a clicking noise near one of the front wheels. A quick inspection found the axle was a little bent and the clicking noise was from the mechanism near the wheel that triggers the music. Other than an annoying clicking sound all seemed well so we let our daughter keep playing with it. After all, she loved it. About a week after the clicking started we noticed that it would catch suddenly not allowing the front wheel to turn, causing the whole unit to tip forward and the kid to go tumbling forward bouncing her face off the unit. Needless to say it found the trashcan.

Can't believe that a company like Chicco would make such a cheap and potentially dangerous product. Heaven forbid your kid decides to try and play with this toy when you're not looking.

This was the 3rd walker we tried for our daughter. With no carpeting in the house, we were disappointed that all the other ones seemed to slide all over the place as if the wheels were on ice! They were dangerous and one even flipped toward my daughter and hit her in the face when she tried to pull herself up with the handlebar.

This one is great because it's flip-proof as the back tires have these guards on them to keep the entire unit from tipping. Secondly, it has rubber on the tires. A huge plus. The song speeds up as my daughter does, and she seems to want to play with little else now that she can walk alone (well, without us holding her to steady her).

Two other great features are: 1) the unit folds down for easy storage or transportation, and 2) the song, while not my favorite, is not overly annoying.

We do have to help her steer as the unit is tricky to maneuver, but that's not a huge problem and she seem to be getting the hang of it.

My only gripe is that compared to the other walkers, this does nothing besides help her walk. Most of them have an activity center on the front that the baby can play with as they are sitting down. This one doesn't. But she loves it so much, I still give it 4 stars.

Great product! FINALLY!!

One of the front wheels provides resistance and clicks forward I assume this is so the walker doesn't move forward faster than the baby can handle. The problem is that the other wheel doesn't act the same way, so the walker skews to one side. I find myself always holding both sides and walking behind my baby so that he doesn't fall and so that he can actually make some progress... and that sort of defeats the purpose of buying the walker, imo.

I bought this for my 8 month old because she was really cruising around the room and I thought she would enjoy it. She loves it! She took to it right away and it was perfect because when I first got it she was still slow and a little unsteady. The wheels have a rubber gripper around them that keeps the wheels from slipping and they have stoppers on the back wheels that look like roller blade brakes that help keep it from tipping over when they pull up on the handle. I initially thought I would be able to control the speed but you can't. It is very sturdy and when she pulled up on it using the handle it did not tip or move out from under her. The only thing I don't like is she can't turn it but I think that is pretty common amoung these types of walkers. There are no bells and whistles. It does play a little song that goes faster as the baby walks faster but there are no toys on it like some of the other walkers but she has plenty of toys. She has used this on carpet and the tiles in the kitchen and she was able to keep up with it unlike some of the walkers that go really fast on hard floors. It says it has six positions but that means the handle has 3 height options, the body has 2 positions and it can be folded flat for storage.

Fisher Price Snap-Lock Beads - Pastel Color

Fisher Price Snap-Lock Beads - Pastel ColorI got these for my sons first birthday to help with his occupational therapy due to nerve damage from a clavicle break at birth. He can pull them apart easily, but cant push them together. It could be cause they need to be broken in more, or it could be cause he doesn't have complete use of one of his arms, I'm leaning towards the latter. I think it would be a simple toy for any average child, but it's great for assistance with occupational therapy, and my son loves chewing on them!

This toy was not what I had expected. It arrived used. We ended up not giving it to our friend's for their baby because the toy was used.
