iPlay Tub Boats
The toys aren't too big and the magnets aren't too strong that he can't pull them apart and he loves to try to make the clicking or squeaking noises with the moving parts. The only negative is that the tugboat with the plunger takes a moment to start squeaking when it is wet. This toy is great fun in the tub! The boats magnetically link, so they make a train, and will find one another in the tub and link up after being separated. Each boat has some sort of lever or button, and the colors are bright and appealing. Now that my son is older, he likes to line the boats up on the edge of the tub, and their little wheels allow them to travel happily on the edge of tub "road." Overall a wonderful toy!

Especially for Baby 6 Piece Soft Blocks Set
Also when he was still a wobbly sitter I wasn't afraid of him falling onto these (as opposed to wooden blocks)
I also let him carry one around in his carseat and he uses it as an awesome teether!
Only wish there were more in the pack.

K's Kids I Am the Boss
Great Product.
Buy K's Kids I Am the Boss Now
This was my grandson's favorite birthday present. I had thought about getting it for Christmas and I wish I had (he was 6 months then). He loves diving into the balls, passing them out, and putting them back in. He can learn counting and colors with the balls. It went with them when they went on vacation this summer. Picking up the balls can be tedious and my daughter threatens to send it home with me! At least it doesn't sing or make noise! This colorful, well-made dinasour continues to bring laughs and excitement to my 9 month old grandson. We toss the balls out, we toss the balls in! We have lots of fun and I would highly recommend this toy.The product showed up perfectly just as expected and the amount of balls it comes with is perfect. I got this for my nephew for his 1st BDay because he's obsessed with balls and I thought going this route instead of a full on ball pit would keep my brother in law from coming after me! well the balls still get all over the floor but he has fun popping them in and out of the lil holes on the sides. I would say it's more for younger babies though... it only holds his attention for a few mins and then he's over it and it's not the whole 'surrounded by balls' effect, but the toy does its job and is everything it claims to be.Wednesday, March 19, 2014
Safety 1st Sounds n Lights Discovery Walker, Dino
I like that the toys can swing out, which leaves you with a fairly good sized tray for snacks. The tray is also deep enough that my son can move his cereal around without knocking it out of the tray. The toys are ok. They don't seem to be super high quality, but they provide a little bit of extra stimulation. Most of the appeal, though, seems to be in the freedom that it provides for my son.
The safety grips on the bottom of the walker seem to work well. For example, the walker won't go over our flooring thresholds because they are too high. However, I would note that we only have hard surface flooring in our home, and we don't have any stairs.
*Update 12/14/10* My son is 11 months now, and he still enjoys his walker. However, there is no seatbelt in the walker, and he has figured out that if he grabs onto things, then he can pull himself up to stand in (or on) the walker. This has become a big safety issue, so I wanted to note the lack of a seatbelt for other parents with climbers (or future climbers).Like any first time parents, we wanted a walker for our baby in hopes he'll learn to walk soon. It was hard to decide on one as there was no reference on what the minimum height should be and I was worried that our boy is still too early for a walker. So for your reference, our baby is about 3.5 months, and 2 feet tall when we purchased this walker. With the lowest setting, he is still not able to reach the ground. However, we were able to make some adjustments to it to make it lowered so that his feet can now reach the ground and he is able to push himself backwards.
The toys on the tray are ok. I thought they were a bit simple and not very entertaining: the bear at the end flashes a red light and plays 3 different sounds, the palm tree has rotating mirrors, the dinosaur turns and clicks, the yellow ball spins with tiny balls inside so it also makes noise, and a red plastic toy tied to the tray and our boy ends up just putting it in his mouth. I liked how the toys has its own tray and you are able to move them to the side so you can use the tray for snacks or other toys.
The only thing we didn't like about this walker is the design of the seat. The two holes for his legs are way in front where his legs dangle instead of allowing him to stand up and move freely. I hope they will reconsider the design to either make the leg holes wider or move it to the middle of the seat more.
Overall, this is walker is affordable, simple to use and set up, slides effortlessly on hardwood floor, and great for travel as the seat can be lowered to flatten. Also, the cloth seat is removable for washing when it gets soiled. It's a good buy!

Originally, I gave this walker only 2 stars stating "We have a 7 1/2 month old baby girl who is starting to pull up and can stand on her own...The leg holes in the seat are at the front instead of the middle, forcing the baby into a sitting, rather than standing position. My baby girl will be walking on her own without the need for a walker by the time that she's tall enough to touch the floor while sitting in this product."What I didn't realize a week ago is that she had to learn how to stand up in the walker instead of use the seat, and that the walker is not too tall for her (she's between 26 and 27 inches tall). She's still not quite walking, but the walker will allow her to do so when she figures it out. While this design was frustrating at first, it allows your child to sit when they tire of standing. After understanding how the seat works, I consider it an innovation rather than a shortcoming. The way the two sections of toys swivel out of the way to reveal a tray underneath is pretty neat as well.
I stand by my original statement, "The walker is a great value, well constructed, and the toys are great."

I bought this for my almost 4 month son who has been really trying to stand and tensing his legs. I pondered a stationary exersaucer vs. walker. I decided on this walker because it got a couple of good reviews and I wanted something that would fit two purposes, stationary entertainment and walking practice when he is older. My son is bigbut his feet are a few inches from the floor. That's fine with me since I don't want him moving in it yet, anyway. I folded up a blanket and put it under his feet so there won't be too much pressure on his bottom in the seat. He is happy and has been trying to explore the little toys. I would reccommend this walker.Want Safety 1st Sounds n Lights Discovery Walker, Dino Discount?
I read the reviews before I bought it. It said that there old enough baby feet were no where near touching floor. The lowest adjustment was too high. I ignored it since my granson is tall for his age. He is now 8 mos old and his feet dangle. Should have listened. This manuf needs to check and compare heights. Also seat leg cutouts are quite stiff and when baby sits in it for 15 mins (since he cant go anywhere) thighs are red. Also the light up dinosaur lights up only half the time. I would not recommend this walker at all. Should have returned it..Sunday, March 9, 2014

I bought this for my 1 year nephew since he has a lot of plastic toys. I was surprised to see how thin and small he was but as my husband pointed out "Honey, he's a baby. It's a great size for his little body" So true. It's light and super soft. He has a sweet face and will make a great gift for a little one.I ordered this one in blue for my 3 yr old son and the Medium My First Teddy in Pink for my 4 yr old daughter. My daughter steals her brothers to cuddle since its softer.Love it when I saw on facebook. I bought it without any hesitation. But his nose make difference with the official picture, maybe wrong position. But still love it so much!Wednesday, February 5, 2014

Of all of the Christmas presents for my 8 month old, this is his favorite. He's teething and will chew on this for 30 minutes at a time. It is smaller than I expected. It is the size of my palm, not my whole hand. It is easy for my baby (with low muscle tone) to hold on to this and yet it is big enough that he can't gag himself with it as he does some other toys. He enjoys picking at the nubs on the handle. A really great product!Want KNOBBY TEXTURE CHEWY TUBE GREEN Discount?
Our 5 year old son's Occupational Therapist recommended a "chewy" as we call them, when we told her that he had been biting on his blanket when going to sleep at night. She sent him home with a Nuk Brush, which he loved but destroyed the first night. While researching a more durable product, I saw that parents of aggressive chewers indicated that another product, the Chew Stixx Oral Chew was good for older children. Not sure what our son would prefer, we decided to also purchase the Knobby Texture Chewy Tube Green, The two products are quite different in their firmness, but our son uses them equally. I think the softer, collapsible tubes of the Knobby might be a nice alternative when the firmer, solid arms of the Chew Stixx provide too much resistance.Be aware that the Knobby Chewy Tube Green has hollow tubes that can collect saliva. I was concerned that this would get messy, but actually I've only noticed it drip saliva once. After 2 weeks of use every night at bedtime, and sporadically during the day, both products look nearly new. In the end, I think purchasing both products was a good decision for our little guy.

PlanToys Roller
My only quibble is that the toy is about the size of a plum. From the picture I expected something larger, so I was pretty shocked at this tiny little thing that came out of the box. however, our son can get his hands around it, and it rolls really well, and he likes it. So the size is not that important as long as we keep our eyes on it. That thing could go missing under the sofa in nothing flat!

We love plan toys. We have many of their toys and my kids (5yr, 3yr, and 7mth) really love playing with them. This toy was great for my first son but my 7mth old got his fingers stuck in the space between the colored slats. I had to pull pretty hard to get them out and he had crimps in his fingers after I pulled them out. I thought maybe it was a fluke since it had never happened before with my other son, so I didn't throw it away.He ended up grabbing it again a few days later and got 2 fingers and his thumb stuck that time! He was shaking his little hand and it wouldn't come off. So, I guess it wasn't a fluke.
I would not recommend this toy. However, I called Plan Toys and they were really nice and are sending me a different product to replace this one.My son received this from our registry for Christmas. I was surprised at the size. I thought it was going to be bigger, but it is the perfect size for little hands to grasp. He was 2 months old at the time, so he didn't show much interest right away, but a few months later, this became a favorite of his to play with. Now he is 8 months old, and he loves to hold it with one hand and shake it and pass it to the other hand. We also roll it back and forth to each other. I turn it and point to the colors and tell him what they are. Plan Toys is such a great company. I feel completely safe when I see him gnawing on it, knowing it is non-toxic and eco-friendly. We haven't had any problems with durability. Will definitely buy more Plan Toys in the future.

Disney Pooh Certified Organic Plush
Buy Disney Pooh Certified Organic Plush Now
I bought this at a store for my 2.5 year old daughter, just days after seeing the movie for the first time. She noticed it, and yelled "Pooh Bear"! I could not resist. I felt like it was very familiar looking, the packaging. I immediately looked for the brand and was happy to see that it was by Miyim. I bought my 7 month old son several toys by this brand. Yes, I know the brand is from China and their products are made there. But what isn't these days? Anyways, this brand is the only one I support from China, because there material is organic, and it is near impossible to find organic in a stuff toy that my daughter would enjoy. She has not let go of it since we bought it for her two days ago. It has such a sweet old world, faded vintage look to the colors. She will have it forever. It is a timeless plush toy and I am so glad that we got it for her. As she grows more into the film and the characters I intend on getting her all of the characters. Love it!Read Best Reviews of Disney Pooh Certified Organic Plush Here
My 4-year-old son has a Miyim bear that he loves. He's into Pooh now, the chapter books. Thought he'd enjoy the Pooh and Tigger, but the bell inside the toys is not only annoying, but makes the toy very babyish--though I don't know any baby that could nap listening to it. Why, Miyim, why wreck an otherwise great toy? Not sure if I'm going to do surgery and cut the bells out (though I can feel they are quite large) or return them. They were supposed to be Christmas gifts.Yes, there is a "rattle", but it is not loud or annoying. It is more of a light tinkling. I love that it's organic since my son sucks the ears. This is his lovey in his crib and when I put him down for his naps or at night he immediately rolls to his side and hugs his Pooh! It's light enough for a baby to maneuver but solid enought that I'm not worried about leaving it in his crib while he's sleeping. Plus the tinkling is nice to hear over the monitor to let me know he's awake!Sunday, January 12, 2014

Blossoms Pacifier Chain by Haba
Buy Blossoms Pacifier Chain by Haba Now
The design is very adorable and hard to be misplaced. However, the whole chain is quite big. I bought some soothie pacifiers and the hole is way too small to loop the chain in. I managed to looped it in but the thought of removing it..it was just eaier to leave it on that specific pacifier. It works good on other pacifiers such as NUK, Playtex binky, ect... Also because it is big and bulky, sometimes the clip cannot stay put so I would recommend to buy it for your baby once he/she can hold on to it.This was the best pacifier chain we owned. My daughter loved it. Played with it more than many of her toys. It was in her mouth more than the pacifier. We wouldn't leave home without it. Used it til she gave up pacifiers. I highly recommend it.We have had this chain for our daughter for a while and get lots of compliments on it. She is teething now and loves to chew on it more than the paci itself. Since it is made of Beechwood and non toxic colors I don't have to worry. We are getting more for the car and grandma's house.Monday, December 23, 2013
Haba Trioli Clutching toy
Thanks for a shoddy toy, Haba.Great wooden toy. I only purchase wood or other natural toys for my little one. This is one of her favorites. Well-constructed, good color, and soft wood. Easy to grasp too.

My little lady is teething up a storm (age 8 mos). She loved this clutching toy so much she lost it. So I bought her a second one. The bright colors and toxic free wood make both of us quite happy! The child I gave this to, loves it! She is 4 months old and enjoys playing with this toy. I like that it safe as it is painted with natural, water-based, non-toxic lacquers that render the surface especially resistant to humidity and mechanical strain. Haba is a great toy company and all the toys I have brought from them have lasted years of baby wear and tear. A great product overall! We absolutely love anything made by Haba. They make quality baby toys and always use non-toxic paint. We bought this for our friends 6 month old baby boy. Having first hand experience with plastic teething rings (which often don't stay in the mouth long enough to be effective), we opted for this one because of the colored balls that will get and keep a baby's attention. He loves chewing on this and his little hands are able to get perfectly around the ring. Only con is that it does kinda look like he's got baby bear-knuckles =)Tuesday, December 17, 2013
Sesame Street Baby Purse Playset
Overall I would recommend this toy for any young toddler that likes to imitate mom or play "make believe." At the price that it is selling for it is also a pretty good value.

A friend got this for my daughter for her first Christmas. At first she had little interest in it. Now that she's almost 2 years, she plays pretend with it. We can't leave the house without it!My daughter received this as a gift when she turned one and I didn't give it to her right away thinking she was too young. Once I showed it to her at age 14 months, she absolutely loved it! She pretends to be painting her lips and mine with the big plastic lipstick. She loves opening, closing and shaking the coin purse (it's great because there's only the "sound" of coins so no mess to pick up). And she opens and closes the cell phone while pretending to talk on it. She's 16 months old now and totally understands that it's "her purse" and LOVES emptying and filling it. One of her favorites!I bought this for my 2 year old daughter and while she loves the Sesame Street theme, it was a bit bulky and uncomfortable to carry around. We returned it and got the "My First Purse" instead and she really loves that one. Overall they have the same features, this one is just a lot more bulky because of the hard plastic.Sunday, December 8, 2013

Chicco Baby Jogging
So if you want a simple, well built walker that works on bare floors as well as carpet and won't tip over on your child, then this is the walker for you! This looks like a good idea on paper, but was poorly executed. The idea of it having adjustable height seems great to sort of grow with your child as they learn to pull them selves up to a standing position and then progress through the stages of eventually walking on their own. Plus having the music play as it's pushed to encourage the child to keep going is a great idea.
The max height is a little lower than you would expect though. My daughter is tall, but started walking at an early age and this had to be set to the highest setting for her and wouldn't have lasted long had it not broke.
As for the breaking part...the front axle is made of a small metal rod that is so small an flimsy our 7 month old daughter was apparently too strong for it. After about two weeks of use it started making a clicking noise near one of the front wheels. A quick inspection found the axle was a little bent and the clicking noise was from the mechanism near the wheel that triggers the music. Other than an annoying clicking sound all seemed well so we let our daughter keep playing with it. After all, she loved it. About a week after the clicking started we noticed that it would catch suddenly not allowing the front wheel to turn, causing the whole unit to tip forward and the kid to go tumbling forward bouncing her face off the unit. Needless to say it found the trashcan.
Can't believe that a company like Chicco would make such a cheap and potentially dangerous product. Heaven forbid your kid decides to try and play with this toy when you're not looking. This was the 3rd walker we tried for our daughter. With no carpeting in the house, we were disappointed that all the other ones seemed to slide all over the place as if the wheels were on ice! They were dangerous and one even flipped toward my daughter and hit her in the face when she tried to pull herself up with the handlebar.
This one is great because it's flip-proof as the back tires have these guards on them to keep the entire unit from tipping. Secondly, it has rubber on the tires. A huge plus. The song speeds up as my daughter does, and she seems to want to play with little else now that she can walk alone (well, without us holding her to steady her).
Two other great features are: 1) the unit folds down for easy storage or transportation, and 2) the song, while not my favorite, is not overly annoying.
We do have to help her steer as the unit is tricky to maneuver, but that's not a huge problem and she seem to be getting the hang of it.
My only gripe is that compared to the other walkers, this does nothing besides help her walk. Most of them have an activity center on the front that the baby can play with as they are sitting down. This one doesn't. But she loves it so much, I still give it 4 stars.
Great product! FINALLY!!One of the front wheels provides resistance and clicks forward I assume this is so the walker doesn't move forward faster than the baby can handle. The problem is that the other wheel doesn't act the same way, so the walker skews to one side. I find myself always holding both sides and walking behind my baby so that he doesn't fall and so that he can actually make some progress... and that sort of defeats the purpose of buying the walker, imo.I bought this for my 8 month old because she was really cruising around the room and I thought she would enjoy it. She loves it! She took to it right away and it was perfect because when I first got it she was still slow and a little unsteady. The wheels have a rubber gripper around them that keeps the wheels from slipping and they have stoppers on the back wheels that look like roller blade brakes that help keep it from tipping over when they pull up on the handle. I initially thought I would be able to control the speed but you can't. It is very sturdy and when she pulled up on it using the handle it did not tip or move out from under her. The only thing I don't like is she can't turn it but I think that is pretty common amoung these types of walkers. There are no bells and whistles. It does play a little song that goes faster as the baby walks faster but there are no toys on it like some of the other walkers but she has plenty of toys. She has used this on carpet and the tiles in the kitchen and she was able to keep up with it unlike some of the walkers that go really fast on hard floors. It says it has six positions but that means the handle has 3 height options, the body has 2 positions and it can be folded flat for storage.
