Sassy Rattlin Ring, Blue /Black
Buy Sassy Rattlin Ring, Blue /Black Now
My son didn't like this when I first got it for him (at about 3-4 months) I kept it in the diaper bag just in case. It was the only toy I had one day and he was a little over 5 months and teething like crazy. He loved the 3 rings and the nubby green and blue section. He also tries to shove the whole ball in his mouth. He shakes it like mad after slobbering on it using it as a teeter. All in all get it. It is cheap, not painted and you can put it on your wrist as a bracelet when you don't have an extra hand and a toy is needed.

When my son was just brand new I liked this rattle. The contrast seemed great for a newborn, and I'd dangle it over him while he laid on his back. He was curious and it was nice bonding time. But. Once he was old enough to grab and shake rattles, this one held no interest for him. He (and I) preferred ones a little wider and that didn't loop full circle -they are easier to shake and grab. He (and I) preferred ones that had a teether on them -everything I gave him started going right to his mouth and he quickly learned this one wasn't satisfying on those little gums.Overall, it wasn't expensive and it did get some use . . . but I'd just suggest going for something a little chunkier that doesn't loop around and that will fit better into their drooling mouth. The infantino peek-a-boo bug was our personal favorite. Sassy also makes something similar to this but that doesn't loop in a full circle and that has a soft, liquid filled teether opposite the ball. He enjoys that one. I'm just going to throw this one out or donate it. It serves no purpose now that we have the other one.

My baby doesn't like this rattle as well as some others with smaller diameter places to grasp but he does like to look at it. I hear that black and white is supposedly stimulating to a baby.It doesn't make much noise when you shake it, just the plastic rings bouncing up and down. I'd say this is a good church rattle it makes a little noise but not enough to disturb others like some other rattles might.

Haba Pipapo Rattle
It's also great to chew on since he's teething, and I feel great letting him chew on a natural wood toy instead of something plastic. It's easily stuffed into a diaper bag, and keeps him entertained as well if not better than most of his other wood toys. This seemed like a neat toy until my 6 mo old son dropped it from his high chair and it broke. This toy has been through two baby boys and still looks brand new. Both of them loved it. Very easy for little hands to hold. I have bought it for other little ones because my kids loved it so much. This will be a toy that I save for my grandkids to play with.

INTEX 58461EP SNAPSET POOL 6' x 15"
The one thing I found is that the vinyl bottom of the pool can be punctured very easily. Despite taking extra precautions, like using a tarp underneath it, I had 2 holes after the first use. The included patch kit made it easy to fix.
The cleanup process is a bit of a pain, so I found that it's easier to just leave it full until it gets really dirty. I purchased pool treatment (chlorine crystals) to 'shock' the pool when first filled, and then to keep it clean after each use. I purchased a cheap $2 plastic 9x12 sheet to use as a pool cover to keep it covered and clean. My son just loves this pool. It's a great size and durable. I have had inflatable pools before and had problems with those, decided to purchase this snapset pool and really like it. It's easy to set up and store, just folds right up.

I purchased a pool similar to this last summer. Unfortunately, it met the fate of our neighborhood lawn service's weed wacker. Nevertheless, we had so much fun with it, I knew I needed to purchase a new one. We live in a town home community, so I wanted a pool that was compact and not too big. This pool certainly meets that criteria. It's inexpensive, too. You need to have the pool filled almost to the top to really stabilize the sides. Also, if your lawn is naturally at a slant, you can expect the pool water to fill a bit unevenly. The diameter of this pool is great for 2-3 adults or about 4 young children. It's great summer time fun!Read Best Reviews of INTEX 58461EP SNAPSET POOL 6' x 15" Here
This is a great kids pool! It is easy to fill, and is extreemly easy to empty and store. Used it all summer, did not tear or leak. I think this is simly a great product! The weight of the water inside the pool actually holds up the sides. The sides do not stand up unless the pool is full. I would definitely try it before I threw it away. I have two small children and we have had one every year for the past four summers. lots of fun.Saturday, June 14, 2014
Baby Einstein Count and Discover Treasure Chest
However, major design flaws outweigh any positives. First, the toy is extremely top heavy. This makes it prone to being knocked over backward and providing it with good potential energy...should it be placed precariously on the edge of a piece of furniture (as toddlers have a propensity to do). Second, the lid barely even opens...unless the lid comes off the main body, which it is prone to do. This, of course, spills the contents and requires an adult to put it back on. Third, the coin-recognition mechanism makes errors, as it judges based on coin size. As with toddlers, sometimes the coin isn't put perfectly into the slot, and it thinks the coin is wider than it really is.
This toy REALLY needs to be re-designed. Make the bottom heavier, allow the box to actually open, and refine how the chest recognizes a coin. What a shame that baby einstein, a brand that promises (overtly or otherwise) to make your child the smartest thing around, couldn't be bothered to put a little more thought into the design of this toy. I bought it for my son thinking it looked like fun. But once extricated from the packaging (no mean feat, that) it took him about 2 minutes to show me 3 problems. While attempting to put one of the coins in the slot, one of his fingers became painfully caught between the coin and the edge of the slot. He is an infant. His control and coordination are far from perfect. In addition, the chest is very top-heavy since all the features are built into the lid. It's just heavy enough to come down painfully on a little hand (although I doubt it's heavy enough to do any real harm, I'd rather not put it to the test.) Lastly, all of the counting/color/shape identification rely on a switch in the slot that makes a determination based on the size of the coin. If your child is like any child, he's going to put it part-way in, pull it out, and earn himself a false identification of the object, which is, needless to say, somewhat less than helpful for actually helping him learn anything, if that is one of your goals in purchasing a toy like this.
Ok, now that I think about it, it would also be nice if it had a volume control.

I totally agree with all the reviews on here. This toy is top heavy, and the lid doesn't open very far. However, my child, 18 months, LOVES this toy. We have had it since she was about 6 months, and at that time, she just liked to put the coins in her mouth. At about a year, she tried to put the coins in the slot, but was happy pressing the button on the outside to make the music play. At 18 months, she fully gets it, and it is easily one of her favorite toys.Read Best Reviews of Baby Einstein Count and Discover Treasure Chest Here
We bought this for our son while we were out shopping one day. It has several different coins of varying colors with shapes on them. The chest recognizes which color/shape is being inserted, and will speak that color/shape back to the infant. Whether or not an infant finds this toy to be a fun activity is unknown to me. You see, this toy has a huge design flaw that makes playing with it virtually impossible. All of the electronics are stored in the lid, making the toy very top heavy. Opening the chest to retrieve the coins inside is virtually impossible for an infant, and difficult for an adult. When my uncoordinated son attempts to open the lid, it simply topples over. Every time. You need to keep a sturdy hand on the base to keep the lid open, which is not going to happen with an infant. It bores him, and it frustrates me. I don't understand why, in 2013, toy engineers would think this design was okay to go to market.
I suppose it's okay if you just dump the coins out, but what infant is going to be able to dump this out, and then return it to a standing position? This things spends more time upside down on my floor anyway.
I'm no engineer, but the first thing that comes to mind is placing the electronics on the bottom. I'm sure that there is some technical or cost-reduction reason for this design decision, but it was made at the cost of the consumer in this regard. They could have even made the bottom heavier to even out the weight distribution, but they didn't.
It's a huge flaw, and I worry about my son hurting himself with this toy somehow. We've been very pleased with the line of Baby Einstein toys, so it's disappointing to see this poorly designed thing on store shelves. I don't normally feel ripped off, but I genuinely wish I could get my money back on this poorly designed thing.

This toy is so motivating for children to interact with. Great for very little children to work on fine motor, great for all ages to work on communication. Great for older to work on number sets.Friday, June 13, 2014
Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Musical Activity Walker
Until he began wanting to walk independently, but needed a little support from a walker. That's the point of this, right? Umm, not quite. We quickly realized that this is a fun toy, but NOT a good walker. It's very lightweight, and easily pushes away/tips when a newly-walking-toddler leans into it. It also can easily tip back when a toddler sits down, too, coming down on his head. After my son suffered a few painful faceplants and head bumps trying to use this walker, we took it away for his safety.
As a musical activity toy for a sitting/crawling/cruising baby, this is quite cute. As a walker for new toddlers, this doesn't do the trick. I'd recommend looking for something more sturdy. We bought this item after reading a lot of reviews and doing research. At the end of the day, my goal was to have something for my 12 month old to practice walking with (so far she cruises along furniture... but I don't want her only walking sideways!) When we put it together and gave it to her, I have never seen her so happy!!! She walks back and forth across our carpeted room like she has a new found freedom! We got nervous when she went near our tile floor, but she did just fine. The ONLY time it might tip is when she runs up against furniture and tries to keep on going. However, we are usually right there (as responsible parents) and turn her around facing her in another direction. She has flipped it on herself twice (or, rather, flipped herself over it) but neither time was she hurt or even phased by the fall. I can't stress enough how perfect this was for us. I don't think it is cheaply made at all. She can pull herself up on either side, loves the buttons, loves the music... it's great!!!! BUY IT!!!

This item offers absolutely no resistance against the wheels. If you don't hover over your child while they are walking, eventually you'll end up with some busted teeth or a bloody lip. If your child runs into anything with it, they will go over the top of it(as if over the handlebars on a bicycle). The plastic bends and the screw tips 'almost' pop through the plastic. It is very light so if your child is learning to walk... get them something else... Amazon customer support was willing to allow me a return, but we kept it as it does entertain my son. We have removed the wheels and the unit now sits stationary.Read Best Reviews of Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Musical Activity Walker Here
Was wearing after reading other reviews but my goodness they made it seem like I was purchasing the start of a horror movie for my child. Purchased it for my daughter before xmas so she was about to turn 10 months. She's almost 11 months now and is doing better with it than when she first got it. From the help of her 1 month older cousin she picked up how to properly start using a walker. Unfortunately my child does want to PLAY with the front WHILE WALKING BEHIND. Hilarious to watch. She always uses it backwards. A bit easier for her to play and walk.I believe this toy works better on none shag-ish carpet (idk what to call it exactly). The carpet in our upstairs portion of the house it does not allow the wheels to roll she gets frustrated and stops playing with it. Kitchen tile can you say WEEEEEE*faceplant* .... ok lesson learned, don't allow child to use in kitchen Didn't really think of using quite there ANYWAYS. Downstairs carpet ok cool, she uses it great. She crawls over and plays with just the front as well (we do have to have wheel stoppers of some form behind to back wheels while just playing with the front part otherwise it rolls away when she slams the piano keys haha)
Music is very short (does not play forever and ever and ever). Nice sounds actually 3 settings for sound. OFF, LOW, HIGH. High really isn't that bad, just helps her hear if there is something like the TV playing or other family members having fun elsewhere in the same room.
Yes the sounds do make noise when child isn't play a quick piano roll, or guitar sound TO GET THE CHILD TO COME BACK AND PLAY. This shouldn't be the ONLY toy to show cause and effect my child will play for with it knows the sound will go off in a few moments when she stops , waits for it to do the sound on it's own, laugh like there is no other joke told like this one, and get more into playing with it. The child will read it as an interactive game with them not confuse them completely on the short bit they learned on cause an effect. They still are getting that here AND hopefully else where if you're teaching them properly. /rant
You may need to be close by while they are learning to walk just like you would if they were learning to walk without the toy. Once they start cruising and are walking like a crab by going side to side steps, this toy will really help them cruise and learn the proper movement of the steps moving forward and back.
Falls may happen in life anyways will or without toys. Realize your child's milestone capabilities and follow proper parenting actions as it suits. Don't diss a product because your child may not be completely ready for all the aspects they are really really wanting to have.

We received this toy as a gift for our 3rd daughter. We have gone through several walkers before, so I have others to compare this one to. Our little one was not yet pulling up when we received this.Pros:
Assembly: there are only a couple screws(2 on each side I think?)to attach the "legs" to the top piece. It took me 2 minutes
The front part of the toy is actually really neat. They should have stopped there. There are several different activities requiring different types of actions from baby. The music played for each is cute and not annoying like other toys we have had.
Cons:
Once my baby tried to pull up on this toy things went downhill. When pulling up to a stand from either the front or back, the entire toy falls over. More than once it bonked her in the head and once it gave her a good bruise. She was actually DISCOURAGED from pulling up after that! Then, once we convinced her to try to use the toy from a standing she got going way to fast, the wheels caught on the carpet and she fell face-first into the toy.
We ended up taking the "legs" off of the toy after that. She played with it propped up on the table on a regular basis. it was constantly falling over, however, since this isn't what it was meant for...
Overall, I would not recommend this toy at all, and it's just not worth the price to not use the legs and just play with it on it's own.

Munch Silicone Teether - 3 Ring

My 8 month old son loves this teether. The hole in the middle makes it easy to hold. He loves feeling the different textures on each 'petal.' He kept trying to chew on flat plastic things like my keychain and he likes putting tags in his mouth, so I figured he would like this teether. He loves it! He wouldn't put it down for more than a few seconds the first time I gave it to him. He often tries to carry it around with him as he crawls! I also love the fact that it is BPA and phthalate free. My one complaint is that it's hard for me to find because it is clear. However, HE always seems to find it!The picture is misleading. It implies that this is a 3 pack of teethers when in fact it is only one item. Had I known, I would have skipped this item and just purchased a BPA/pthalate free teether locally or better, from GreenSprouts, which seems to offer a better deal. I will keep it because I was looking for something healthier than the unlabeled ones, but still there is that lingering feeling of having been hoodwinked. This teether was so popular with our daughter around the time she was 6 months old. She loved being able to easily hold it herself and chew on it. We were so sad when our daycare lost it and will definitely replace it for our next baby.Saturday, March 8, 2014

This toy is really cute! It hangs down about 12 inches from the hook to the bottom of the tail. My daughter is only 6 weeks old but she already loves it. She'll stare at it and even wave her arms around like she wants to touch it, so I'm sure she will appreciate it even more as she grows. The feet and wings are crinkly, the ball has little beads in it, and the tail has a little mirror attached. Love it, wouldn't change a thing about it.Read Best Reviews of Lamaze Early Development Toy, Dee Dee the Dragon Here
I got three of these and they arrived today. My friend and I took them out of the plastic, and fell in love with all of them straight off. These are all three gifts for my granddaughter and for a child who is like a great nephew to me. I am certain the children will love these. The baby boy is only going to be about 4 months old come Xmas and our granddaughter will be about 9 months. I just cannot imagine that these would not hold their attention so I'm doing the review now. The crinkle sound and the different textures plus the mirrors are just wonderful ideas. I do recommend this product and all of the others that they have in this line. As I find out more, like how the babies interact, I will update but, it holds the attention of one 47-year-old woman and a 62 year old as well, lol. Thanks!Want Lamaze Early Development Toy, Dee Dee the Dragon Discount?
My baby did not start grabbing toys early. We have been waiting while trying to teach him to reach out to a bunch of colorful toys. None of them had him interest enough to really reach out for. This pink little dragon was given at baby shower and it was the one that my baby like the most. He would stop crying when we shake it in front of him in the car. And guess what, it was the first toy he ever had enough interest to reach out and explore (4 months old). I was really glad. After that for days before he started grabbing on other toys solidly. I will buy another Lamaze soft toy today!Tuesday, February 18, 2014
Roadmaster Duo Deck 10-Inch Trike
(1) The trike should not be tippy. Several popular models (like the Radio Flyer Fold 2 Go) seem to tip over with the slightest nudge.
(2) The tires should be made of rubber, not hard plastic. Plastic tires provide a rough ride, are loud on rough pavement, and show their wear much moreso than rubber tires.
(3) Value While I don't mind spending more for better quality/features, some models seem overpriced for what they offer.
My 3-year-old son has a Schwinn Roadster 12-Inch Trike (Red) (also highly recommended), but I had been considering the Radio Flyer classic red dual-deck tricycle for my 2-year-old, until finding this Roadmaster model. The quality and features seem comparable to the Radio Flyer (minus the streamers on the handlebars). It has nice solid metal construction, and rubber tires. The trike is nice and stable. Assembly was required, but was straightforward. At the lowest adjustable seat position, my 2-year-old can reach the pedals nicely, and should be able to grow with the trike for some time. And, of course, the ultimate test my daughter loves it! This Roadmaster trike is a great unit, especially at its price point. We got this bike for our 2 year son for his birthday. It's a great bike all around. You won't be disappointed with this bike.
Reasons to buy :
(1) The trike should not be tippy.
(2) The tires should be made of rubber, not hard plastic.
(3) Value Great bike for a great price.
(4) Style great design look like a radio flyer

We have twin 2.5 year old girls. So we got 2 trikes. The Girls are still a little young for it even at the lowest setting. They are very slightly on the tall side for their age. Probably in another 3 months they will be peddling around.Quality is only so-so.
As the label on the bike says: "designed in USA, made in China".
The design for this bike is pretty good. But every every effort has been made to save money on the parts. There are little things that indicate a lack of attention to detail: low quality hardware, washers that are the wrong size, I had to use some of my own washers in order to properly bolt the main frame to the step otherwise the supplied screws just pass through.
You have to really crank on the steering wheel screw in order to get it to stay in place. Also, the steering wheel on one of the bikes won't go perfectly straight.
The tires that were supplied are not true on the wheel. They are a little warped.
All that said, when this trike is on sale it is worth it. They do seem solid enough. And I like the old school design.I'm very happy we selected this tricyle. Our daughter is two and a half, and on the shorter side, and she was able reach the pedals and ride the trike without any problem. It seems very sturdy and our daughter loves riding it. We love the retro look of the trike and feel the price was very reasonable. We did have one problem but it was resolved to our satisfaction. When we received the product one of the pieces was damaged (from shipping I presume). The seller (JPL Goods) responded very quickly to our issue and we had a replacement part in a matter of days.Maybe I'm the only person so far that thought this trike is just OK. I purchased it for a toddler as part of a charity Christmas toy drive. I had high expectations for it because of the prior reviews and hope that this makes the little boy happy. But I am a little disappointed with it and wonder if I would buy it again for my son. First off, the bolt that holds the seat in took a lot of effort to screw in-ok, way too much effort. The seat install took about 30 minutes, the majority of the time I spent assembling the trike. Obviously the hole wasn't tapped correctly. Also, the back wheels are a bit wobbly-not enough to be a real problem or dangerous but it bothered me. Worst part in my opinion is the tires. They smell horrible. I just hope the air out soon. To put this in perspective, I have a 3000 square foot house and could smell them everywhere I went. I had to put it in the garage immediately-the trip to work tomorrow with it in the car is going to be a long one. Bottom line, love the retro look, the price was right, but there are enough issues that I may think twice before buying this when my son is old enough.

The ball is colorful and bright. The sound of the little beads in the ball's chambers are very feeble. Would have rather liked some bells or anything that would jingle a little louder. My 3-month old daughter likes to grasp the ball, the big holes in between help her do that. But it doesn't hold her attention for more than a few seconds. I suspect that's because it doesn't do anything more than that.Overall: So-so product. Try the Manhattan Toy Winkel instead.

Brica Super Scoop Bath Toy Organizer
This item is a great clutter remover in the bathroom and as an added bonus, it doubles as a basketball hoop! The opening is about 3" deep, so you'll need some balls that are smaller than that.I reviewed several bath toy organizers and settled on this one because so many people said it was the only one they found that stayed on the wall. Plus, the price was right. I hung it up in the evening after work and the next day I heard it fall. So I thought "Well, maybe I didn't get it suctioned up there very well" so I tried again and it fell down within hours. I threw the thing in a drawer in the bathroom and haven't used it since. Very disappointed. I should also mention that I had only put two rubber duckies and 3 little floating animals (smaller than rubber duckies) in there. It was VERY light.

I've only had this for a week, but it is terrific! This holds tons of tub toys and bath books (20ish squirters, set of measuring cups, little people boat, sesame figures, etc!)
The wall mount is super sleek and has not moved since suctioned to the tile.
The scoop basket is easy & fun to use, my son now loves putting his toys away! I was previously using the large shell-shaped toy organizer that sits on the edge of the tub, which is very bulky and would fall into the tub if my son put any pressure on it.
Love this scoop!!!!

When I was reading most of the negative reviews for this toy organizer, almost everyone mentioned that it was because it doesn't stay on.Here is what I did (very simple) and it does NOT come off and stays put!
Scrub clean your tiles with comet and then wash off. Let dry and then I wiped the wall again with windex and also cleaned off the round suction part of the toy organizer. After it dries off, stick the organizer and press hard a couple times and thats it. It stays on really well. I have no problems with it, my 2 year old son would try to yank the mesh bag off sometimes and it still stays on strong.
This toy organizer looks great on our bathroom wall :)As other reviewers mentioned, the suction cup did not stick to my completely smooth bathroom tile. So frustrating. But I used some waterproof, removable Command Strips to stick the bracket to the wall and it's been hanging solidly for several months now. Now that it works, I love it! It's a good size for our small bathroom and I like that everything inside dries well between uses.

Then I received it in the mail and the rattle is Pink w/white dots. Looking at the pic (didn't read the description unfortunately), I thought it was Red w/white dots. Colorfun Ball Primary
The only complaint that I have is the price, but as much as we have played with this, it has been worth the [price]!We received this ball 11 years ago, when our first son was born--now our third son is four and still loves playing with it, and we're looking forward to handing it down to our new baby when he is born. It's sturdy, soft, has a nice soft chiming sound, and the colors engage the baby's interest. It's been used in so many indoor games, and has held up perfectly. I'm considering buying another one in case my four year old is reluctant to pass it on to his younger sibling! An excellent baby gift for new parents. My daughter (6 months)likes this, it has bright colors and it is soft so she doesn't get hurt while wacking or kicking at it. It has a cute little bell/chime sound which is nice. I did expect this to be bigger though. I would say it is more of a medium ball than a large as described. We recently bought this ball for my son for Christmas. Although I do think he will love the ball, I was disappointed to see that the color names are not on the ball like in the pictures. The current ball being shipped out does not have the words on the ball for each color (as in the customer images). The only picture that accurately represents the ball is the first one. Also, it does not have as long nap as the ones in the "customer images". Comes in a ziplock type bag which is good. Otherwise looks good and I hope it holds up over time.
