LA Rug Primary Hopscotch Rug 19"x29"

Even though the rug is the size as stated the picture shown here has to be a different rug or it is stretched to distort the size appearancethe squares on the rug are about 3"x4" not even big enough to actually play hopscotch, and why else would you want a hopscotch rug. Maybe she can play with it with a doll, but kids can't actually play.

This hopscotch is so small the children in my preschool can't even play on it:(

Make sure you check the dimensions on this product before buying. I didn't look that closely and didn't realize how small the rug is. I was looking for something that was actually large enough for my preschoolers to play hopscotch on. This is not! Return was easy though.

This little moose was bought to replace a much loved soft toy which had been lost. As soon as he arrived he filled that hole in a small boy's heart and he hasn't missed a bedtime since. Very soft and, most importantly, easy to carry around (grab him around the neck), the moose has become the favourite toy.

I bought this moose for my 10 1/2 month old daughter to go along with the book, if you give a moose a muffin for Christmas, because I just love moose. I love the feather part of the mask, but was a little disappointed with the cheap glued on gold leaves..that looked like a 5 year was playing with a glue stick and sure enough 2 mins after taking it out of the package one of them fell off. The mask itself was not what I expected it looks for like a cheap superhero costume mask, does not seem to fully go complete with the feather portion...they just dont gel well together..

When I got them in the mail, I still very much like them, but it looks like kind of a computer printout on thick paper, pre-folded, so you open it up and keep it together with a slot at the bottom and you have a little sticker to reinforce it so it doesn't fall apart. There is no actual ribbon on it, but this is a graphic on there. This review probably sounds bad... it just exactly what I was thinking it was. I still think it's very cute, and now that I have it put together, I think it looks nice. It has enough room for nail polish and some candies, which is all I wanted to do. Overall, I like them, and would make the same purchase again.

Mamas & Papas Activity Toy - Tummy Time

My 8 month old loves this and has since I got it for him two months ago. He has no problem turning on the music and neither do I but it's also not a primarily musical toy. He lays on it, crawls over it, shakes it. I only wish I had bought it earlier so we could have used it for tummy time.

Everything on this product is great except the music button does not work. It is impossible to even press down. I called the company about it and the person I spoke to was completely unhelpful even though they seemed aware of this problem. They offered no resolution other than to return it to the seller. I saw these later at an actual store and they are all like this. The musical button is practically impossible for me (an adult) to press, there is no way a toddler could do it.

At just over $138, this charm is not really a good value for the money. Unless, of course, it is made out of solid gold.

I don't really consider this a toy. It is a great Webkinz product and the kids really love charms. I bought this specifically because my grandchildren love Webkinz and they also have a real life PUG. So it was not really meant as a toy , but more as something they really care about. In that respect it is very special to them and to me. So it was a good buy.

Chicco Animal Cottage

I bought this toy for my daughter on her first birthday. As a kid, my brother had an older version of this toy and I was expecting that when I puchased the Chicco Animal Cottage. In that sense I was a little disappointed. The plastic is much thinner and flimsier, the doors pop open easily without using the key, and the animals can fit through some of the holes at the top meant for the shapes. That being said, it is still a fun toy and both my one and four year old enjoy playing with it.

I ordered this toy because my two year old had mastered his other shape sorters and I really liked the fine motor component the keys provide. However, upon receiving the toy I was a little let down. The reason being that the animals fit into the regular shape spaces. This means that a child can put the animals through the shape holes and since they fit, they think they've done the task correctly. This toy requires hands on for parents (which isn't a bad thing) so your child won't be able to play on his/her own without garnering a false sense of correctness. Also, the plastic locks are not very sturdy and seem as though they will break easily. I have seen older versions of this toy in other settings and they did not have this issue. So if you can find a used one at a garage sale buy it. If not, I would pass on this toy.

I really dislike this toy. The keys and locks are nearly impossible for my child to use and she gets very frustrated. I'm glad this was a gift but am completely baffled at how many lame toys are produced. Don't they have focus groups for this kind of item? We hate it. Do not buy.

This toy is great! I have a son tthats3 and has a learning disability his therapists recommended gettting him a shape sorter we ordered this one.....it was a little spendy but well worth it! I like that it has shapes to put in the holes, animals that you have to put in the right holes and the keys are alot of fun for the kids to have to figure out which one goes where!!! I would definitely recommend this toy to anyone who has a little one it is great!

Skip Hop Alphabet Zoo Activity Mirror

Although the item can totally be used alone, we found it was a great addition to the Skip Hop Activity Gym. Its adorable and has great added features other than just the mirror itself. I had to take off one star though because the actual image quality in the mirror itself is pretty distorted. Its actually really common in play mirrors, since they are made of soft materials instead of a true glass mirror (for obvious safety reasons) so I cant entirely fault the maker for this issue, but its still worth noting.

Since the day I opened this it is by far my son's favorite toy. It is also much larger than I expected and I love that it can go on the back of the headrest in the car for road trips.

Got this item for my 3-month to give her something to look at during belly-time. She had been very interested in mirrors lately so this looked great. Turns out the mirror on this is no better than if she looked into a piece of foil! It's warped and distorted to the point her doesn't see herself in it. My baby girl adores this, started reacting to it at about 3.5 months, now is 6 months old and still loves to look at herself. The mirror is not rigid, so sometimes gives a funhouse-esque reflection. I think the baby thinks this is funny, but I wanted to mention it because my mom was disappointed that it wasn't a proper reflection (I think she thinks it will mess up the baby's self-image haha.)

The little attached toys (the bird and the monkey) are very attractive to my baby also, who always tries to grab on to them, but they are stuck on the mirror with what feels like supervelcro it takes significant effort on my part to remove them so she can play with them. On the bright side, this supervelcro they use is not the hook-y kind that can hurt little fingers (or little teeth) so I don't have to worry about that. They are attached with a VERY short string though I'm guessing this is for safety reasons but my baby isn't able to really play with the little attached toys which can be frustrating for her. All these points taken into consideration, she LOVES this toy and so do I!

Wonderworld Spacy Baby Toy

The size of this toy is just perfect for little hands to grab and little gums to chew on. It makes a pleasant noise when shaken, and flexes in many different directions.

(My little one is currently 4 months old, and when I showed this to him in a toy store his eyes lit up and it was instantly grabbed and put straight into his mouth. Needless to say, if you drool on it, you bought it. It's become one of his absolute favorite toys.)

Fisher-Price Toddlerz Chatter Telephone

I was excited when I first bought this toy for my little one, because I had one when I was a child. I'll say one thing about it, it's cute and it looks like the old one, and it's durable. Most Fisher Price toys can withstand alot of abuse. But it's not as playable as the old one.

First of all, the original was made of wood of course, and this one is plastic, but no problem with that, just thought I would mention that to anyone who thought it was exactly like the old one.

The reason it's awkward for children to play with is because the reciever cord is very very short. The child will practically have to hold the whole phone up to his ear.

Whoever said that their child had the coiled cord wrapped around their neck was either lying trying for a lawsuit, or they had an actual older version. There is no way the coiled cord is going to wrap around anyone's neck unless it was a Barbie doll's neck. I'm assuming they shortened it for safety reasons. Okay, I understand that, but they left the pull cord long on it. A child could strangle themselves with the pull cord just as well as they could the reciever cord if it was long enough. So why shorten one for safety reasons but leave the other long? That is just stupid. My 1 year old won't play with this, because he won't pick up the whole phone to put the reciever to his ear. He gets frustrated with it. So really the only purpose it served was to bring back a childhood memory for me. I will probably wind up cutting the stupid 3 inch cord off of the darn thing so my baby can hold the reciever the right way.

So I only recommend this for someone who likes replicas of their childhood toys, or for someone who just likes cute toys to display on a shelf in their child's room. But I don't recommend it as a toy to play with.

This is an old favorite toy that I think every child has probably owned at one time or another.

I look for toys that are fun, easy to use and fairly quiet. I also look for toys that encourage creativity, exploration of the world (educational is just a bonus). I want a toy that will grow with the child. This toy fits just about all of these requirements.

This toy is fun for my kids to drag around. The moving eyes enchanted my son, encouraging him to walk when he first began walking. It is quiet and lots of fun.

Here are my few commentsFirst, it would be more fun if the wheels clicked or made some noise. Second, The button pad is one big pad that pushes down all at once, this is a shame because it would be MUCH more fun if it had seperate number buttons.

There are a lot of toys with strings for pulling. I bought this because I remembered mine. However, I don't think I would buy it for anything other than sentimental reasons. There are other more fun toys available.

I didn't ask for this toy, but my 10 month old daughter received it as a gift for Christmas. She loves moving it around on the wheels, turning the rotary numbers (mostly for the sound it makes) and holding the receiver up to her ear. When I first saw the toy, the first thing I noticed was how ridiculously short the cord from the phone to the receiver is! I was a bit annoyed that they shortened it. BUT then I went into the basement of my parents house and found my old version of this toy and THE CORD ON THE OLD ONE IS THE SAME LENGTH! I was born in 1985, so maybe previous versions had longer cords, but a 25 year old version of it didn't. I think it's funny how we all assume that "parents today" were too worried about their kids strangling themselves on the cord, but apparently parents back then thought the same thing. I'm not sure how my daughter even knows what this is because she's never seen a phone like that before, but she still likes it! Long story short, my now 11 month old daughter still loves to play with this toy.

Skip Hop Funky Farmyard Activity Mirror

This mirror looks cute but the reflection in the mirror is like that of a circus mirror very distorted. Also, it's not easy to hang this mirror anywhere because the straps on the back used to hang it only have a small .5 inch/.5 inch section of velcro to attached the straps to. Would not have purchased this had I seen it first.

I bought this mirror for my son... he's not quite understanding the reflection in the mirror is him yet... :-) However, I like this mirror better than other ones on the market... it's cute, good size, can be hung in the crib or used as a stand when you are doing "tummy time" with your child.

This mirror is distorted which I expected because you're not going to find a flat plastic mirror. My bigger complaint is that the mirror sitting on the floor tilts back too far for the baby to see himself. The straps on the back to attach it to a crib are too short to reach the velco spots they are supposed to attach to.

My daughter is 6 mos and continues to really like this toy. I got it for her when she was about 2 mos old to use at tummy time. It is cute and has several fun features. I just printed out the return label for this item. First of all, like many of the other reviewers have mentioned the distortion of the image on this product is evident. The only way it is clear is if it is about 2 inches or closer to your face. It hurts my eyes just to look in it from any further away. The straps on the back that are intended to be used for attachment to the crib were about 2 inches too short on my mirror. There are Velcro tabs for the straps to attach to and I would've had to fold the mirror in half (which probably would be possible given it is basically just fabric covered sturdy cardboard) just to make the Velcro tabs on the straps attach to the Velcro tabs on the backside of the mirror. I was pretty bummed because the border on this mirror is gender neutral and pretty cute. I have the activity mat that matches, but this mirror is just not worth keeping. I'll keep shopping.
