This little SUV is adorable, and my kids like it. It only has room for Mom and Baby in it , you can't pack the whole family in. My daughter is a little sad the doors don't open, I wish they did.

I paid $8 for this and would recommend not paying the full $17 Amazon has it listed for. It's cute but not worth the $17 IMO.

This little people SUV is a cute addition to the Little People House our daughter has. It sings a cute song, and makes some fun car sounds. It has a few movable parts. It's nothing too fancy, but our 21 month old daughter enjoys pushing her different little people around in it for pretend play. It is also very durable, as it's been dropped and stepped on already.

I bought this on clearance right before Christmas, since the price was so good and my daughter likes Little People toys. She just turned two and has been enjoying it, but I was surprised that for an "Open and Close SUV" that neither of the doors actually open. The back hatch opens and the little luggage thing on top opens, but that's about it. There's a cute little song that plays when you put the mom in the front seat and it also honks its horn.

Radio Flyer Umbrella Accessory

I have one of these for my daughter's Discovery wagon that she just recieved for her birthday. I only got it because I thought it was my only option, and no other clamp-on umbrella would work. First of all, this umbrella is WAY TOO SMALL. The only part of your child this would shade is his/her head. And if you have more than one child, FORGET IT. I've only used it a few times, and so far it hasn't broken, like some of the reviews I read. I plan to be very careful with it. My mother-in -law had a clamp-on patio chair umbrella that was MUCH BIGGER, and when I looked at it, I decided it wouldn't work, because the clamp goes sideways, but then I thought of clamping it on the drink-holder. IT WORKED! So now I use both umbrellas. The small one for my daughter's head (clamped on the end) and the big one for the rest of her. It may look silly to some people when they see us on the street, but I don't care. I have peace of mind, and that's what's important. So this is my suggestion. If you have one, and it still works, keep it, and get a patio chair one like I did. If it has a sideways screw-on clamp, buy it, it will work if you have the Discovery wagon.Thank goodness for the drink holder. And yes, you'll still have room for your drinks.

I had high hopes for this umbrella, but it utterly disappointed me. After using it approximately 3 times, the pole is about to break in half where the little button is that extends the umbrella part. The pole is just not strong enough and will surely end up breaking in half. The spring is not very malleable, either.

I loved this umbrella and felt it an important part of my daughter's (and my) enjoyment of her wagon it shaded her from the sun, allowed her to play with her toys and look at books and gave me peace of mind knowing that she wasn't being burned to a crisp by the sun. There is a bendable portion to the post at the base, near the clip. I adjusted the angle of the umbrella quite often depending on the location of the sun. However, after only 2 months of use, the metal post on the unbrella became weakened and dented, and it finally snapped. I wish it was made to last longer. I am going to replace the broken, but will be more careful when bending it at the base and I recommend the same to anyone who buys it.

I was thrilled to find a clip-on umbrella that BENT around to cover any angle, but the first time I tried to use it (in the blazing heat during a 4th of July parade) the plastic clip snapped. Very disappointing!

We have this for our radioflyer woodsided wagon and it works very well. It's a bit on the small side, same size a regular childs umbrella, but it works. Also, the small size is about the same width as the wagon, so it's easy to fit thru any doorways, gates, etc...while in the open position that the wagon can.

I rated it 4 stars for fun since my 2 year old loves to play with it (a lot). I think it's great to have and advise anyone with this type of wagon to get it too.

I already knew what to expect when ordering this product~ My two year old nephew had an identical stuffed giraffe since birth that he carried with him everywhere; it was the Hobbes to his inner Calvin. When it turned up missing after a trip to the grocery store, my sister sped back to retrace our path, while I jumped onto Amazon to look for a duplicate, just in case. I was so relieved to find a dopple-ganger! We ordered it, and were crushed to see the expected delivery was six to nine days away (spanning a weekend). To our joy, Giraffe 'returned from his trip' in only five days!

We found our little guy cooing and conversing with this blue octopod that we got as a hand-me-down from another parent. His face will light up each time they meet as if they were old pals and best of friends.

Our son has required corrective casting for his feet and often is in pain, but seems to forget it all when he spends time with the octopus. We brought it to his surgery last week and it helped calm him even though he couldn't nurse for several hours before the surgery. They wheeled him into the O.R. calmly snuggled next to the octopus. We almost panicked when we realized we forgot to take it when we left him with the doctors; when the surgery was over we were so relieved to see it was again at his side in the recovery room.

Knowing we may eventually lose it and how important it has become in our strategies in calming our son, my wife searched the net until she found it here on Amazon just in case we need another. But then would that be just like trying to fix the tragic loss of a favorite pet with a look-alike? We've joked that the octopus may come alive (when we're not looking) to be his little guardian marine friend. Perhaps it's just the very friendly face and the occasional familiar sounds that it gives that ongoing reassurance when we've exhausted our abilities.

At $12, I have no reservations recommending this to a 2+ month old. It is second only to his mother as a primary attachment figure. Sometimes I'm even jealous!

We introduced Mr. Octopus (we call him that too!) to our son around 3 months and he just loved this toy. He couldn't grab yet but we would crinkle the tentacles and play the music for him. Now that he is 6 months, we can't go anywhere without this toy! He can now grab the tentacles and crinkle and chew on them as much as he wants. He chews on all the rings and snuggles with it in his car seat and the music does (most of the time) stop the bored tears. So far, I've just been spot cleaning it but does anyone know if there's a more thorough way to clean the whole body? He gets dropped/thrown on various floors a lot (restaurants) so I take it into the bathroom and dab it with paper towels but I'd just like a more thorough cleaning when we get home. It's soft, no hard edges and I feel safe letting him play with it while I do something else.

We call him Mr. Octopus or Old Blue:) We bought this toy for our daughter when she was just 3 months old, and she has loved it from the instant we showed it to her. She's now 8 months and continues to love this toy. Her whole face lights up when we get him out, or show him to her. She really likes the music and water sounds. She likes to chew on the crinkly legs, or the little rings and chewie that he has attached to him. He's soft and washes off easily. This toy has saved the day on long car trips. My son adored this thing at the age of 4 months, when we got it. He's seven months old now, and this is still his favorite car toy. The octopus's face is so friendly that he can stare and talk to it for an unbelievably long time. I love the ocean and was excited to get an ocean themed toy for my baby. However... no wonder kids these days have ADD! The music/sounds are soooo freaking short! The ocean/bubbles sound lasts ONLY 1 second, then there are 2 songs that lasts ONLY 10 seconds each. You pull, hear the bubbles sound, pull again for song #1, pull again for the bubbles, then pull again for song #2... that's a lot of freaking pulling in only 22 seconds! I am NOT exaggerating... I timed the sounds.

I would have returned it had I not torn off the packaging in my haste and excitement. Toy looks cute but dang... it was made for kids with super short attention spans!

We received this blanket/toy as a gift for our first son. I've since begun to use it as his "lovey," a transitional object that helps him to feel secure when falling asleep. He loves to grab the corners and twirl the fabric close by his face, and always wakes up with "Bear," as we call the object, right by his side.

It's also a great toy in general. My son finds any rattle amusing and interesting at this age (he's currently 6 months old), because he's really into "cause and effect" type play.

There is a quiet rattle inside the bear, so be forewarned if you want something silent to use for this purpose (though the noise doesn't bother my son, my husband thought it might at first).

There are MANY similar designs, so seek one out if this particular bear doesn't tickle your fancy.

I made the mistake of letting my son get attached to this bear. He loves it. Sucks on its ears and arms and throws the whole thing over his face to sleep. However, we needed a second one for daycare. Combine that with the sick feeling I get in my stomach when I remember "THE 1975 PANDA DEBACLE" following the loss of my sister's cuddle, I felt compelled to find a spare. Disney Baby Princess Music and Lights Walker, Pink

i bought this walker for my daughter after she wore out her first one. i thought it looked cute and i loved the idea of stationary toys and the opening trays.

the walker was easy to assemble, did it myself, but i was disappointed to find that although the box advertises it is for four months and up it clearly is not.

my daughter is going on eight months and cannot reach the floor in this walker. i am not sure if perhaps ours just has a defect and is supposed to go lower, but it seems to click into the lowest setting just fine it looks to be correct. but that's a four month difference and had i known that i would not have purchased it.

also, it's not the best walker in terms of your child getting around. the one i had before this had eight wheels and she could run all over and turn easily. this is one of the walkers where they can't really back up and/or turn easily which may be a bonus for some parents, but i found it to be annoying and my daughter gets frustrated in it after having one previously that could go anywhere.

OVERALL: it's very cute and in general it is well made. i just want to point out some of the flaws so you don't waste your money if your child is only four or five months old and you find they're stuck in the air because they can't reach!

My third daughter is in 75%tile for height and her feet are 5 inches off the ground for this product on its lowest setting. As a result she banged her head on the toy in front as she couldn't reach the ground to stabilize herself. It was also very difficult to put the toys on top and required some screws to be taken out then put back in.

By the time she FITS in this product she will already be walking and will not need it!!

Im returning it today, cute, but much too tall, and no way for a 4 month old baby. I wont buy further products from them based on how unhappy we are with this product.

Bottom line.... false advertising...with intent to mislead consumers. My daughter is 8 months old and 28 inches and her feet STILL are not flat on the floor. This walker says from 4 MONTHS UP! No way... such a waste of money. The toys on this walker are incredibly LAME. Please DO NOT buy this.. you will waste your money. I have no clue how this walker has some good reviews because it simply is a piece of junk.

The front of the seat has three mounting buttons that should lock into the three mounting holes on the tray to secure the seat. After placing our granddaughter in the seat, we found that these buttons will not stay locked into place, causing the seat to fall in front. Another example of a company using popular Disney characters to sell poorly made merchandise.

Our little one has some issues with midline play, so our doctor suggested we get some lighter weight rattles and toys. Apparently, the lighter the better and the fancy ones we had purchased were too heavy. After looking everywhere for lightweight rattles, I decided to try this group. They were perfect. Rasta Imposta Dumb and Dumber Lloyd Christmas Tuxedo Costume

This outfit was great and people loved it. However, it was not as pictured. In the photos you see a very refined, suit like outfit, with great looking pants & cane. In reality all you get is a very thin polyurethane outfit, which comes very wrinkled (and tags stating you can't iron it!). There is no cane, and the hat was crumbled. The suit pants you see in photos are not what you ge in the package. My fiance was able to iron it out using a wet towel so that it looked presentable.

Looks good...felt great. Was a HUGE hit at the three halloween parties i went to.

I dind't use the hat, b/c i actually cut my hair to look like lloyd christmas. (Which i reccomend doing....in the movie, lloyd doesnt wear a hat much. Peopel recognize him by his hair, mang.)

Fred's Swim Academy SwimTrainer "Classic"

I bought this SwimTrainer after I used another Amazon tube that goes around the neck--it was totally safe and we used it in the tub. We upgraded to this product and to our surprise, it was a hit for our 9 month old daughter! She is already kicking and moving herself to the other side of the pool. She isn't even crawling yet but my baby can swim! Maybe this will encourage her to crawl but I think she is going to walk before that ever happens. Good luck!

I had been holding my daughter to swim around in the pool since she's 5 months old. She's now 8 months old and getting too heavy for my wrists, so I decided to get this after I saw a friend's son using it. She was mad when I first put it on her at home. Then I tried again in the pool and she was totally ok with it since it made her float right away. I'm so happy to buy it because I don't have to hold her anymore and I can teach her how to kick from behind. It is great that it came with clear instructions telling you how to use the product.

I found it difficult to keep the air in while trying to close the valves, so I slid the cap into my mouth to close the valve while blowing. By doing so, the airchambers are inflated fuller and the valves can be depressed easier. Another down side is that you cannot put babies in their back on this product to learn back stroke.

I bought the red swim trainer for my son who is pretty slim for his age. At 23 months he weighs 25 lbs and is 35" long. I was having a hard time finding a swim vest or float that seemed okay for his measurements. I came across this item on Amazon and then did some digging on the net to find out more about the SwimTrainer as I had never heard of it. After discovering Fred's Academy, all the positive reviews, the cute little youtube clips of babies floating around the pool in it, I thought this would be perfect. I even decided to purchase the orange for my older boy who is almost 5 years old. Now, after using the trainers for the past 3 months at our local gym pool, I have to say that I like them, but do not love them. On the positive side, I'll say these trainers are made of a nice durable inflatable material. They do not feel like cheap plastic rafts. My older boy does jump in wearing this and so far no leaks. The best part about these floats is simply that they allow me more freedom in the pool when I am on my own with the kids. Taking two kids who can't swim to a pool without your better half is a nightmare. With the swim trainers, I have taken them to the pool once a week on my own all summer long. They keep my kids floating so that I can take turns playing with each child and help them develop some comfort/skills in the water. What does irritate me about the red one for my skinny younger boy is that, even fully inflated in all chambers, after about 25 minutes of swimming, it seems to ride up on him. That is the girdle feature that goes around his torso starts to creep upwards, and generally he appears to be sinking into the floatie. I instinctively, try to tug the thing down, but there is so much pressure holding it on so he can't fall out that you just can't tug it down. So, then I stop swimming, take the whole thing off, reposition it so it's not climbing up into his armpits, and resume swimming for another half hour or so, and then it's time to go home anyways. My older son doesn't appear to have the riding up problem, for him, the trainer just seems to twist around slightly to the left or right, and doesn't stay perfectly centered around him. He doesn't seem to care though. Also, I will say the trainer has helped my kids with kicking in the water, but it is still cumbersome for them to move their arms and paddle around the trainer. It's kind of like lying on a surfboard and paddling around the sides. They just aren't coordinated enough to do it yet. Also, my older boy's biggest problem is putting his face in the water, going under, etc. So, periodically we have to unbuckle the trainer to let him practice this skill as well. Generally, though, I like these trainers, I have found them a necessity when going to the pool, and my kids are pretty happy with them.

Mushroom Baby Pool 40"X 35"

The Intex baby pools are great fun for baby and toddler. This is our second year buying an Intex baby pool. The first one finally deflated after a complete year of imaginative play. Not only can it be used with water, we fill it with balls to create a ball pit, fill it with pillows to create a great comfy and cozy toddler space, and we also drape a super lightweight cloth to create a fort. My only little quam is that with each pool comes with a set of little attachable floats, and with each pool we have had at least one float from each set had a hole, and was not able to be inflated. Not a terribly big deal, but appears to be a consistent manufacture's defect.

I bought this pool for my six month old. I figured the beach water would be too cold and that water would warm up in this pool and she could cool off in it without freezing. The mushroom shade is perfect, she sits right under the dark spot so she's not in the sun. It's sturdy and not too difficult to blow up the old fashioned way. It even comes with little blow up toys. This is a good buy!! Loved it!

I just purchased this pool and thought it best to blow each piece of it up to see how well they would keep their form. So far, so good, since I did it last evening. The little blow-up toys are a real plus too. I cannot wait until the little grandchildren get up here to try it out. The pool never stayed inflated. Came with multiple leaks...too many to fix. I tried many times to fix the leaks and the top would never stay up. Was unable to use the pool. Was a complete waste of money.

I ordered this for our 9-month-old, in hopes that I can use it at home and easily hook it to a stroller and carry it to our neighborhood pool (no baby pool there). It's probably a too large to carry on a stroller, but an adult could easily carry it over a shoulder.

Our 6 and 3 years old have had so much fun playing with it in our family room for the past 2 weeks that we haven't even had the chance to put water in it! It's fantastic for imaginative play -it's been a house, a tent (with a blanket over it), a bed, a dog crate, an umbrella, a "sifter" (even though the white circles are not holes; still, our son inverts the top and pretends to fill it with peanuts and popcorn)... you get the idea. Oh, and the baby loves it, too. She'll sit in it and play and can safely maeuver crawling in and out because the sides are very low and soft. It's held up fine to all of this abuse. The added toys have been nice for the baby. I'm optimistic that it will make a great pool, too!

We used an air compressor to blow it up. It would take a long time by mouth!

Bubbles Bath Toy

These look so neat, but the image you see is about as good as it gets. The suction cup is stiff, and my 2-year-old can't seem to get it to suction without help. After a few seconds, they fall off (of each other and the tub). You can't stack more than 2 or 3 carefully. We tried on our smooth, clean tub, the door, the countertops...the only place it seemed to hold was the metal tub spout.

For the price, they were a huge disappointment and my son isn't interested. We bought two, but are returning the unopened box.

These looked fun for tub time for my 4 and 2 yo boys. When we got them they were so excited. Got in the tub that night and only about half of them would stay stuck. The other half would stick for a second then fall off which would frustrate and disappoint them. After I weeded out the bad half and they had good ones left, they loved them.

They are much bigger than I had imagined. Not only do they stick to our tub and each other... THEY REALLY DO STICK TO PEOPLE! Of course I had a big red mark on my forehead after a whole bath time of my daughter insisting I wear them like a unicorn, but we had fun.

I also for some reason thought they would be hard plastic, but instead they are full of air and they float.

I'm really happy I finally got these for her, Shes done so much laughing in the bath.

I bought this for my daughter to use in the bathtub. The concept seemed neat, something she could stick to the walls of the tub or to each other. However, they don't stay stuck to each other (or anything) for longer than a couple seconds before falling off. That's no fun! How is she supposed to build something with them? Lame. there definitely is a little trick to getting the bubbles to stick to one another and stay stuck...one wrong move and they all pop off! i ordered a set for my almost 2yr old daughter (after reading mixed reviews) and thought this would be an economical gift for other toddlers on my list this holiday season...but because it does require a certain "finesse"...others might get frustrated with it. i did, however, order one extra for my niece (also almost 2) because even if it doesn't work perfectly, i know my sister won't think i just passed some crappy gift onto her!

Great construction and colorfull. Unfortunately, I purchased a larger flute for me to play along. My God son insiste I play this one while he plays the larger.

This toy is VERY VERY small. I purchsed it for my one-year old that loves music. He likes this but its not used a whole lot because it doesn't do much. The durablity is great and it will definitely out live his childhood.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Storybook Rhymes

I *almost* didn't buy this toy because of the reviewer who said that the pages were cardstock. They are stickers on a hard plastic page, NOT cardstock!!! Huge difference, especially with a 6 month old who likes to eat everything. I just got it yesterday and so far, it's a hit!

Lately I'm not impressed with Fisher Price. The last several toys of theirs have left me disappointed. They WERE the toy company I grew up with in the 80's but they no longer hold the market and there are better items available.

What the descipt doesn't tell you is that the illustrated pages on this are CARDSTOCK glued to the durable plastic "pages". Cardstock. That's not very baby friendly.

Vtech on the other hand has a nursery rhymes book (same concept, plastic musical light up pages) but their books illustrations were printed on high gloss stickers thus they are easy to wipe off and the pages don't run the risk of being torn, etc.

Great idea but done better by others.

My 10 month old really enjoys this toy. She has started to move to music and loves to flip through books so it has worked out perfect for entertaining her for lengths of time. She doesn't quite get the buttons yet that refer to numbers, colors but that is part of the benefit of the toy...she'll grow and learn.

My 15 month old loves this book. He loves pushing the nose to hear the nursery rhymes.

The little songs are not annoying and the singing is pretty good.

I am a first time dad, and after hearing the news of my wife being pregnant, I immediately ran out and bought one of everything. This toy was a hit from day one. She has many toys that vary in price, but this one gets by far the most amount of attention, she screams with laughter when I open this book every time! I personally don't get it. To me it is a plastic book that has so so songs, nothing I would imagine she would like, but to her it is the best toy ever!!You should consider buying this for the price.

This Strawberry Shortcake doll was just what we were looking for...perfect in every way. We gave it to our daughter for her first birthday and she loves it, sleeps with it every night. If you want a well-made, beautiful cloth doll, you won't be disappointed in this one.

We purchased this doll as a Christmas gift for my daughter over 3 years ago. She hasn't slept a night without it since. It holds up well to washing (and long since lost it's strawberry smell). I will say that I have had to re-attach the hat with needle and thread more times than I care to count (definitely more than 10), so that's kind of frustrating. She has also lost some of her hair. But to be honest, the only reason I was on this page was that I was thinking of buying a replacement, so I would say I definitely recommend it!

Strawberry Shortcake is a well designed doll with detailed features and durable construction. She has a very distinct "strawberry" scent which is discernible right after you take her out of the package. The manufacturers description states that she is a toy which is "safe for all ages" has held true as all her features are designed in a way that prevents any possible choking hazards.

Overall this toy is probably better suited for older children (or collectors) who understand Strawberry Shortcake as a character because it does not provide much entertainment value as a stand-alone doll (as compared to the traditional baby doll). My daughters (ages 1 and 2) have played with her briefly but typically shun Strawberry Shortcake in favor of their other dolls.

I rated this item 4 stars because I think it's well designed and it's durable enough to survive the typical rough play. I would have rated it higher, but I don't think the entertainment value is high enough for younger kids to warrant a 5 star rating. In addition the dolls head is large (like the character), but it makes balancing her precarious which tended to be a point of frustration for my older daughter.

I got this for my niece who's almost a year old. She seemed to like it, or at least it didn't make her freak out like some other gifts she got for Christmas. My sisters say it really does smell like strawberries too, so that's good.

Occasionally, I'll buy something online or through a catalog because the picture of the item looks so good. When it arrives, it's a disappointment when the item doesn't really match the catalog photo and is cheaply or inexpertly made.

I'm happy to report this did not happen with this Strawberry Shortcake doll. This doll looks better than the photo (more detailed) and is solidly made. It feels like an old-fashioned doll -both in style and construction.

The doll has the perfume-y, slightly unreal scent of strawberries, but it isn't overwhelming. It's a pleasant odor, really. I'm not sure how long the scent will last, but I'm not sure how important that is, anyway.

My mom has collected Madame Alexander dolls for around 40 years. I showed her this doll and she really gave it a thorough going-over. Mom thought it was great and ended up buying one for one of my nieces for Christmas.

Tolo Toys First Friends Construction Worker with Wheelbarrow

I have purchased several Tolo toys over the past few years for both of my boys. These are very cute and very durable toys... the little skateboard guy rolls along nicely on hard wood floors, the race car is actually a pull'n'go car, so it has added fun and the little construction toy is cute (although the wheel barrel doesn't do anything, it's still cute). All of the little "First Friends" people are durable, make a little "click" noise when moving the joints and head, and they feature a little squeak button on their tummies and they make fun "on the go" car toys.
