It's very cute, easy to assemble, but not entirely true that it's made in Peru. Parts are made in India, Peru, and the wooden arch is made in China. I was disappointed as I was trying to avoid this.

This is an adorable play gym, but for the price, I was a little disappointed in the condition it arrived in. The gym was in in multiple pieces, which was to be expected, but was packaged in a far too big box. The only thing protecting the individual pieces of the gym from bumping into/scratching each other was a thin plastic sleeve. They could have added some ecofriendly packing paper to keep the pieces from bouncing around. Also, some of the edges are a little unfinished/rough. I don't expect it to be bad enough to cause splinters, but for the price, you really think you'd get a more finished/better packed product.

Skip Hop Alphabet Zoo Soft Activity Book

I make a lot of my kids stuff because sometimes I just can't find the quality I want. I just received the Skip Hop soft activity toy today, and went right on here to write a review. It is really beautifully made. So many different fabric textures, and the little animals pictured are multidimensional and adorable. This toy has the character and quality of something lovingly handmade. My son was fussy a minute ago and as soon as I gave him this toy he was immediately engaged. He is currently enjoying chewing on the banana :D Really great toy. Would definitely recommend it. And a huge plus, the little strap to hook it onto car seat/stroller/anything. It will be coming with us on walks from now on. Thanks skip hop for another adorably great toy!

At first I was so excited about this product, it is just so cute! But, it is definitely not my little ones favorite...a little boring for her.

I got this for my daughter for Christmas a few months ago. She was eight months old at the time and liked it then. She still likes it now at eleven months. It is very cute and it makes enough of a crinkly sound to be interesting, but is still pretty quiet. It has been chewed on and yanked at and seems to be sturdily constructed. I was slightly disappointed by the fact that the fox's feet are sewn on in a way that partially covers the words, "F is for fox." It would be easy to fix with a seam ripper-there are two lines of stitching and taking out just one row would uncover the words.

I was very disappointed in this item. There are no "activities" except for a crinkle sound and a small mirror. The colors are not bright, as shown in the photo, but rather muted and muddy. For what it is, this item is overpriced and will not capture a child's imagination or interest for long. I would not buy it again.

Razbaby RaZberry Teether

I absolutely love the idea of this teether which is why I bought it. Unfortunately, the raspberry part (which seemed like it was just glued) came apart from the rest of the binky which posed a huge chocking hazard. This scared me since I usually leave teethers in my child's crib where I am not constantly supervising. I would not recommend this product. I feel a lot more confident in the teether binky from "Soothie" that is all one piece. It's unfortunate because it looks like it would be a fantastic product if only it was constructed safer...

Firstly, let me just say that I am very glad that I ignored the "most helpful" review saying that it would come apart. I completely feared this because my baby seems to eat everything he can get his hands on, and he's only about 5 months! Well, I received the product and I couldn't be happier with the concept. It is a soft silicone material, comparable to other teething toys on the market, and my baby took to it instantly. The bonus: it is shaped like a pacifier, so babies can suck on it and it fits comfortably in their mouths. I can't say enough good things about this product.

Now about it coming apart, the green and red and green and blue teether's are two parts brought together, however the pink and the light blue teethers are one peice (i.e. there is no way it will come apart!!). I completely recommend the light blue, considering that is the one I bought for my baby boy. It is a very nice color, just as shown in the picture, and it is only about fifty cents more than the original "raZ-berry teether".

So, if you really want the contrast in colors, you can take the risk with one of the dual-color raz-berry teethers; Many people have been more than happy with the those and never had a problem with it coming apart. But personally, I would recommend the one-color ones; They are just as cute and you won't have to worry about the possibility that it will come apart. Enjoy!

I ordered this item from a different site and I was excited when it arrived but that was short lived. When I open the package I realized the teether was poorly made. I could see a seam where the handle part of the teether was attached to the base. I could see the silicone type glue that was used to attach the two pieces together. With a little bit of pulling I was able to separate the two pieces. This was immediately thrown away. I was glad I never gave this to my child. If he pulled it off he could have choked.

**I am adding an edit to this review. The teether that I was reviewing was the one with either the red bulb or the blue bulb. Reading other reviews it appears as the light blue one and the pink one are one solid piece. Since I do not have the solid one I can not verify that information 100%.

**Edit once again. I have ordered the all blue teether and I can confirm it is all one piece. While my son doesn't really care for the teether I think it is made well and I am sure other kids would enjoy it.

My son absolutely loved this but my mom and I had the scariest experience ever. Do not let your child use this unless you are watching them constantly. We both took our eyes away from him for just a second and he turned the binky around and started sucking on the handle. The handle is soft and with my son sucking it, it lodged in his throat. The thing was almost completely in his mouth! It took two of us to get that thing out. I contacted them and they said they would send an envelope so that we could send it back to get tested however they never sent it. This Elmo book is a hit with my little one and she especially loves lifting the flaps on this soft book. She loves the colors and patterns, too. You just toss it in the washer it's great!

My baby absolutely loves Elmo and so this book seemed perfect for her. The design is really cute and was there was enough of it to go around her room (approx 10 X 12), skipping her large closet and door. I'm only giving it 4 stars because I wish that it was a peel and stick. It's just a minor detail, as I realize that most qua lit wallpaper has the glue back. This is they type you need to soak to acticate the glue and then paste it to the wall and use a rag ad a straight edge to ease it onto the wall. It takes a bit of time and is messy, however it looks really nice!

Nuby Bath Tub Toy

I liked this toy a lot before I realized water gets into the rubber parts and can't really dry out. This is a great way for mold to start growing in it. I DO NOT want my child chewing on a moldy toy. YUK!

This turtle is very cute. It seems well made, considering it is a plastic toy, and both of my kids (ages 11 months and almost 5 years) love it for bath time. Unfortunately, the head is a squirt toy, like a rubber ducky, and those are notorious for mold growth. I did not realize this was the case when I purchased the turtle and I'm not sure I still would have had I known. It seems unnecessary for this toy as the head is hard to squeeze because it's attached to a plastic ring anyway and a head with no holes in it would have been just as fun. For the $2 I paid thanks to a Facebook deal it was worth the cost. Maybe $3. I don't think it's worth full price since it will need to be tossed in a couple of months.

My son got this truck at 11 months old. He loves all types of cars and red is his favorite color, so naturally this was a hit. He'll just sit on the floor, rolling it back and forth, while making truck sounds. He likes to spin the wheels, too. It's a small truck, so it fits well in a baby/toddler's hand, and the wheels are the only moving part. It seems very sturdy and safe. We've had it three months and he plays with it everyday.

Binkibear The Original Pacifier, Classic Brown

I was hesitant to buy this at first because we only use the Gumdrop Pacifiers and I didn't see how I could attach those to the bear. It took some effort but I WAS able to do it (see the pictures I uploaded in the product images).

The directions I got with the bear state that it can be tossed in the washing machine pacifier and all but I have not done that. It's a personal preference, just not sure how safe it is to get laundry detergent on a pacifier, even if it's rinsed. So I wash the pacifier by hand with hot water and replace it when necessary.

When I first bought this my baby (then 8 months) did not like this bear because it was a bit heavy and it kept pulling the pacifier out of her mouth. Within a few days, though, she really got used to it. Before buying this, I was going nuts in the dark trying to locate the pacifier in her crib, and the fact that she has designs on her crib sheets didn't help matters because it was easier to lose among them! I purchased this bear to solve my problem, and it solved my baby's problem, too when she starts crying at night she locates the bear (easy enough to do, even half asleep), puts the pacifier in her mouth and falls back asleep in no time. This bear is a lifesaver!

My title says it all. This is better than any of the other ones out there, especially if you have a toddler that's always trying to figure out how to take things apart. My little one is obsessed! Thank you to who made this!!! We use nuk, natursutten, and dr browns with this guy. Only problem, where can we buy a pink one!!???

My one year old daughter LOVES her BinkiBear! It's especially great at night because she would always call us if she could not find her pacifier in the middle of the night. The teddy it is attached to is too big to fall through the crib slats like her other pacifiers so now it is very easy for her to find and put herself back to sleep! It's great to take on trips for the same reason you don't have to worry about keeping track of it or having extras "just in case". We also noticed when we take the binky off to wash, she will cuddle with the bear because she is very used to having the bear around when it's rest time. As we get ready to start weening her off the pacifier, it makes us feel better that she is just as much in love with the teddy bear as the binky and we believe it will make the transition easier for her. I also like that you can use almost any pacifier because when we first got it, she didn't like that type of binky (she does now). It also comes with a teether that you can use with it or by itself. The paci and bear have been washed probably a hundred times and its held up quite well. Would highly recommend!

K's Kids Barbara 7.5" Doll

My daughter loves her new dolly! It's great because it's soft and light and she just loves to chew on her arms and legs. It's also machine washable which is great for mommy! Everything is sewn on so no worries about eyes popping off, etc and becoming choking hazards. It's also durable and can be wiped off when you don't want to throw it in the wash. Great buy!

Dora the Explorer Toddler Bed with Canopy

My daughter stopped wanting to sleep in her crib when we converted it to a toddler bed. She picked this one out and said she would sleep in it if we got it. She loves it! Much easier to get her to go to bed now (she is 4). Poka yoke is a Japanese term meaing fail proofing. In design you make things poka yoke so there is only one way things go together so you can't put thing together wrong. The designers seriously need a refresher on this. I had to undo and redo about 5 times, instructions are poor, and I didn't realize things were on wrong till you get a step further and have to undo.

My best advice is to go through the directions and put the bed together WITHOUT screws, figure out which way the pieces line up best, and then go back to put it together permanently.

My daughter absolutely LOVES this bed. Her birthday was in February, and she still talks about how much she loves her pretty new bed and is so happy to have it.

I cannot complain about the bed itself at all. Assembled it stands about 4' high. I was afraid it was going to be too big for her small space, but it takes up a LOT less room than her previous bed (we found the blue version at a yard sale the frame took up a lot of space Little Tikes Princess Pink Toddler Roadster Bed. The stickers are cute, the plastic is decently sturdy, the canopy is very thin but she doesn't mess with it so it seems okay. The frame is also strong enough that I have occasionally heard her bouncing on it (28 pounds) when we aren't in there.

The directions are not complicated, they are simply not clear ENOUGH.

1) If you get the canopy version, there are 8 brackets in two packs of 4. There are 2 types the upper has a hole on both sides, the ones for the floor have an enclosure. They are not separated by type, so you will have to open both bags first rather than just open one and put all 4 on the bed. Very simple, but annoying if you didn't pay attention and have to pull the headboard off to swap them.

2) The mattress support pad only fits one way. Unfortunately, it looks like it works both ways, so line everything up before you start screwing it together to make sure you don't have to reverse the pad.

3) If you have a rubber mallet, it would be useful to have on hand for tapping some of the metal pieces up and down to get the holes to line up. Not necessary, but helpful.

It's been a month since we put it together, and these are the problems I remember as being the most annoying. I'm sorry I didn't write this sooner, but if I happen to recall any other issues I will add them to the review.

The bed is worth it, though!

The bed itself seems fine. The installation process was fairly easy, but this item was not crafted with precision so not all of the holes lined up properly. Also, as other people have noted, the frame of the canopy seems a little weak.

FYI: If I could start the assembly process over, I would go to the hardware store and get the proper nuts and bolts to make this sturdier. It came with some screws and what seem like 1/4-20 Thd., 7/16 Lg., Three Prong Tee-Nuts without the teeth to hold them in place. Most of the screws stripped pretty easily and of course the last set I got to cross-threaded when I applied a little force to compensate for a misaligned screw holes. I think some longer, standard machine screws and some washers would be better since you're fastening the hollow plastic pieces to the metal frame. It's very easy for the head of the screw to drive in too deep.

This bed is really very pretty. And the bottom feels very solid and sturdy and safe. There are only two issues with it.

The first is not a huge deal the side guards leave no space at all b/w themselves and the mattress. I know it should be tight but it is so incredibly tight that it is very difficult to make the bed. The comforter doesn't fit in the spaces at all. This also is uncomfortable for a toddler just getting used to using sheets. My daughter kicks them off, but if they are too tight and she can't pull them out of the sides, she gets frantic. My solution was to remove one side guard and put the bed up against the wall. This gives just enough breathing room for the sheets and comforter and my daughter.

The second problem is that I would have liked the canpoy bars to be mpre solid. My daughter does not hang off things, but if you have a child that likes to grab and play with bars, she will break it instantly and or pull it down and fall. They have to be collapsible to fit in the box, but it would be helpful if they would make the box longer, thicken the canopy supports and make it harder to pull down.

But overall, the bed is lovely.

I bought this for my 3yr old daughter and she likes the bed. The hardware is your basic set of tubes and screws for the frame, with plastic everything else. It seems sturdy enough for her. Unlike other reviewers I did not find it particularly hard to put together, but I've put together my fair share of IKEA stuff, so maybe that makes a difference.

The canopy arrived torn and after calling Delta their solution was to ask me to return the item to the store, Amazon in this case. All I want is the canopy replaced but Delta can't help and Amazon wants me to ship the whole thing back. Thought everyone considering buying this should know what they're up against if they need something replaced.

This is a rip off. I bought my replacement parts directly from the manufacturer for $5. You can go to fisher price website and buy all of these replacement parts yourself without the middleman. I am sure that is where they also bought the parts they are selling you and are just marking them up to make a profit.

Green Toys Shape Sorter Baby Toy

I think this is a new product, but we are already convinced it is the best affordable shape sorter out there. We have young twins and this is the fourth Green Toys toy we've gotten for them. I love that they are made from recycled plastic and made in the USA, not China! But that's not the only reason to get these toys.

We got the Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Baby's First Blocks a little while ago and it is a similar concept to the Green Toys shape sorter. The problem with the Fisher Price model, at least for us, is that the lid just sits on top of the box. That means that our kids can easily pull the lid off and it even just falls off if the box is tipped. With the Green Toys sorter, the two pieces screw together and stay in place. This means that our 14-month-olds spend more time sorting shapes than just taking the lid off to fling the pieces around. This toy is also small enough that they can hold it and manipulate it better than the big fisher price box.

Off all the toys we have gotten for our kids, the Green Toys are consistently both our favorites and our kids. There may be a slight premium for them rather than the mass-produced toys from China, but they are still affordable and high quality!

I love Green Toys, and couldn't wait for this shape sorter to come out. My 12-month-old daughter doesn't quite know how to put the shapes in the correct holes, but she has fun trying! There are 8 shapes, and four holes on the top of the sorter as well as 4 holes on the bottom. The top screws off in order to dump the pieces out. This toy is nothing fancy, just a simple shape sorter, but I know it is a great, fun learning toy for my daughter that will last for years!

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Costume, Child's Hedwig The Owl Costume

I was very impressed with the quality of this costume. It didn't look or feel cheap at all. In fact it was very soft. My son (15 months old) thought it was a stuffed animal and enjoyed simply carrying it around the house, hugging it. I marked this costume highly on educational value because once we put it on my son, he began hooting like an owl which he hadn't done before. So in a way, it made him put a face to a word, so to speak. One of the reasons I chose this costume is because I knew it would keep my son warm on a cold, New England Halloween. And it did.

I bought this for my two year old to wear for Halloween as a sidekick to his sister's Harry Potter costume. It's absolutely darling!
