Amscan Palm Tree Inflatable Cooler

Amscan Palm Tree Inflatable CoolerHolds Lots of adult beverages, u can fit over 2 cases of glass bottles and over 2 lbs of ice. Hold up really well, no condensation or leaking!

I did not use this as a toy rather I used it as a cooler for a beach themed baby shower. It worked great!

Bought this cooler to hold drinks at an underwater themed baby shower. It was a hit and added to the over all ambiance. The multiple areas to blow it up made it very easy to inflate. (It does not blow up as smoothly as the photo would suggest. But was still fun regardless.)

I took this on a river float, to hold my beverages for me. It worked magnificently! Kept my drinks close at hand, and stayed inflated. Granted the normal use is to set this on the ground... it worked perfectly for my modified use.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn ABC Train

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn ABC TrainSafety hazard I would like to point out. My daughter has gotten her finger stuck in the gap between the bell on top a number of times. The bell functions by allowing up and down motion. In up position, the gap is wide enough that her finger can go inside, and the down motion hurts has her finger stuck. The worst thing is more she tries to pull more it hurts and gets stuck because of the shape of the bottom part of the bell.

Fisher price should work on this safety hazard. She loves it, but almost always cries soon after playing with it because of this issue.

Although this toy is officially for older kids (36 months!!!) this toy is much more appropriate for the younger set. My 6 month-old loves it, although after a month with it he doesn't quite know how to make it all work. It does keep him engaged during tummy time and in the last two weeks he has more than doubled the amount of time he has been able to spend (12 minutes a time now). It is really easy for the babies to activate this toy, all they have to do is roll it. This is great when they are really young and their aim isn't so great. Now that he is older and can sit up he knows how to spin the dial to make it sing/talk and loves to look at the LED display. He has yet to figure out to hit the smokestack. I just brought this to a playdate with several other babies and they each took a turn and loved it in different ways. I also like that it will say "D is for dog" etc.

Pros: Songs/Words aren't annoying

Has 2 settings, music and learning

Easy to use

Cons: Even on the quiet setting it is really loud

It is just a little too big

The LED screen could use some work, sometimes I can't figure out what it is supposed to be showing me (cat, dog, etc.)

Conclusion: This is a great toy that my son loves to play with. As he continues to grow he will enjoy it in new and novel ways from pushing it as he learns to crawl to learning the alphabet as he grows. I highly recommend this toy.

Just got it the other day and my son is enjoying it. Lots of neat things happen when he just moves it around and the songs/sounds don't get on your last nerve after a while, unlike other sound related toys. They came through on this one when they made it.

Schylling Ugly Doll Jack in the Box

Schylling Ugly Doll Jack in the BoxI think the reason why other reviewers are having issues with this not going pop has more to do with the Ugly Doll's ears than the popping mechanism. We haven't had any issues with it going pop when Mom puts the Ugly Doll back in just so. But it doesn't always go pop when Dad or toddler (two-years-old) do it because they tend to cram it in.

Made well and cool alternative to the traditional jack-in-the-box (clowns are creepy!).

One less star because Mom always has to help.

Thought it was cute looking & well made on the outside but every time we turned the handle, music played but it would never pop. The doll was constantly getting stuck. Shame, I will be returning for refund. But thank you to Amazon for making their return process so easy!!! Got give it a couple stars for that.

The Ugly Doll Jack was great except it doesn't always pop so kinda takes the fun out of the game when it doesn't work.

Eeboo Spin Me a Rainbow Game

Eeboo Spin Me a Rainbow Game
  • Ideal First Game
  • It's a Game and a Puzzle!
  • Teaches Colors and Shapes
  • Aids in the Development of Fine Motor Skills

This is a cute game. My 4 year old is a tad old for it and my 18 month old is not quite ready for it... but I hope it will be good when she is a tad older.

Buy Eeboo Spin Me a Rainbow Game Now

I bought this game for my 2 year old since she's been into rainbows lately and it seemed like a nice easy game that would be be interesting for her. She LOVES it! Her 4.5 year old sister will play it with her too so that's an added bonus. :-) It's very well made, sturdy, and stands up to some rough toddlers that have come over. :-) The shapes are all ones that my 2 year old knew pretty well already but it's helped to solidify them in her mind and within only a day or two she was able to tell me "indigo diamond" and "violet circle" without me having to remind her that they aren't just blue and purple. :-) It's also a great way to teach the kids about the rainbow and the order of the colors in the rainbow. It was well worth it and I would definitely buy it again!

Gave this to my 3-yr-old niece for Christmas & she loves it! It's a perfect little game for color & shape recognition, & her 5-yr-old sister enjoys it as well. She hasn't quite mastered using the spinner, but that doesn't seem to detract at all from the fun! Definitely a great purchase!

Want Eeboo Spin Me a Rainbow Game Discount?

This game is a fun FIRST game for toddlers. My 3-year-old enjoys spinning and choosing the right shapes to fit his board. He also likes to just do all the game boards as puzzles instead of a game. My only real critique of the game is that the spinner is clear plastic so it is hard to see which shape has been spun. I think that even a child who just turned 2 could play...maybe with some help naming the shapes and colors.

K's Kids Barbara 7.5" Doll

K's Kids Barbara 7.5' DollMy daughter loves her new dolly! It's great because it's soft and light and she just loves to chew on her arms and legs. It's also machine washable which is great for mommy! Everything is sewn on so no worries about eyes popping off, etc and becoming choking hazards. It's also durable and can be wiped off when you don't want to throw it in the wash. Great buy!

I love this lil doll! Got 2 for my like girl and my girlfriends daughter who are both under 1 yrs. old. Washable and a nice size doll for the price. Great quality. Both girls love lil Barbara. Such an adult name for a kid toy, but love it!

Buy K's Kids Barbara 7.5" Doll Now

This is such a cute doll for a baby or toddler. It's completely plush and everything is sewn together nicely, no buttons etc. that could come of posing a choking hazard. It's very hard to find multiracial dolls for a baby, and so after hours of searching on the internet I decided on this one. In my opinion Barbara passes well as a biracial (white/black) or Hispanic doll. It is by far the cutest one I have seen. K's kid also has a boy doll with the same complexion as Barbara.

Gund Baby My First Backpack 6" Beige Playset

Gund Baby My First Backpack 6' Beige PlaysetI gave this toy to my little grandson when he turned one year, but he didn't really respond to it. Granted, he is only one year old and may develop some interest later, but I don't think it is colorful enough to grab attention. The toy looks brighter in the picture, then when you see it the product is a bit disappointing. Honestly I think this toy might appeal to an older child. As for durability, I don't know yet.

This is not suitable for young monkeys. I bought it for my friends child monkey and he tore it apart very quickly and did not seem satisfied with it.

Black, White & Red Plush Panda Baby Rattle

Black, White & Red Plush Panda Baby RattleFirst off, my baby loves this toy. He really digs pandas (I think it's the contrast colors; he's 5 mos). So this is a go-to toy for him. However, for some reason, there was a crack on the plastic. Not too bad, but bad enough that we had to tape it to ensure that it wouldn't break further and potentially hurt the baby or pose a choking hazard. Not sure why it came in damaged (poor shipping?). Hubby wanted to return it but I didn't want to wait for a replacement, so we just fixed it with tape.

Skip Hop Funky Farmyard Activity Mirror

Skip Hop Funky Farmyard Activity MirrorThis mirror looks cute but the reflection in the mirror is like that of a circus mirror very distorted. Also, it's not easy to hang this mirror anywhere because the straps on the back used to hang it only have a small .5 inch/.5 inch section of velcro to attached the straps to. Would not have purchased this had I seen it first.

I bought this mirror for my son... he's not quite understanding the reflection in the mirror is him yet... :-) However, I like this mirror better than other ones on the market... it's cute, good size, can be hung in the crib or used as a stand when you are doing "tummy time" with your child.

Buy Skip Hop Funky Farmyard Activity Mirror Now

This mirror is distorted which I expected because you're not going to find a flat plastic mirror. My bigger complaint is that the mirror sitting on the floor tilts back too far for the baby to see himself. The straps on the back to attach it to a crib are too short to reach the velco spots they are supposed to attach to.

My daughter is 6 mos and continues to really like this toy. I got it for her when she was about 2 mos old to use at tummy time. It is cute and has several fun features. My only wish was that the mirror worked like a true mirror... it's kind of off like a clown mirror. Nevertheless, she likes it a lot and it was pretty cheap. Love skip hop products.

Want Skip Hop Funky Farmyard Activity Mirror Discount?

I just printed out the return label for this item. First of all, like many of the other reviewers have mentioned the distortion of the image on this product is evident. The only way it is clear is if it is about 2 inches or closer to your face. It hurts my eyes just to look in it from any further away. The straps on the back that are intended to be used for attachment to the crib were about 2 inches too short on my mirror. There are Velcro tabs for the straps to attach to and I would've had to fold the mirror in half (which probably would be possible given it is basically just fabric covered sturdy cardboard) just to make the Velcro tabs on the straps attach to the Velcro tabs on the backside of the mirror. I was pretty bummed because the border on this mirror is gender neutral and pretty cute. I have the activity mat that matches, but this mirror is just not worth keeping. I'll keep shopping.

Little Tikes Discover Sounds Zoo Motion Cube

Little Tikes Discover Sounds Zoo Motion CubeThis toy is soooooo much fun! My 11 month old grandson plays with it forever. And he usually gets bored very easily with toys! The only thing that isn't such a great feature is that it goes through batteries pretty quickly. Just be sure to shut the toy off when not in use. I searched stores for this toy as I had seen it at a friend's house but couldn't find it anywhere! Not even at Toys R Us. It's a lot of fun to use and watch small children play with it. They don't know what to make of it.

Alex Jr. Stack A Cake Toy

Alex Jr. Stack A Cake ToyI got this on sale and thought it would be so cute for our babies first birthday, and it was, but she never really played with it, occasionally chewed on a ring, but that was it. I can't say i'd say to buy it again, the core is just a foam stick that can slide up and down the base making it kind of flimsy. The rings end up looking like fancy glazed donuts, so i suppose i could put them with my toddlers kitchen.

We have had this toy for about 2 years now and it still looks great. No fading, tearing, etc. It is adorable! Now that my daughter is 2 we STILL keep this toy. It is an adorable addition to her kitchen and we love sharing this donut cake together -One for her, one for her brother, and one for mommy! Super super cute!!!

Wonderworld Sprinter Caterpillar Wooden Pull-Along Toy

Wonderworld Sprinter Caterpillar Wooden Pull-Along ToyWe bought this for our granddaughter's first birthday. She was delighted before the paper was completely off the toy, squealed with happiness and carried it around. When she realized she could also pull or push it, (she does walk already) she spent even more time playing with it. In fact, it became a travel toy as well as an at-home play thing for awhile. The colors and the movement are fun for her and it is still a big hit.

My son loves taking this toy everywhere. It has such bright colors and makes a cute squeaking sound when it's pulled. Very interesting for a baby.

Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Classical Stacker

Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Little Super Star Classical StackerI bought this one before my baby was born and he was just enthralled with it from day one. Whenever I pushed down on the star and the thing lit up, he just was mesmerized by it. Then, he decided that, being the engineer that he is, he'd rather play with it without the stars on it so he can see how it works. He just loves that! It's just so very pretty when it lights up and it also teaches coordination. He still plays with it and he's now three. Definitely a fanstastic purchase, one that can withstand having food dumped on it, being tossed onto the floor numerous times, you name it and it is still just like new.

This is my son's favorite toy, and for eleven bucks that's quite a deal. He literally can play with this toy for hours if given the opportunity. He's learned to press the button on the top that plays the music, and as soon as he does, he looks at everyone in the room and gives them a "look how smart I am" smile. It's hilarious! He's just now learning (at 12 months) how to put the stars back on the base. He couldn't do this a couple of months ago; he could only get them off, so it has grown with him. I put scotch tape over the speaker because there is no volume control and it can be quite loud. The tape still lets the tunes be heard, but now I don't have to talk over it! My mother is a daycare provider and she also has this toy, and her children love it, too; they even fought over it until she bought another one. That means I know of at least three children who can't get enough of this toy. It's worth its weight in gold!

Buy Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Classical Stacker Now

We bought this toy for our baby's first Christmas, and he is over 2 now, and still loves it. He likes to take the stars off, and play the music. We call it his music stick, which he carries allllll over the house spinning to the music until he falls. The lights just make it even better to him. A great toy, not too expensive toy.

Read Best Reviews of Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Classical Stacker Here

Our 11 month old has been playing with this toy since he was 6 months old. He really likes the lights, sounds and music. However, I was disappointed that the stacker is shaped like a cylinder so you can put the stars on in any order you choose. So it does not teach children that the big star goes on the bottom and get smaller as you go up. Also, the star that goes on top is cute, but it almost never gets used in conjuction with the stacker. It didn't take long for our baby to figure out that you just have to press the button on the top to get the music to play.

Want Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Classical Stacker Discount?

My son especially liked playing the tunes by pushing the top button on the stacker, and I liked the toy too--until it suddenly died. He hadn't been rough with it or anything, and we tried changing the batteries and everything, to no avail.

Moover Wooden Baby Walker with Shock Absorbing Rubber Wheels, in Red

Moover Wooden Baby Walker with Shock Absorbing Rubber Wheels, in RedI have been meaning to write this review for a couple of months. This is an amazing walker. I did extensive research on walkers and was looking for something that didn't make noise, was able to be used a "cart," and had adjustable tension for early walkers, but could be loosened up later as my daughter became more skilled.

This toy fully met all of my expectations, and putting it together was a snap (no tools!). I love the rubber on the wheels; it is saving my walls since the cart is rammed into things 100x/day. This is by far my daughter's favorite toy. We weighted it down with a couple of coffee table so that it wouldn't scoot away from her when she was just learning to pull up, but we took those off after a few weeks and now she can get off to a great start without a problem.

The only drawback to this cart is that my now 11-month old has trouble steering it / changing direction. She goes careening into walls and furniture at full speed (laughing like it is going out of style, all smiles!), and when she hits something she looks for one of us to help get her going again. After about 6 weeks with this toy she is starting to understand that she can turn it around herself. I don't think this is a fault of the toy, but more of an issue with her lack of experience and skill level.

We are looking forward to the day when she figures out that she can use the cart to drive animals, books, etc around the house. I can tell it will have a long lifespan in our house!

I have an 11 month old who is just learning to walk. This cart is amazing. Simple to use and easy to assemble, it's been a great addition to our home. I found it more attractive and more stable than other walkers I've used (I've been a nanny and have an older son too). The best thing about it is that it has adjustable tension on the wheels. There are two hidden screws on the back wheels, and with a screwdriver, you can make the cart easier or harder to push. When your baby is still pretty unstable at walking, you can make it hard to push and very slow, and as they get better at walking, you can loosen the wheels and make it more of a little wagon or toy shopping cart.

The rubber gaskets on the wheels prevent any damage to the floor or walls from baby's bumps. This cart doesn't have a ton of extra frills and toys, but it works better than most of the others. I highly recommend it. At Christmas time, it was only 49.95, though. I would probably pay the extra if I couldn't find it at a better price, but I would definitely get it again. The quality is so great, though, I won't have to! I think it will last for generations.

Buy Moover Wooden Baby Walker with Shock Absorbing Rubber Wheels, in Red Now

It is SO easy to put together. The quality is superb! My daughter is now 2 and it looks brand new after a year of use. I have another daughter who will be able to use it soon! Not only does it make a great walker that does NOT tip over on your child, but it can have many other uses too! Doll buggy, grocery cart, my daughter loves it when her big brothers push her around in it! I highly recommend this walker! We had another one with a bunch of stuff on it and we returned it. This is so much safer and allows your child to use their imagination in so many ways!

Read Best Reviews of Moover Wooden Baby Walker with Shock Absorbing Rubber Wheels, in Red Here

Don't get this. I returned it immediately after seeing how flimsy the wood is (plywood that would easily splinter). The screws of the wheels strip easily. Get the Boikido Wooden Push And Play Rabbit Wagon instead. It's all solid wood and includes a great rubber stop type of brake which prevents the walker from potentially toppling backwards.

I really preferred the idea of a wooden walker but this is NOT the product for a new walker baby.

Reindeer Infant / Toddler Costume

Romper Reindeer Toddler CostumeThis product was disappointing. It is pictured with a red nose, so it seemed perfect for my almost 2 year old's Rudolph costume. It arrived with a black nose. I had to remove that nose and sew on a red pompom instead. Also, the size was way off. The choices were USA sizes 1-2 or 2-4. Since my son is almost 2, I purchased the 2-4 so it would be a little roomy. It was TINY. At first I thought they sent the wrong size, but the fine print on the package reads that USA sizes 1-2 fit infants under one year and USA sizes 2-4 fit ages 1-2 years. I don't know what part of the "USA" would agree with that size chart. We made it work, but it could have been a lot better. Thumbs down.

This product looks exactly like the picture, and it arrived in good condition and on time.

VTech Brainy Baby Creativity Collage

VTech Brainy Baby Creativity CollageI got the brainy baby right brain and left brain creativity collage for my twin boy and girl when they were 13 months old. They loved in then and still do. Initially, they just loved pressing the buttons, but now (18 months old) they respond to commands from Tammy like "clap your hands" or "dance to the music." The toy has lots of different activities and buttons to press. I had trouble finding toys for my kids from about 12-18 months (now at 18 months they seem more interested in pretend play and follow instructions now). I found this a perfect toy for every kid I have had over to the house. My neice who is four even enjoys playing with it. The toy has a little handle and my kids carry it around. The toy is kind of expensive, but I would recommend it to anyone.

This is another one of those electronic "learning" toys that simply inundates infants and toddlers with lights and noise, was slapped together just as fast as the makers could and put out on the market for us to waste our $$. It is so loud and flashy, and I don't believe it offers much in the way of learning. The phrases it says are totally unrelated to the button pressed. It doesn't say "triangle" when you press the triangle button, for example. Instead, when pressed, the buttons activate silly, meaningless little phrases such as "Clap your hands" and "You're a little brainy baby." Instead of this toy, I recommend the Leap Frog bus, caterpillar, and activity table, and the Laugh and Learn Learning Table. This was my first "Brainy Baby" purchase and it will be my last.

Ok, first you have to know that I never write reviews for anything. But, I think so highly of this toy, I just can't tell you enough about it. I bought it for my 3 month old daughter because there is hardly anything out there for a child that young to play with and I wanted her to have something to look at and try to do. At first she just accidently kind of hit on things and the lights started dancing and the music played. She was in love. Her face lit up and her little arms and hands flapped when she saw the toy coming. Next she learned to flip the little butterfly back and forth this became her favorite part for weeks. Then finally she learned to get the phone off the toy and rattle it. I guess what I'm saying is that this toy was her favorite thing in the world (even in the face of many other toys) from about month 3 to month 8 or so. She's 10 months now. From a parent perspective...the toy has a lot of different music on it so you don't have to hear the same annoying songs over and over. I actually like listening to it. And it turns off if you don't touch it for a few minutes. I definitely got my money's worth out of this toy and I highly recommend it. Especially as an introductory toy for a very young child.

Want VTech Brainy Baby Creativity Collage Discount?

okay, so we got this toy before our first child was even born. we loved the different genres of music it played and how the baby on it instructs the child what to do (clap, clap, clap your hands! shake it baby, shake it!). it was our first child's most favorite toy, our second child's most favorite toy, and now our third child's most favorite toy. obviously it's very durable. yes, so maybe it's not as educational as other toys but let's face it, most toys aren't (so you just have a few toys and lots of books, that's easy). our kids love pushing the piano keys and hearing classical music, country, jamaican, etc. that they can dance to. and spinning the little gears at the top too, and flipping the butterfly wings (all of which causes the toy to play music). our kids have played with it from 4 mos through 2 years. if you're looking for a toy that will last a long time and be played with over and over: this is it! the telephone on it hasn't been played with much. no big deal. sometimes toys are just fun. get this toy AND a book :P
