These are great! My girls love them! The first set, one with animals, I purchased for my daughter when she turned one. She is now three, and still plays with them. She has a 9-month-old sister who likes playing with them also, so I decided to get more.
I haven't had any incidents with them choking on the wheels or hats, but had that concern when I decided to buy these. For that reason, I do keep a closer eye on them when they play with these.
Other reviewers have mentioned a rubber smell…. However, the one's I've purchased all smell like vanilla. I've always had a very strong sense of smell, so I'm usually pretty meticulous about the things I buy.
I would definitely recommend these, and will probably purchase more myself.

Edushape Mini Edu Train, Set of 30 is rated for 12+ months. My son is 19 months old. He popped off one of the wheels and put it in his mouth. It got lodged in the back of his mouth in his throat. My husband dug it out with his finger. My son then vomited. Both were shaken up pretty badly. I am returning this item. It should be rated for older children or should be made so the wheels cannot come off, or with larger wheels. The little caps for the people aren't much bigger. These blocks are great for my 13-month-old. She is teething and putting everything in her mouth. I don't have to worry about her hurting herself or anyone else. I also love that they can be stacked in different ways. Most blocks for babies can only be stacked up high.Monday, May 12, 2014
Fisher-Price Discover 'n Grow Push 'N See Kaleidoscope
Pros: Easy to use at around 6 months
Six other babies have played with this toy and they all loved it too
The ears are just the right size for teething babies
Cons: A little large
The laugh is evil and annoying
Update: This, like all battery-operated children's toys, needs an off switch. Not only does my baby love this, but so does my dog. Now we hear an evil laugh coming from the next room, both day and night, because the dog has figured out how to push the handle down with his nose.super cute toy...baby even dances the the little sounds it makes. got it when she was 9 months old, she is able to pull the tail and make it go all on her own...easy to use

At 2 months, baby intently watches the twirling black & white design. I think it will still be of good play value when she's big enough to manipulate it herself.Monday, May 5, 2014

My son loves to bang things to hear the noises it makes, but it wasn't always pleasant to us. I saw this hammer in the store and I put it in the cart immediately. He has loved this toy for a good long time now. If he gets into his banging moods I get his hammer and tell him to bang with it. It makes cute noises and is safe.Read Best Reviews of Little Tikes Discover Sounds Hammer Here
I got this for my son and he isn't able to pick it up still since the grip of it is too big. This isn't a small hammer but a pretty large one. I'm sure once he's much older, he will like it more but don't buy this product for a child under 18moThis is a great toy to keep in the car. It lights up and makes noises, but isn't too loud or obnoxious. And he can play with it just sitting in his car seat.Tuesday, March 18, 2014
Guess How Much I Love You: Soft Book by Kids Preferred
Pros-
* ALL the pages have the crinkle paper (not just the first page like most soft books).
* the textured teething heart is thin enough that my little one can grab it easily.
* "Press" button makes a kissing noise and says "I love you". Has not worn out in the 6 months we've been using it
* Another favorite feature is the "binding" which is almost like a soft rubberized coating. I really don't know what the material is, but my daughter also loves to chew on it. She has had two teeth since four months and there are no teeth marks.
Con-
* Cleaning directions are: surface wash. I wish I could just throw it in the washing machine but I'm sure the "voice" inside isn't waterproof. :-) The same is true for almost all of my daughters cloth toyssurface wash only.
This is my "go to" item. I'll be gifting all new babes with this awesome book.Love this story for the very young. The cloth format makes it a natural to introduce at an early age. The crinkly sound of each page also makes it a tactile great find!!! I've added this to my collection of reading material for my youngest grandchildren.

My wife bought this book for our 6 month daughter and I am not real impressed for the price. In reality, you are buying a toy, not a book, which is not really what we were looking for.It has several things for them to play with: a teething ring, it crinkles when the grab it, and it even has a battery operated speaker that tells the baby, "I love you" when pressed. All of these things work as intended, so nothing to complIn anout there, although the piece that holds the jumping bunny is really flimsy, so I would not recommend you let your baby play with it unattended; however, we were looking for a book that our baby could hold on to while we read it to her. The book works for this, but there are better books out there for less money, like the Peek A Boo Forest, which we got on sale and our daughter loves.

I thought a soft book would be quiet, but there is crackly paper inside the pages. Would not recommend, made very cheaply.Want Guess How Much I Love You: Soft Book by Kids Preferred Discount?

Fisher-Price Crawl-Along Drum Roll

When my brother-in-law and his family came to visit for Father's Day, they brought this toy for their 6-month-old to play with. My 5-month-old absolutely loved it, and the two babies enjoyed it together the entire weekend. It was definitely their favorite toy (by far). The best part is the way it can be configured either as bongos, for play, or as one rolling piece, which encourages them to follow and crawl. It lights up and makes noises that delight the little guys. I was amazed how much inspiration it gave my 5 month old, who showed pretty much NO interest in crawling prior to this. It's a great toy! As soon as they left, I had to buy one for my son!Read Best Reviews of Fisher-Price Crawl-Along Drum Roll Here
I purchased this for my son for his first birthday. He loved it and enjoyed it for about 2 years when the wires inside broke and it no longer worked. It's not really educational, just push a button and music (one tune, over and over) plays and it lights up, but not on demand, like every time you push a button something happens. It's just push it once, get the long tune and flashing lights. I expected it to be more durable as it was just normal use that eventually wore it out. I think there's a design flaw with the way it's wired because it puts strain on the electronics when you move it into the crawling toy and back to the bongo drums style, eventually wearing through the wires until they break. Because this was (STILL, at age 3) my son's favorite toy, I bought a new drum to replace it, but I went with International Playthings Flash Beat Drum, which is half the price, better for a crawl-along toy (for his little sister), plays more songs, reacts to each hit of the drum with sound and lights instead of just one time, and is overall a better toy. For half the price. And he likes the IPlay one better. I think it's better for younger kids, too. My nine month old loves it, too, whereas she couldn't get the Fisher Price drum to play because she wasn't strong enough. I give this Fisher Price one three stars, but only because my son liked it and really he is super easy to please. For the price, I'd give it more of a 1 1/2.Want Fisher-Price Crawl-Along Drum Roll Discount?
We got this when our daughter was 4 months, just starting to sit up, and showing an interest in toys with lights and sound. This was the only toy she was strong enough to hit and get a response. She found it pretty entertaining at 4 months b/c it was much brighter, flashier and noisier than the usual toys for this age group. Now that she's 6 month, she is less interested in it. Likes others have pointed out, we were disappointed that this isn't really a cause and effect toy. Hitting a drum does kick off one of two songs. And if you listen closely, continuing to hit the drums actually DOES produce new drum sounds. The problem is that the music is so loud and dominant, you can only just barely hear the drum sounds. We haven't used this as a crawling toy yet, but I don't see this toy having long-term appeal. I think even my daughter thinks it's annoying.

Jellycat Cordy Roy Lion Md 15"

We have the pink kitty version of this stuffed animal and our 13 month old adores it so we got her the lion as well. She loves lions and roared as soon as she saw it so she definitely knew it was a lion. It is really, really soft and she loves hugging it. The fabric is noticeably softer than the pink kitty version but the kitty has been washed so I don't know if washing it made it less soft or if this lion is just softer. The good news is that the kitty held up to washing (gentle cycle in a front loading washer) and drying (on low) and pretty much looks as good as new so I suspect the lion would wash well too.Item arrived as described and made a great gift for a friends new baby. Only thing I noticed is that the fur in the mane and tail was pulling out pretty easily. Hopefully that was just because it was new.I purchased this corduroy lion for a baby shower gift. The toy is soft and well-made I'm sure it will be cute in the baby's nursery and later will be a favorite cuddly pal.Saturday, October 5, 2013
Happy Quartett Fabric Blocks
On the upside, my son really seems to like them so far!We bought these blocks for my daughter when she was around 6 months old. She has (and still does at 9 months) love them. When she was more stationary she like looking at the different blocks and they provided good incentive for "tummy time." Now that she is much more mobile she bats them around the room, "rolls" them, knocks them over when stacked, and since they are squishy she can easily grab them out of her toy basket.
These are a great buy and would make a great gift for a baby.

This was a Christmas gift for our son's first Christmas and I'm very happy with the quality of this toy. It comes in it's own carrying case making it easy to pick up the blocks, store them and travel with. The blocks themselves are wonderfully bright and squishy enough so baby can pick them up to chew on or throw around. Each one makes a different sound: jingly, crunchy, rattle and the best way to describe the other one is kind of a squeaky jingle! To me, a squeak is something you have to push in but this block just shakes up and down like the rest of them. Anyway, they're all cute and soothing sounds. Like the other reviewers said, these are great for stacking up and knocking them down. There's so much to do with these blocks, they entertain both of us for a long time!Baby (6mths.) began to enjoy right out of the delivery box. Love that the blocks are soft enough to be batted around. Great colors, textures, and sounds. So far baby loves to shake them and chew on them. Laughter ensues after mom and dad stack them and baby knocks them over. Will definitely be loved for quite some time.Wednesday, September 25, 2013
Russ Li'l Peepers Shecky Mommy and Baby, 11"
Our boys love these, not-so-traditional, turtles. The baby turtle seems to be an even bigger hit, and our little guy has been playing with both mom and baby (although still trying to steal turtle #1, who is now "Daddy turtle"). We tried. Thanks, Shecky. You're a must-have in our house. This is my 4 year old's favorite toy, she takes them everywhere. I think she likes the great big sad eyes, and I know she loves the fact that the baby turtle squeaks and rides "in its mommy's backpack."

We got this little turtle for our 2 1/2 year old daughter and she loved it! It has become a constant companion. It seems very durable and has endured a lot of love. The baby turtle stays in it's own pocket on top of the shell and squeaks. It is very soft and floppy.Read Best Reviews of Russ Li'l Peepers Shecky Mommy and Baby, 11" Here
I bought this for my daughter and she loves it, the little baby turtle is adorable. I had no issues or concerns with product and it came on time. This is so cute! The baby turtle fits inside a little pocket on the big turtles back. The baby turtle has a little squeeker in it. I haven't given this to my cousin yet but I'm sure she'll love it since its so soft and cute. The head of the turtle is huge compared to its body but that makes it special.Tuesday, August 20, 2013

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Apptivity Case: iPhone / iPod Edition
* Little ones can play with little risk of device damage
* Mirror on the back
* Opened with a coin
* Soft silicone backing keeps device flush to case front
* Thin plastic protects screen while allowing touch functions to work, but is flimsy and should not be given to child without the device installed.
* May work with a case or cover, but depends on the device and case/cover type
* Home button can be completely disabled, but if it's not, it is not super-easy for little ones to accidentally hit the home button.
* Doesn't interfere with audio (at least for my iPod Touch 4G)
* Cannot access volume buttons or power button on top.
* I say it's a great deal, definitely buy! This case is great for letting my niece play with my old iPhone. The following are some tips that I left as a comment, but figured everyone might benefit from.:)
So you're not constantly opening up the case to turn it on and off or change apps: I have found that flipping the phone 180 degrees in the case allows you access to the "home" button, but the film is still firm enough that it takes a little work for a toddler to press it. You can change your iPhone's settings to auto-lock "never", but I find setting it to "5 minutes" is usually enough. If my niece hasn't played with the thing in 5 minutes, she's probably lost interest. A trick for saving battery life is to put the phone in airplane mode before putting it in the case. No unwanted phone calls, no accidental internet access. Don't have a quarter handy to open the back? A standard house or car key will usually do the trick. Some plastic links from children's toys will fit the lock slot as well.
My only concerns: I wish there was a way to charge the phone while in the case without compromising the safety of the device when it's played with. A rubber stopper, maybe? And YES, a way to access the headphone port would be great, because then I could plug it in to speakers or other sources without opening the case. If you had a speaker in the case itself that could be connected to the headphone jack from the inside, that might be cool.

I purchased this so my 2 year old son could watch his shows Handy Manny, Chuggington, etc. while the family is out and about. It offers the BEST protection for the iPhone out of any case I have tried. I love that it covers the home button so his little thumb does not always hit it and stop the show. However on that note, at the end of a movie if the phone shuts off before you can start another, you must remove the phone from the case to turn it back on. I also wish it hand been designed with HANDLES in the widescreen position so when he is watching a show or movie he can hold on to handles. I do not think the rings on the case are needed. Buy the time it was released he was already 2 and not into playing with them. I have downloaded all 3 apps they promote with this product but found he is not interested in them, maybe for someone who is younger. My main use of this product is to protect mt iPhone while he is watching movies.
Make sure you carry a quarter to lock & unlock this case as it is a tight fit.

I was not sure if this would work for us or not. I found it at a store and decided to give it a try. My son has his own iPod touch and in our old case he would always reset the thing because he could get to the round button. We really wanted a case that would let him use t he touch screen but would only let us use the button. This was good in that he could use the screen and could not touch the round button, the only problem was that if we had to get to the button it was really a pain because you have to open the back and take the iPod out of the case. To fix this problem my husband drilled a hole in the cover above the button. We now use a pen to push the button but my son cannot access the button. This took care of the problem! We have only taken it out of the case to recharge it. If the case came with this hole then I would have given it 5 stars. Overall this seems like a great case and he sees to like it more than the otter box case that he had before. One other thing. I have read that wifi can be unhealthy for little kids so we just put the airplane mode on and the device stops sending and receiving any signals. This works well because the last thing I need is my 2 yr old surfing the Internet.Want Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Apptivity Case: iPhone / iPod Edition Discount?
This item is nice in that it protects my iphone from my toddler but it is really hard to get in and out of the case if you want to change apps or need to answer the phone. i guess that is to be expected though.
